They looked over her car at 105k Lexus after the dealer told her that it needed $4700.00 worth of work( you know like flush this and that and you need to replace your front control arms just in case. You know all the usual unnecessary stuff they push). She of course did not take the bait and left the dealer and came over here to just get done what really needed to be done...and guess what. Like we suspected the car is in perfect shape and yes there is little wear but certainly not near needing front end suspension replaced. I love these folks.

Not only were they able to secure my battery in place but they also checked the status of the battery and showed and explained what was actually going on with the battery. I had been curious about this auto shop for a while now because I live so close by so that's why I…read morewent. I came in and asked for my signal light to be replaced as well as my oil and filter changed. I was told it would be ready the next day since I came in around lunch time. I brought the supplies required but I brought the wrong bulb so they used their own which is fine. I just don't know in what world it is okay to charge 79$ for a signal light replacement EVEN IF they used their own light. I bought the wrong one but they're not selling bulbs for more than 10$ at the auto store. As for the oil and oil filter I do understand I have a diesel so I'm always charged more but 99$ feels like a lot especially since I brought my own things. Everyone I told about these prices said they said it was overpriced. I don't really know much about cars or what things cost in this area which is why I was asking all my friends but I'm not coming back because I feel like it was pretty pricey and this was with a 20$ discount from the mailer.. I'm kinda disappointed because I really wanted to support a small business but never mind. They did get the work done and were very nice so this is why I gave 4 stars. These guys saved my engine…read more I had some unusual noises after repairs. Chris suggested checking the water pump and discovered the timing belt was close to breaking. I had the both the water pump and timing belt replaced at a dealership just over a year ago and was shocked that the dealership had improperly installed the timing belt. Fortunately Chris and the mechanics at the Auto Doc caught the timing belt before it broke. Highly recommend.

The communication throughout the experience was terrible, and I felt like I was getting the runaround every time I talked to someone over the phone. I went to the shop to speak with someone directly about an hour before closing time on the second day and they had already closed for the day. They still charged me for the diagnostic with no results, stating that the mechanic would need more time to find the leak. At that point even if they found the leak there was no way I was going to trust them to repair it. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend them because they have poor communication and time management skills

I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). I have a 2013 VW Touareg TDI. I purchased some bad diesel from a nearby Shell station which caused…read morethe engine light to come on and the car to operate in the limp mode. I went to four different repair shops (three German car specialists and one dealer). Each did a standard diagnostic check using software (easy to do) and declared that the car was most likely irreparable. Cyprus VW even told me to simply donate the car, telling me that repair would cost about $14,000. Phil from European Cars suggested that I go to Heights Autohaus. (Phil was not one of the four by the way but someone whose advice I trusted). Heights Autohaus repaired the car. The cost was not cheap, but certainly less than $14,000 and the cost of a new car. My impression is that they employ real mechanics/service people who can look past what the computer tells them and determine what can be done to fix the issue. Of course these guys can do standard repairs like brakes and oil changes, but their real talent appears to be actually resolving more complex repairs that others will not or cannot touch.

The moment I picked up my car, it started making noise. I had to bring it back four different times, and each visit I was given a different explanation. The final excuse was that the noise was coming from the brakes they "didn't replace" and that it was just a coincidence. That explanation made no sense. When I asked for a refund, they raised their voices and were rude instead of taking responsibility. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. Their attitude changed completely once there was an issue. I would not return and would not recommend this shop.
