White wine slushie with cherry boba

White wine slushies with cherry boba, it was more important than the food for me!!! You can have one with dinner and take one to go. It's a big place, the bathrooms are upstairs.

After having a few wine, my wife and I looked at each other and said we better get something to eat before we have more wine samples It was the closest place. It seemed reasonable enough and the food was actually pretty good. The moral of the story if you're out to drink a lot of wine stop at this place and have something to eat before you go or do that.

I ordered the buttery garlic shrimp scampi and the whole bowl was just covered in olive oil. The service wasn't the most friendly, with them giving us some attitude. I thought that the inside was cool but an inconvenience with the bathrooms being on the 2nd floor.

This place is massive! No doubt they fill up too, as this is one of the main (if not the only?) restaurants in Egg Harbor. Downstairs you'll find all high-tops and a large bar area, and on the second floor are low-tops with plenty of room for group seating. We came here on a visit to town with some friends and our kids. Being sat upstairs was perfect, as it's super spacious. My son enjoyed his fish n' chips from the kids menu, which we ordered right away and it was brought to us soon after. A few brews were ordered around the table as well - they have a solid selection of their own beers, along with hard cider and seltzers. My husband and I split a burger, the Jolly Roger I think it was called? Basically the spicer option of the burgers with jalapenos, chipotle aioli, and pepper jack cheese. The flavor was great, but the burger itself was just ok. It was a fairly thin patty, and they're all cooked to the same temp, so it seemed a bit overdone. Bun was also meh. Loved the homemade-style, thick kettle chips on the side though! Our server was sweet and attentive, and the atmosphere was nice. I'd probably give it another go and try something else on their vast menu.

So dry for white fish $27 just horrible.

The food was so dry and over cooked for the price. There is not enough staff to run this place. Skip it don't waste your money and the beer is watery.

    Flight of beer.

We stopped there for lunch and ate outside. Service was average, but, unfortunately, so was the food. Not bad, just "Meh".

The food was…read moremostly good, the setting--we sat outside on their deck--is stunning, and the service was good. I was having lunch with my husband and a friend of ours. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, my husband ordered the Whitefish Tacos, and my friend ordered two appetizers as her meal--the guac and the ceviche. She also ordered a cocktail--I think the margarita (I remember she said she wanted salt). My husband liked his tacos quite a bit, but one odd thing is that the lunches come with either fries or watermelon. As he isn't a watermelon fan, he got the fries, which is the odd thing is having fries with tacos. But as someone who is really picky about her fries, these were very good--fresh and hot. The Ahi Tacos were also very good. For $20, I would've like maybe more than two tacos, but since I ate a lot of his fries, I wasn't starving. And I do realize food prices have not been going down... My friend's guac was fine, but her ceviche was not ceviche. The first time it came out, it was green--it looked exactly like the guac, so she sent it back, explaining that one should be able to see the fish and it shouldn't be green (and she tasted it--whatever it was, it was not ceviche). The second time, it was certainly fish, but it was more like a fish salad, but it did not have the acid in it that one expects in ceviche, as that is what "cooks" the fish. She said it tasted it fine, but just not--yeah, I've said this a bunch--ceviche. Oh, and her cocktail was fine. We will definitely go back next time we're up that way. On a sunny day, it would be gorgeous. Our day was a bit iffy, and we were lucky--we got our bill just as it began to rain, so we were able to duck under the covered bar to settle up, have a brief convo with the bartender, and went downstairs to the Chocolate Chicken to get a piece of chocolate (my husband's and friend's chocolate was fine--I'm a pain in the neck, and I wanted darker chocolate with more pecans!) and wait out the rain.

We came for the fish boil and returned for breakfast!…read more You can't visit Door County without experiencing a unique and traditional Fish Boil! We loved hearing the history behind the fish boil and watching it come to life at the Old Post Office Restaurant! The dinner and experience was very reasonably priced at $30 per person and they offer options of fried chicken or ribs for those that don't care for fish. I'm (personally) not a big fish lover but I had to at least try it and it wasn't too bad! Dinner is also served with 3 different types of bread and a slice of delicious cherry pie! (Cherries are grown all over the peninsula). We sat outside on the front porch and watched the sun slowly set and the sky fill up with brilliant colors as we finished our dinner. I left with both my belly and heart as full as possible! We enjoyed the restaurant so much that I wanted to stop by on our way out of town, the last day, and try out their breakfast menu. I splurged and ordered the fresh cherry pancakes with a side of one egg and bacon. I planned to just eat half of my pancakes but I almost devoured them completely! My mouth is watering - several days later - as I am thinking about them and writing this review. I highly recommend the Old Post Office if you are in the area. Unfortunately you have to call the restaurant to make reservations but it's definitely worth the little bit of extra effort.
