This is a good go to instead of your generic dunkin or krispy kreme. Donuts are soft and chewy, love the glazed ones. However we got too excited with an entire dozen, took more than a few days to finish and became soggy. I recommend to finish donuts in 2-3 days before the sugar melts and becomes watery. Plus, they have a convenient drive thru window so you don't even have to step out of your car to pick up some delicious donuts. I love that Shipley's donuts are fluffy and light. As is becoming customary, I came to Shipley's for some kolaches. I have cometo this Shipley's many a times before because it is very clean and the service is always excellent. Today, they did not disappoint. I ordered my kolaches and got a bonus of some 10 donut holes for free. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The kolaches here are pretty good, although they don't have a variety like many other places. Year, you can get the regular sausage, sausage and jalapeño, ham and cheese, sausage jalapeño and cheese. All very good and, of course, you can get donuts. Plus good coffee to go. Good place for a quick snack. read more

The staff was SUPER friendly. They have a drive thru which is cool. I went around 11am. The donuts were just "eh". For ~$7 I got half a dozen donuts. They weren't horrible at all! Just not my favorite. I think there r better places to get them. Maybe warm them up for better flavor? I'm not sure. read more

I live in California and wanted to have these birthday donuts (pictured below) to my family member. The employees/owners were super approachable, friendly, and responded very promptly in order to help me make this happen. I was able to do this all through FB Messenger which was great! They also allowed me to include a note to attach with the donuts which was an extra perk I was not expecting at all. I am beyond happy with what a paid for and will definitely be placing more orders with them in the future. I thought I was limited to one place in town who is known for their lettering and custom donut orders however, I wasn't thrilled with that option because while they look fun, they never taste fresh. I decided to ask if Shipley by chance did custom orders and I was absolutely thrilled to find out they do! Not only do they do the letters and numbers, but they are freshly made upon pick up. You can never go wrong with a classic glazed Shipley donut! It was such a great experience working with the team. Although the donuts look delicious, I ordered eight. Two of each and I said it would be fine IF she could fit all of them in one box. She said she could and then handed me the box. Ordered 4 kolaches, 2 glazed donuts plus 6 donut holes through the drive thru this morning. Family member took 2 kolaches and the donut holes to work. I opened the bag to find that Shipleys charged us for two but left one of the donuts out of the order. Just as well as the one donut I got was very old, past stale and dried out, hard as a rock. Gathered my courage and attempted one bite and all I could taste was old grease. Two would have taken up twice the space in my trash. The kolaches are ok if you love bread with a tiny sausage buried in there somewhere with a tiny bit of cheese stuck to it. The best thing I had for breakfast this morning was the mustard out of my fridge to dip the bread in. Disgusting food and a waste of $, time and gas. read more

Great donuts! I personally try not to indulge myself to often with donuts, but MAN! When I do, this is the spot. Shirley's is a Texas institution that anyone visiting the area needs to try. I would like to thank the two young gentlemen that work the drive-thru. I appreciate that they always get my order right. They also have the best customer service, I have experienced in a long time! Now a days youngsters simply nod and can care less to converse or simply say "have a great day" so keep it up guys!! Now let's talk donuts and kolaches they are definitely made fresh daily you can taste and feel how soft and fluffy the dough comes out. My only complaint is the sausage links are too small but if you love carbs the dough makes up for it. Pre pandemic when I would go into the shop everything was nice and clean. Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast. Place was nice and clean. My kiddo and husband said the kolache's were amazing. The donuts were fresh made. I had the Boston cream donut and enjoyed it a lot. my daughter had the vanilla sprinkled donut and a strawberry sprinkle doughnut but preferred the vanilla sprinkled donut. The gentleman at the counter was very polite he even brought out some fresh hot glazed donuts for us to try. They also had cake donuts but we did not try them. Recommend you to try it. read more
