Our 1st time visiting this place was April 2018, during that historic snowstorm. We were out here from Seattle house hunting that week. Now that we have moved to Sturgeon Bay and are now "locals", we decided to go back and visit Brick Lot for lunch. It was much quieter at lunch time versus later evening like the last plan we were there. The server was very friendly, our table was clean. We opted to sit near the garage door facing the sidewalk and street so we could people watch. :) We decided to order one Perch sandwich and 1 Cuban sandwich with a side of French Fries. Both sandwiches were awesome and the French fries appear to be freshly made on site with the potato skin still on which is the way we like them and they were cooked to the edge of golden Brown. This is obviously a locals only bar. And the worst overly muddled Old Fashioned ever! Yuck. The bartender was rude and could not be bothered with helping us determine if there was an open seat at the bar or not. If you're from out of town, do not go here. We stopped for lunch today, our first visit. Two servers, the place was not full. We went to the bar, placed our food order with Jennifer, and took our drinks outside. Neither one of them gave us a further look even though my husband held up his glass for a refill. After 25 minutes of waiting for our food, my husband went in to see why the long wait. Turns out Jennifer NEVER PUT THE ORDER IN. My husband was furious. The other server said incredulously, "You're complaining about waiting 25 minutes for your food?!?!?!" Food comes out quickly when you order at 9pm! Would have given 4 stars, but the teriyaki wings were SOOO salty. But after a day of tasting sweet wine I was pretty tolerant of them. We took a day trip to Sturgeon Bay and this place had a good vibe so we checked it out. More than anything, I can say the service was fantastic! Both of the gals helping us were so friendly and took great care of us. I got a cheese curd burger and it was pretty good. The only thing holding me back from saying it was great was the ranch dressing. It seemed a little heavy for the burger. My husband had the club and it was really good. My friends and I were looking for a place to eat with a fun atmosphere in downtown Sturgeon, but what we got was a bar with ear-splitting music, standard food, and abysmal service. We were repeatedly forgotten about and had to ask the bartenders to order and get the check. The food was okay, but there are places with better variety and atmospheres nearby. Our first clue was when kitchen staff was pulled to work the floor, got into an argument with the bartender and the "spicy sentence enhancers" flew. We had already gotten drinks. Wanted to walk right then and there. One poor guy was stuck working the entire front of house by himself. We ordered perch plates. They were burnt to a crisp, coated in salt, and really awful. Stopped in after a morning of shopping and was pleasantly surprised when we entered as we were one of two couples in the establishment and were promptly seated and served. Came here for a late night bite since we forgot that Wisconsin closes early for pretty much everything and we got into town late. Food was pretty good for their abbreviated menu of appetizers. We got the pulled pork nachos and pretzels. Highlight was definitely the pretzels. The staff was straightforward not overly attentive but let us hang out and enjoy. They have one of those garage doors that open in the warmer months so I would recommend checking them out during the busy/warm season. They also had spotted cow which is always a bonus in my opinion. read more

Great atmosphere, great service and very good food. My wife and I ate here late on our first night in Sturgeon Bay, and returned three nights later with our teen and adult sons because the burgers (and patty melt!) were more than worth a second look. Both times we sat at a table next to the open garage door facing the street . . . great breeze on late June evenings. I read a description of the staff as "straightforward", which is very a propos. My husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant because of the open air concept. We had not eaten in a restaurant since February. We were taken aback when the server came to our table wearing her mask under her nose. We were even more surprised when she came to our table the second time wearing her mask under her chin. Our food took over a half hour to arrive and when she brought it to our table she was not wearing a mask at all!! This establishment claims to be following the CDC guidelines but in fact is not! We went there today during Harvest Festival to get lunch. The food was very sub par. I ordered chicken salad with chips and my sister had the Marco Polo with chips. The chips were overcooked and had a burnt taste. My chicken salad sandwich tasted like it was made with canned chicken. I don't know if it really was canned, fresh, or frozen chicken, but it tasted bad. My sister did not like the bun nor the vinaigrette on her sandwich. It was just a disappointing meal. The home made French fries were good. The chips were good. The supposedly smoked pork loin barbecue was 3-4 slices about one eighth inch thick and came without bbq sauce. I am not sure if these folks understand what bbq actually is. We asked about the chicken and it took 10 minutes conversation to find out the chicken in the bbq basket was grilled breast strips, which we did not order. The pork loin was dry, overcooked, tasteless--think shoe leather. My mushroom swiss burger contained the most tasteless hamburger I have ever eaten and I am 60 years old! I don't know where they get their meat, but it is not good. Backyard burger and Five Guys are far and away better places to get a hamburger. Frankly, a McDonald's Quarter Pounder is better by a multiple of 5. Draft Stella was $6. I guess this place should be regarded as a bar, only. For $30, including tip, it was a total disappointment. read more

Have a timeshare up here and we were visiting from Milwaukee area. Bartender was rude and skipping music we played. I put in at least $15. I figured that's the reason they had a jukebox was to play music but I guess not. Bar was a mess with empty glasses and napkins sitting there for hours. Showed up just after 9 on a Wednesday night and they were still serving food. Ordered a pork nacho app and 2 burger entrees with fries. Nachos were very good! Food and service were both excellent. Cheese curds were among the best I've had anywhere in the state. The server even made my son a chocolate milk.
