I have also experienced delays when retrieving packages: I find a delivery‑notice slip in my mailbox, go to the staff to get the package, and then sometimes wait longer than expected before the staff can help me due to notarty customers. These recurring issues make the visit inconvenient and frustrating. I hope the owner will relocate or better manage the drop‑off bin, address staffing during peak notary times, and improve package pickup procedures. I cannot recommend this business.

It's been 1.5 MONTHS since I mailed it out, and it's still stuck in customs ON ITS WAY BACK TO ME. During this time, we actually went back to the consulate and re-notarized the exact same docs. Sending it out this time with Fedex or DHL. I went to the Bayview USPS at 1300 Evans, and they were actually a bit more helpful. They looked at the receipt and said the West Portal office missed some things I was supposed to fill out. For example, I needed to put a dollar value, even if it's $1. Also, I can't just write "documents" in the item description - it needed to be a lot more specific (what the docs are, how many pages, etc). The 1300 Evans office explained that it was on the agent to double check and make sure I filled out the forms correctly. Yeah, no one here did that. I'm not sure if I can trust USPS again. I've been hearing from people about their own horror stories with USPS. Someone's package got sent to SF, then went to Oakland and San Jose, before coming back to SF again... it literally went on a joyride around the Bay Area! But if I MUST use USPS again, I'd probably go to the 1300 Evans branch - they're bigger and way more knowledgeable.
