Total bate and switch on the website. Shows a box of a dozen doughnuts and says 2x of this type 2x if this type ext. Total 12 doughnuts. All of $10. Then it says $10 plus $10. My wife and I went in to get two dozen of the sprinkled cherry donuts for a party. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We took of all their sprinkled donuts but needed more. They paused what they were doing to add sprinkles to rest of the donuts we chose! The donuts were soft and delicious, by the way. read more

I stopped by Shipley's Donuts and bought some donuts, which were fine... nothing special, but decent. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was being charged $0.75 for a cup of tap water. Charging for bottled water is one thing, but refusing to provide free tap water to a paying customer is just plain greedy. It's a small thing, but it says a lot about a business's priorities. Placed an online order at 4:18 Thursday night. Email confirmed the order and pick up time of 4:45. Got to the store right at 4:45 and the door was locked! The 'open' sign was still lit, so I decided to call them. Finally got an answer after calling 13 times! Was promptly told by Jason, "oh sorry we're closed!" Asked him if they are closed why did they accept the online order and charge my credit card? Was told, "the order will have to be cancelled in order to refund you." I said ok, then, cancel the order. Jason responded, "there's nothing I can do about it". Complaint has been logged with corporate and I will never set foot in Shitley's again! I hope they go out of business!! read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the Do-Nuts at this location. Growing up in Houston, Shipley's was the best. The donuts that are being served here are nowhere near to the quality of donuts found in Texas. They're completely different and felt like they were mostly air. Their weight was wrong, the texture was crunchy, and the flavor felt like something you'd buy that came in a box at a grocery store. Went here in the late afternoon so I didn't expect them to taste super fresh. I though the maple frosting was the best. It had the most flavor. The dough was not flakey at all but wouldn't put it in in the top tier of donut shops. They have a special donut for dogs which they gave for free. read more

If you love your family, but them donuts and kolaches on Fridays. Wow. I didn't want to deal with kids fighting over flavors, so I did the unthinkable. I ordered a half dozen of a single flavor. No problem! The chocolate iced is perfectly fried and the chocolate icing is creamy and satisfying. And because we are all about our #gainz, we topped off the treat with protein. The kolaches include a sausage wrapped with a soft and savory roll. Cheese comes standard. If you like it with a hint of spice, there's an option to also include jalapeños. 1/2 dozen of kolaches and 1/2 dozen of donuts = 4 full, happy people and $33. read more

I know Colorado is more expensive than Houston but this place is charging wayyyyyyyy too much for their donuts. I thought it was just inflation but recently went to Shipleys in Houston. $13.49 for a dozen of glazed donuts and tasted amazing. Compared to 23.99 here, no discount for bulk purchase and the donuts were smaller. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas. Sadly I will not be returning to Shipleys in Colorado. Passing through Colorado Springs on my way home, I was welcomed to see a Shipley Do-Nuts so close to the Drury Inn & Suites hotel where I stayed. I'm a huge Shipley Do-Nuts fan! The store is amazing, and the donuts are fantastic. I even grabbed a few extra for the road. I wish the quality of service I experienced during my visit to the Interquest location could be found at some of the bigger donut shops. The general manager went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were taken care of before hitting the road. read more

Shipley is good. Their raised donuts base is a bit too bready for us. We prefer Amy's and King Sooper's for their softness. We fell in love with their buttermilk/cake donuts, but the size varies. Today's were tiny. The kolaches are good, but it tastes like the same base dough. They are good porportions, but the flavor of the cheese and meats are lacking in flavor. They seem like mostly egg. They were not over or under cooked. We'll stick to Amy's and King Soopers, but may return for the buttermilk if they get the size more consistent. read more

I ordered the cinnamon roll today. It's bread-ey and the fluffy nature of a quality, properly fried donut was missing. I suspect that either the fryer wasn't properly heated up or the fry time wasn't rapid enough. It's like that have smeared a sugar glaze over a piece of bread. While the donuts here are superior to Dunkin across the street (an east feat), they're nowhere the caliber of the highest standard: LaMar's on 6th Avenue East, in Denver.
