This space is inside a home so it's a bit confusing to find at first, but when you walk in - OMG! It is so relaxing, tranquil, and clean. Ramona is AMAZING! She is caring, so friendly, knowledgeable, and she really makes you feel so immediately comfortable :) Her prices are very fair as well. I had a electro-cauterization done and it was $150 for 6 spots - though she got a few extra in! Her dogs are also so friendly and really create such an awesome atmosphere. A little background on me: I am a thirty year old that has never dealt with acne until the last 6-9 months. Of course, I had the occasional breakout, but it was nothing compared to the sea of pimples and cystic acne I now see all around my chin. I just left my first facial with Kate. This was by far the most thorough facial I have ever had. There are ups and downs in the facial: soothing, relaxing creams to tingly AF creams that make your skin feel like it's burning for a few seconds. The extractions were bad and hurt like hell. I see Kate, and even though the reviews rave about how amazing the other estheticians are, my vote for skin guru goes to her. She has taken my skin from dull and dry, with signs of aging and random breakouts, to the best skin I have EVER had in my adult life. I've had 3 facials with her now, and will see her monthly for as long as she'll have me. Before my first facial she did a free consult, looked at my skin, gave me some samples and then texted to check on me. She won me over instantly, and I have never looked back. This place is a solid skincare place. First, they have amazing air conditioning, so it will remain cool in the summer. It is incredibly clean and well-maintained. I've been here twice, for two 30 minute facials, each with different estheticians. Both were wildly different facials. One was more "clinical" and the other was more relaxing. I liked the more "clinical" facial better, as I felt that my skin was left with better results, not feeling as oily afterwards. Each facial used way different products. They will send you home with a ton of sample products if you want. I am a cranky old person who likes what I like (and have probably tried every possible product due to my facial addiction in my 20s) and get tired of the up sell. But small places need to make those sales happen, since as well all know, skincare is crazy expensive. I have also had an underarm and eyebrow wax. My eyebrows are wacky. They are more length than anything, and do not behave. They turned out ok; they are tricky because if you trim them or give an arch normal on anyone else, it will look like they were gnawed on in my sleep. I can't fault them for that on the first go around. But they have some uneven spots in them, and aren't as spot on as some places I've had in the past, who have wowed me first time out. read more

Wow. Kia is a miracle worker. I've had facials before that I thought were good, but this was on another level. My skin has been inexplicably freaking out over the last six months. It's always been dry, but recently it started breaking out all over my chin as well. I had a facial at Gene Juarez about four months ago, desperate to correct the problem. They recommended that I get a Clarisonic to exfoliate daily as I cleanse in conjunction with a serum and facial moisturizer. I did all three, dropping mega bucks in the process. Two months later, my skin still sucked and I found myself at Shine Clinical Skin Care via an Amazon Local deal, which was for a one hour mircoderm facial. My experience was fantastic from the moment I stepped in the door. Kia is seriously amazing. She charges by time, not by service, which means that she will tailor your facial to what your skin actually needs, including any and all services within an hour, without up-charging you for additional services. I should mention that this is a clinical facial, not a "spa/relaxation" facial. There is a big difference - this type of facial is designed to dramatically improve skin rather than smell nice, be soothing, etc. If you want results, this is the only way to go. I was eager to purchase any products that Kia recommended because I was pretty desperate, however she refused to let me purchase anything without testing it out first (!!!) and loaded me up with samples. Two days after my facial and using the sample products she gave me, my skin was about 95% improved. Three weeks and one more facial later, I have essentially perfect skin. Got an Essential Facial for a birthday present, so I came here about a week ago for my first facial ever, with Kia. I had recently finishing up a round of antibiotics (which I had been prescribed for strep throat) that has messed with my skin and I needed some help before I went on a trip! Kia was great. Since this was my first facial, I can't really compare it to other experiences I've had. But, objectively speaking, I think it was pretty awesome. Kia understood that I was a Facial Noobie and she explained each process she was taking me through, which I really appreciated. I will DEFINITELY be coming back -- it's a new found guilty pleasure. I heard of Kate from a girl at my gym. I struggled with bad hormonal acne for over a year and Kate completely reset my face! Even my boyfriend has told people about my "mini peels" being a miracle. After my first appointment, I didn't even get a pimple in the two months between appointments. After not having a clear face for so long, I couldn't believe it. This is a long overdue review!!! I have been seeing Ramona for more than a year now and have been so very happy with every single treatment she has given me. I started seeing her during my second pregnancy very early on, and with regular treatments, persistence, and individualized attention to my needs and what was possible during a pregnancy, Ramona really helped keep my skin under control as I went through the pregnancy hormone roller coaster.
