The food is sooooo salty! There is only one thing was not overly salty -- the pita bread, which was put in a plastic bag then onto the basket. You know that means the remaining bread pieces would be served to the next guest. The menu said the veggies combo would come with grilled vegetables which was the reason why I ordered it. Ha! Guess what, it didn't serve with the grilled vegetables. I asked the waiter and he said it was supposed to be crossed off the menu. He would bring me some grilled vegetables to make it up. Of course it came after we finished the meal (many salty things left uneaten). It was a boiled tomato with 1 tiny burnt spot. No seasoning at all, raw in the middle which is fine since it was a tomato. The tomato was not even sweet. Wow, we were just in awe how they managed to serve this as grilled vegetables. Well, at least it was not salty! How are the reviews so good for this place?! Is the chef on vacation? This is a first bad meal in LA ever! The ambiance is nice though. read more

The food is very authentic Lebanese and I know this because my husband is Lebanese. Service was very responsive: as it was tasting so good, we kept adding more and were able to do it quickly. The outside dining is the best, especially on a pleasant night. read more

This restaurant was soooooooooooooooo disappointing. Extremely overpriced, and pretty sure the dolma is canned. Portions are very small, and to top it all off, the grilled chicken and kebab are served on a bed of WHITE rice, not yellow, WHITE. If you are looking for some exotic food this is the place to be in North Hollywood. Service was great and they brought food nice and warm. They explained which dish was what and everything was delicious. From the outside the place doesn't look like much but they got great variety of food and drinks selection and ambiance was great for large party to hang out and have some hookah as well! read more

Good food made fresh and good service. They make it fresh for you and they fry things fresh. Falafel was great, Tabib was great, but was great hummus was great and water came from the bottle bottle. They open in front of you and not tapwater. The place was very clean. The parking was small so I'm wondering where people park Probably street parking at night. Restrooms were clean. Nice cute decoration outside. They have heat so people can sit outside. They always have a party and the singer, etc. My chicken pomegranate molasses dish was excellent. I ate it all till the last drop. I wanted to lick my dish but I was afraid I'll be arrested. Prices are within normal range and nothing scary. The best Lebanese food I've eaten since traveling over there, by a long shot. I've been looking for a Kibbeh Naye for years now and the one here was so fresh, just as I remember it growing up. Fried Kibbeh cooked to perfection and the Chicken Kebab was so juicy and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was very friendly and attentive. Zahle was such a gem of a find. First off, the place is so, so, so clean. Like, impressively spotless. We sat out on the patio, which was not only beautiful but also super well-maintained. There's a really calming fountain, Arabic music playing in the background, and the whole vibe felt peaceful and welcoming. Our server, David, was such a kind and warm person. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time and checking in. Really great service. They have parking when you turn in, which is always a plus, especially in this city. Now the food: absolutely delicious. We had the appetizer combo (grape leaves, hummus, falafel), and everything tasted so authentic, it reminded us of home and family. For mains: beef kafta and chicken kabob mashawi, 100/10. We finished with chai and Arabic coffee, and shared the ashta with pistachios and syrup for dessert, again, 100/10. Transport yourself to Lebanon at this awesome restaurant!! My Lebanese coworker brought us all here for their birthday & it was something I've never experienced. The food was so delicious & with huge sharing portions. The margaritas (watermelon) were SOO good!! The vibes & music playing + all the people dancing made this experience so amazing as someone who isn't too familiar with the culture, I still had a blast! I would only suggest having more air ventilation because the hookah smoke was a lot for us non smokers. Other than that the parking valet is only $5, not bad at all. I was existed to go back after they call it "remodeled" they painted inside and sitting outside in the patio was like sitting in a sauna food was okay but overpriced and you should never prep your kebenaye ahed of time because when I took a spoon full I noticed the meat was gray on the bottom. So I stopped eating it 6 plates of appetizer and meet plate over $600 dollars. we go to Hayat kitchen our bill never exceeds $220 with table full of food. Heard so much about this place in the past but never got around to trying it. Looks like a mom and pop place, service was great but then again we were the only other table besides a large group smoking hookah. Food was delicious, prices could be better and also some fresh bread or pita would be nice vs the pita out the bag they serve. Also would be nice if the water they serve wasn't from the tap (terrible taste). The pickled beets and cabbage they serve with your meal are yummy and they kept refilling that. read more

This place feels like HOME. The atmosphere, the hospitality, the music, they got it all right! The food was very good. We ordered the cheese roll, chicken liver, kafta and mixed grill combo. The beef kebab was my least favorite of it all, i found it a bit too chewy. The kafta was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The portions are big. Also they have a good alcohol selection, including Lebanese wine, beer and arak. We ordered the classic almaza beer which worked well with our meal. OH AND WE FORGOT OUR CREDIT CARD THERE. The owner was so kind, kept it for a day and called us multiple times to make sure we picked it up. My go to lebanese spot in LA. Cant wait to come back! P.S: they take reservations but dont open before 5pm due to covid restrictions. But they will fully open in june. read more

You get here the exotic raw meat dishes and stuffed intestins that are very hard to make. I appreciate the fact that the owner is trying hard to bring the authentic taste to Cali area.
