I used to pay around $24, and I've always come here without thinking twice--my husband introduced me to this place, so it was my go-to spot. Well... this was my last time here. To be clear--everyone is kind and super helpful. They always greet you with a smile, and if you have to wait, there are huge, comfy loveseats to relax in. Honestly, their service is fast. Last time, I walked in, got help immediately, and was done in less than 10 minutes. The tech even showed me exactly what punctured the tube before wrapping up. Less than 15 minutes, and I was out the door. So when he told me $34, I tried to justify it--maybe the tube itself costs more now? But when I got in my car and actually checked my receipt, the tube was only $1 more than my old one. What really cost more? $20 for installation. Wow. That's just too much, I'm sorry. Super cool stories and years of experience when it comes to bikes. He used to be a pro and has awesome tips.
