Bay Area Efficient movers These guys are definitely deserving a 5-star review. We moved from San Mateo to Sunnyvale in November, here is our experience. I found BAEM on a Facebook forum and contacted them for a quote. Adam provided me with a clear summary of the charges on Yelp and then on the phone. The final amount they charged us was very close to his estimate, even though we had more stuff to move than they anticipated - no hidden charges! During our conversation he also gave me all necessary details, explained the rates and timeline. Move day All 3 movers arrived at the exact time mentioned in our contract. They were wearing masks, respected Covid-19 guidelines and were extremely careful with our belongings. Maxim asked how we want to proceed; we discussed a couple of things and they started to work. I was in shock - they were working SUPER FAST. Our boxes that we packed with my husband beforehand disappeared and were loaded into the truck in minutes. They wrapped all the furniture with fabric they brought to keep it safe and clean, they also took good care of monitors, TV and other fragile items. The move ended well within the estimated time that was promised to us. Nothing was lost, damaged or broken! They furniture was carefully reassembled and put exactly where we wanted it. This is my 2nd time using BAEM. They really are an awesome moving company. I never thought I would say that until I worked with this company. Adam is always very quick to respond out of the gate and then the movers themselves have all been so great. I missed giving a 5-star review and a shout out to the BAEM guys who moved me last year, but they were incredible. I had different movers this time and they were equally awesome! Alex and Will did an incredible job helping us with our move! They packed everything super cleanly, and tightly into a truck that turned out to be the perfect fit for the job, but looked like it might have only fit half of our things and required two trips. They were able to get all of our things onto the truck and do our move from San Bruno to San Jose in a single trip. They were very careful with all of our things. They took the time to wrap all of our furniture neatly in plastic wrap and pad everything including our large flatscreen TV so that everything arrived in perfect condition. They were really friendly guys with great hardworking attitudes, and were true professionals who have a real skill and consideration for helping their customers. We had a great experience with BAEM. We had a team of 4 movers, and they worked very efficiently. They finished with our complete move of a 3 bed house to another 3 bed house 7 miles away in 3.5 hours total. That was definitely faster than we had expected! And it was raining, but they never complained. They asked for clarification on every piece of furniture, and put it in exactly how we wanted it....even when that meant moving things around again a few times as we figured it out. They were friendly and took direction very well. Adam was really friendly and helpful as I made the reservation, and as I emailed him with questions before the move. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they arrived late "due to traffic." We had an appointment for them to come between 8-9am, and they arrived at 10:30. They were so efficient, though, it didn't matter in the end. We were still finished sooner than we expected. read more

I had a great experience Witt BAEM. I requested a quote for a last minute move and Adam got back to me write away. We communicated all via email and everything was clear and logical. My team, Ermek, Sahib, and Oljas, was ready to work and didn't hesitate to ask any questions. Unfortunately they arrived an hour late due to the Bay Area traffic, but called me twice with an update. Upon arrival, I toured the apartment with the team and then they got to work. I stayed around to help direct and move a bunch of little things and then made 2 runs on my own, and upon my return, it looked like the team made huge progress. I drove them to my new spot and they unloaded quickly and carefully. All my items were protected and my team was extremely careful. A few important notes: I dismantled a lot of my own furniture the night before to expedite the process. I have never hired movers before, but my first experience was awesome. The more organized you are, the faster it will work. The prices were reasonable, however, my 2 bedroom apartment took 4.5 hours to move. My team was friendly and on point. So if you're like me and hate moving I can say I'm so glad that I found these guys on Yelp. Out of all the quotes I received this was easily the best bang for your buck. Everything was included in the hourly rate- labor, packing, packing materials, truck, gas, insurance, etc. Uplasksh and Dennis helped me move out of a studio from a high-rise to a new apartment across town. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They showed up on time and immediately got to work, helping me pack the rest of my stuff once we entered my apartment. Dennis was able to drop off boxes earlier in the week after I booked them so I can pre-pack a lot of stuff beforehand. After packing up the truck and securing my belongings down, we arrived at my new place where they just as quickly moved my things into the new apartment. They were especially helpful in moving/ laying out the furniture in the new bedroom. Efficient yet careful with your stuff. Amazing! Adam was so easy to coordinate with. We had 2 great guys complete a very big move in 3.5 hours. The rate was extremely fair and the guys took good care of all of our belongings. BAEM made my move today absolutely seamless. They were hustling the entire time, were completely professional, and treated out furniture with the utmost care. Sid and Al came and helped me. I needed them to pack my uBox (uHaul) and they did a FANTASTIC job. They were both careful to pack items in the order I needed. They communicate with each other constantly to coordinate each trip from the apartment to the shipping unit - impressive. Sid and Al were masters at maximizing every square inch of the uBox which was important. These guys were always very professional and paid very careful attention to how they loaded the uBox in order to maximize the space. They even tossed a few items out for me that were much to heavy/awkward-sized for me to handle myself. Very affordable and easy to work with. (these guys don't get tired! Amazing!) Nick and Uplaksh (?) helped us move today from a 2 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment. They took apart our beds and wrapped up all of our furniture for our move. It took a bit longer than what was quoted even with us packing most of our things but they worked very hard and long moving all of our things especially because our apartment didn't have a big elevator to hold big furniture items. read more

Really efficient, quick, and helpful! Moved from a studio apartment in one part of SF to the other side of SF in a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. Despite being delayed by other moves earlier in the day, the whole process was seamless, the movers were courteous, and they worked diligently into the night while making sure nothing was damaged. Not only did they provide boxes and dollies, they had all the tools needed for any kind of disassembly. They even made sure to wrap all of the large furniture and fragile items to ensure everything was alright. They delivered great customer service at one of the most affordable rates you can find in the Bay Area. The team did a fantastic job. Not only were were we able to book them on pretty short notice, they ended up having to deal with bringing some bigger furniture up on a forklift due to some narrow stairs. They handled the unexpected situation wonderfully. They were super fast and efficient and never slowed down - they were working hard every step of the way. We ended up hiring a different company later in the week for a different job because BAEM was booked, and the movers from the other company were so much slower. It really put into perspective how great the three guys from BAEM were. Will definitely come back to this company if I need to move again in the future. read more

We had two people who came over to help us move..boy were they quick and efficient. They brought plenty of boxes, tape and wrapping materials. They wrapped all the big items like sofa/computer tables to avoid attracting scratches and were very understanding even though we went well over the time that we thought we would need them for. I had a really good experience with BEAM. They packed my whole apartment - including disassembling my bed. They even made an extra stop at another apartment to pick up another full Load of boxes. For the whole time I didn't have to worry about anything. They made a stressful moving weekend much easier for me. I moved last weekend - one of the record hottest day in SF history and felt really sorry that the two movers had to carry all the heavy furniture a up 3 floors. But they did such a fantastic job. We moved from SF to the peninsula. Last minute we decided to get some movers to help us out. BAEM was able to get us 3 movers in less than 48 hours in advance. They were also very flexible, with us doing a 2-into-1 move. They showed up maybe a few minutes late, but they were able to pack both places in less than 2 hours total. We had most stuff in boxes already, with just a little furniture and no disassembly needed, but we have a LOT of stuff. They made sure to wrap all the furniture thoroughly, so nothing was damaged, and the wardrobe boxes were really useful. After a 45 min drive (and driving time is doubled to include the return trip), it took only about 1 hour to unload everything. All in all, we're so glad we got movers. BAEM made the day so much less stressful, so now we actually have time and energy left for the rest of the day! read more

The owner was was very communicative and quick to respond. Their men arrived on time, were very friendly and worked fast and effectively.
