After talking to the waiter I opted for a Chicken Tindaloo which according to him was their hottest curry (although Pall is suppose to be hotter and listed on the menu). As always you have to goad them a bit as well otherwise they hold back on the spice. I was not disappointed in the least - I think this was pretty close to the hottest dish I have been served in a restaurant and it was fantastic! Otherwise; Service is excellent, prices are reasonable, menu is huge (so obivously you can order something less spice if you were so inclined) and portions are decent. I am an event…read moreorganizer and have set up many of these meals; Nitesh was an expert at making the experience seamless for us, and was the only restaurant manager who has asked me for a Zoom call ahead of time so we could walk through expectations, the timing of the night, and I could get a virtual walk through of the space. They were extremely considerate of our group's many dietary restrictions. And they have a very easy online booking system for group meals, where a large group dinner menu is selected by default but you can easily replace individual dishes. Not only was the preparation great, the execution was excellent. The whole evening was seamless and I felt like Nitesh or the other staff member were constantly just a wave away. The food was all excellent, and it dinner was served buffet style (while appetizers were served at the table, per our plan), clearly marked for dietary restrictions. We had a semi private space, meaning 90% private, with a TV screen and microphones for a fun presentation we did for our group. Cost came out to about £67 per person total, very reasonable. They had some nice cocktails I tried! Found this restaurant on Yelp after seeing such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! At first, I was nervous my friend and I wouldn't get a table due to how busy the restaurant was but since we were only two people, we had no issue getting a table. Seating is tight! You are almost arm to arm with the individuals sitting around you which I actually found to be a great experience. My friend and I ended up striking conversation with the people next to us which led to a fun dining experience. Service was quick! Ours had a random £15.75 added on in the middle of our string of main dishes. We hadn't noticed until we had already gotten back to our hotel, but seems a little suspect. This is the second time this has happened, once in another restaurant. Is this becoming a "London" thing? Also note their prices for beer and sodas published on their web menu vs what is on their physical menu in the restaurant. It's twice the amount in the restaurant for Kingfisher draft and for sodas.
