Shine Beer Sanctuary has a variety of beer on tap and bottle. The seating area is large and fun, perfect for large groups. I tried the Huckleberry cider and it was tasty. They also have a shop in which you can grab bottles of beer, t-shirts, glassware and stickers. Everyone that helped us was super nice. FYI It's attached to a restaurant so you can grab a bite to eat and a beer.

My group decided to each do beer flights which were very well priced and allowed us to try 4 of the of many delicious beers SHINE has to offer. SHINE offers many different places to sit including the outside on the patio, rooftop deck, and indoor seating which are perfect for any vibe!

When you want to hang outside with friends and/or fam and have a bite and a couple of beers this is the place to go. Strong tap list with options for every craft brew drinker. There is an emphasis on Montana brews but they are not exclusive. List available at https://www.shinebeer.com/on-tap Food: bowls, burritos and tacos. Nothing amazing but all good and pair well with beer. Menu here https://www.shinebeer.com/lapa Check out the covered deck on the topside.

The beer was delicious and selection was broad. Really enjoyed the casual and comfortable setting and warm staff. We had the loaded chips, and they were good as well.

Everything you could possibly want from a quality beer tap and food purveyor. Tons of brew styles that should provide unique options for all types of beer drinkers. I was impressed with their stout selections, including some rarities from past years. They allow you to get any four for a flight, and at reasonable prices. They also keep their selections sorta frequently updated online. As for the food options, there's a burrito and bowl creation line where you can order a number of fast Mexican (and some other types) choices. It's not going to win any culinary trophies, but it can hit the spot with a beer or two. Plus, there's ample seating inside and out to enjoy your choices, all in a well-designed and modern feeling space. If you're in the area and enjoy beer, this is a must! It's very conveniently located in the heart of downtown, to boot!

Really cool place. Fantastic beers, great service and super cool atmosphere!! They have board games you can play while enjoying your beer and a nice upstairs patio. The restrooms are funny! There's also food available next door.

probably the most amazing experience in my entire life, pure glory welcomed with soup and beer from every universe. If you do not come here you have failed, the environment is flawless. Try the tomato soup you must, the employees are very accommodating with ciabatta, so well done!

Gluten Free Beer Awesome customer service, and one of the few places in downtown Bozeman that sells GF beer ! My mother in law had Celiac, and she loved the Vanishing point beer.

Our waitress was very kind, provided great service & great recommendations! We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. We will be back, it may be over an hour drive for us but a drive well worth it.

The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. Definitely order this one fresh at the table.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

I gave suggestions of the beers and he made outstanding choices. I had the cauliflower wings with sweet chili sauce. Perfect fry on the cauliflower and the sweet chili had a great sweet and spicy balance. The bison chili was pretty good. The flavor and body was enhanced when you added the cornbread to it. Together is was a good bowl of chili. Great place to kick back for good food and a beer.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

We went up & ordered right away. This (our 3rd stop in Montana) was the 1st place to hand us the 3 stamp card. We, not being from Montana, looked at it as if he'd handed us a random appendage from his body, no doubt. All we were trying to do was pay for our drink - ha. His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. He told us to hold on to the card & pay after we were done. We went out back to the permanent food truck and ordered Kels kryptonite, the pretzel & a chicken & Belgian waffle w/ hot honey. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. Maybe we would have enjoyed the beer more if we knew what these cards were for and what the heck we were supposed to do with them! Fossil Fuel IPA scored a 3.25 from Kel n/a from me The Capone Oatmeal Stout a 3.5 from Kel 3.25 me Both on the average side with no major knocks or stand outs for features. The food was fresh & tasty - we wrapped up & went inside. We were asked for our cards, our book was stamped, we paid for 1 beer & went out still lost... At our NEXT stop, the barkeep explained that by Montana law, there's a 3 pour limit & a lot of larger places uses cards to track pours (aha!) & a strict 8pm cut off for taps - which we came waaay too close to!
