Great pub-style/american food and great service! We started off with a clam chowder and nachos with chili, both were amazing and super filling. My boyfriend was planning to order a lobster roll but they had just ran out so we both ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. We were too full and satisfied to entertain a dessert menu. I loved the window view of the harbor and want to come back in the summer to sit out on the patio.

This amazing restaurant for food and drinks but the view on the water seeing boats pass by only feet from our table! The waiter was very attentive and great at his job. We had Halloween candy and voting for the carved pumpkins lined up! Very impressed and definitely will be back and try other choices for food!

Beautiful night in Scituate so we ate on the outdoor deck right on the water. The view at the restaurant is 10/10 and the perfect location if you're looking for some watering dining. We started off with the shrimp cocktail and the four shrimp were large and tasted great. Not a bad appetizer at all. I order the blackened swordfish which came with rice and green beans. The rice was nothing special and the green beans were decent. The blackened swordfish was good but the portion was exceptionally tiny, especially with the price tag that came with it. Others ordered the fish and chips and a fish sandwich. Both of them were very good and the fries were expertly cooked. The fish was flaky and tasty and the sandwich and fish and chips both had a reasonable portion of fish. The service was attentive and friendly.

    Not a special raw bar.

I typically do not put out negative reviews, however Mill Wharf earned it. On the 3-4 occasions we have come the older woman at the front desk is surly. No acknowledgement, never says hello I'll be right with you, on the phone ignoring you, it appears she is a manager or owner. a poor example of hospitality for the young servers. The food was mediocre at best. The gentleman who served us was nice. The ambiance of being on the water is not worth it. The drinks are good. We will not be returning.

It was a beautiful day out so outdoor seating was not available. They said the wait was over 30 minutes. Indoor seating was available immediately however. Our waitress said they were very understaffed, and it was apparent from the service, which was very slow. Appreciated her letting us know to manage expectations. The burgers were fine but the fish tacos smelled very fishy (not fresh). They do have a parking lot.

    Delicious fish and mashed potatoes.

The service here was fantastic, best New England clam chowder I've had. Staff was extremely friendly.

Getting better. Get rid of the old couch. It's gross. And do better music. But lots of nice new people

To start, the service was awesome, the waitresses were down to earth but made sure we had everything we needed and then some- including some extra chips to bring home with our unfinished buffalo chicken dip. The place was as the name suggests...snug. But the intimate environment was all the better with the live entertainment! Nothing really beats watching a local artist playing acoustic guitar and singing "You've Got a Friend in Me" over some good eats. I ordered the Cape Cod Rueban which is your typical Rueban toppings but a golden fried filet of haddock, on a toasted brioche bun. I was honestly blown away by this sandwich. All the ingredients were so fresh. Both of us were very satisfied with the quality of the food, the huge portions, and the reasonable bill compared to other establishments in the area. For all this plus 2 drinks, we were looking at $70. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely stop in again to try some new entrees!

The Snug is taking a stand for the neighborhood pub. A bar three rows deep where you can get a well-poured Guinness on tap and listen to live music. Servers are all polite. The lean into the neighborhood piece is for real -- I think I saw a high school date there one time. Food is pub fare. Steak tips and burgers are go-to's. Don't try to look for fancy, please don't. Deconstructed chicken pot pie would just be wrong.
