I bought several samples first to see how the colors looked in my home with various lighting. I returned to buy all of the paint that I needed and staff was very friendly and efficient. The second time I was a customer, Eva, assisted me in my purchase process. I had names of my paint colors and needed a couple of other colors to coordinate with the ones that I already knew. She was accommodating and let me sit and use the table in the store to go over my vision board and she let me use her paint fan deck. I went with the BM Regal Select, as she recommended and boy did the colors go on beautifully (thought I used a painter). Thank you Eva, and Vista Paints - West Covina!

We're doing a bathroom remodel and the wife finds Ferguson carries a valve kit and trim kit that she likes. I call on a Friday morning and the sales rep tells me it's up in Stockton, CA but can be on hand and available for pick up on Monday around noon. Perfect. I make arrangements for the plumber to come out Monday afternoon. I'm told I'll get a message when the product is ready for pickup. Not hearing anything I called and spoke with another rep who informed me that the order never made the delivery truck, but would arrive today; Wednesday. And so l called mid-morning today only to be told initially I wouldn't get the part for another 7 days. After I raise a little Cain, I get patched through to someone else who says the parts left Stockton and may arrive today, but perhaps tomorrow. The rep says that she'll reach out and get a definitive answer by end of day and when the clock nears 5:00 p.m. I call to follow up. I get routed to another rep who looks up the order and tells me the order arrived and I could have picked it up today to have it installed. Not sure why that had to be so hard and why a rep would have promised Friday if that wasn't doable. I might not ordinarily care except I've got a contractor who is now delayed in completing the job and that costs me money.

Which Is unprofessional and uncalled for. I'm trying to get my jobs finished and up to NEC code, so I really don't deal with fittings or anything. I usually send one of my workers to get it, but this particular project, I had to go and grab material. The other associate who originally helped me was like and I quote " oh you are back again and laughed" as if I already knew him. Of course I'm back you guys are the closest store for electrical! Our contractor steered us away from the transformers at the big box home stores, he said he's had problems with quality in the past. So I searched online. In this instance, Amazon did not come through, anything good was going to take at least a couple of days for delivery, and appeared to be drop-shipped from other vendors. Walters has a bunch of locations in the Los Angeles area. I went on their web site, found what I needed... and of course it was out of stock locally. But the web site listed other locations and the stock at each, very clearly. This feature on the Walters web site is superior to Home Depot and Lowe's web sites, where they restrict information, making it hard to find stock quantities at multiple locations. Long story shortened... I bought a nice 300-watt low voltage transformer at 10 o'clock at night and picked it up the next day. It was a bit of a drive but we got it. The price was not discounted, if I had more time I could have searched for a discount on something of similar quality, which I may or may not have found. When the contractor saw it he said, "that's a good one." So all-in-all a positive experience.

I've seen many TV advertisements for Bob's Discount Furniture and, with our old, broken down sofa…read moreon its last leg, decided to give them a visit when I realized one had opened up in the shopping center near our home. I was actually surprised at the quality of the furniture at what were, indeed, discount prices. There's lots of selection, and our salesperson, Marisol, accompanied my wife and myself to field any questions as we browsed their showroom. Being a weekend, she graciously offered us coffee or snacks that were available onsite for their clientele, as well. We found the perfect sofa with twin reclining seats and a lighted, fold down center console with phone charging USB ports and even two power outlets, AND at a reasonable price. In fact, with the option of either power or manual reclining buttons, we saved even more by choosing the manual - though the power recliners weren't that much more expensive. The sofa also came with a 5-year warranty covering workmanship defects and incidental damage protection (accidental and/or pet-related stains). When setting up the delivery particulars, we were pleased to learn that Bob's delivery team could also haul away our current sleeper sofa (which is unbelievably heavy and cumbersome) for a nominal fee - good riddance! They were able to schedule delivery in less than a week (purchased on a Sunday; delivered on the following Friday), and the delivery crew was prompt, efficient, and courteous. They set the couch up, tested all functions, and ensured the recliners were an appropriate distance from the back wall when activated. They even texted a day later to follow-up on our satisfaction with their service - and we definitely were. I'm sold on Bob's now and intend to return in the near future to purchase some inexpensive hide-a-bed futons for the loft of our cabin. They have some really great deals!
