The dental assistants and technicians were outstanding, as well. My name was even listed on the board of the office to welcome me to their practice. Their waiting room is clean and videos are very educational, too. Dr Reza reviewed my x-rays and suggested treatment(s). Everything was completely on board and I felt no pressure regarding his suggestions. The follow-up visit involved repairing (3) of my existing resin tooth fillings (which I already knew were an issue) which has now been completed and I can't be any happier with the outcome of my experience. The only suggestion that I have is that additional signing for the (2) entrances at the back of the building from the parking lot would be helpful. When I asked the front desk clerk whether patients regularly consumed them in the waiting room she confirmed that, yes they do. When asked whether the waiting room was regularly cleaned to assess how much of a risk my child was in sitting in the chairs, she said they clean once daily. The staff did not seem concerned about the risk to my child. They also did not seem educated in preventing allergic reactions for future patients. The clinic was clean and the staff were polite albeit uneducated in food allergies. Those with a tree nut allergy be warned.

They placed a temporary crown that fell out after only two weeks. I have had temporary crowns before and have never experienced anything like this. When I called for an emergency appointment to have it fixed, they told me they had no availability and suggested I go to CVS to buy temporary tooth repair putty and fix it myself until their next available appointment. That is not the level of care I expect from a dental office. The billing issues have been even worse. After spending over a month going back and forth between the office and my insurance company, I discovered they had charged me more than $1,000 out of pocket for work my insurance had already paid for. On top of that, they billed me for two premium crowns that I never approved or received. I actually received standard porcelain crowns. Their explanation was that these were all "coding mistakes." To make matters worse, they acknowledged that they owe me a refund of over $800, but I was told I have to wait seven days because the person who processes refunds, Kristie, is on vacation. Between the poor dental work, lack of emergency care, repeated billing errors, and the inconvenience of waiting for money that should never have been charged in the first place, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want quality dental care and accurate billing.

When I went back to the previous dentist and asked for help, I was told there was nothing wrong, even though I was in so much pain that I couldn't eat meat or anything that wasn't very soft for 3 months. After months of no relief and 2 additional fillings fell out I decided to see Dr. Azer, and I am so glad I did. From the very beginning, he truly listened to my concerns. When the problem wasn't immediately obvious, he didn't dismiss me. He asked thoughtful questions that helped guide him to the root of the issue. He reassured me that my pain was real. Dr. Azer took the time to clearly explain the plan, walk me through my options, and set realistic expectations about when I should feel relief and when I should be concerned if symptoms persisted. That same day, after fixing my broken fillings and correcting the issues that had been missed previously, I was able to celebrate by eating a steak completely pain free for the first time in 3 months! Although I live over 60 miles away, I will always make sure to see Dr. Azer for my dental care because of how thorough, compassionate, and kind he is. She's had multiple root canals and crowns. We went to our normal dentist who said she needs a new crown because a cavity is forming. But we weren't sure. We heard about Kaio Dental from another dentist friend and drove the hour drive from OC to see him. Let's just say we found our new dentist and are willing to drive that hour every 6 months. Dr. Tram is amazing. He taught at Western so he's knowledgeable and skilled. He understands its a changing field and one way is not the correct way. He also knows that explanation to the patient is key. He actually explained to use and showed us with a CT scan why she should hold off on the crown. There was a possible infection in the root so he recommended the imaging being read by an endodontist because if he replaced the crown and introduced bacteria into the area, it may cause even more pain. Something we had no idea on. He has amazing ethics. Isn't in it for the money. Just wants to be a good dentist. I went in for a cleaning and the dr Kim recommended a cavity repair on number 18th back left molar . He drilled to deep . He injured the nerves on the tooth. Came back a week later with sever pain. Dr Kim , redid the cavity treatment. He killed the nerves. The pain was so bad it caused migraines and sent me to the hospital . Dr Kim recommended a root canal. The root canal was poorly done and took the dentist 5 hours to complete it. Another dentist had to assist with him due to lack of experience. After the root canal , my tooth got really infected . Instead of treating the infection , Dr Kim goes and puts a crown that doesn't even fit on it causing more pain and infection. I came back to the dentist crying and requesting another dentist . Dr Crabera was nice to fix Dr Kim mistakes , but the damage was already done. I was sent to a endodontist to have a re do tooth canal . The Endodontist said it was a botch root canal dr Kim did . She took out the infection that was going down to the bone . I called the office to file a complaint and the office said it was my problem . All around , the staff and the dentist gave poor customer service and I will end up loosing the tooth in the end 'stated by the surgeon now '. I have always had excellent teeth but going to west coast dental was a death sentence for my tooth that was originally healthy before I went there. He never acted like he was impatient or angry, he was just very kind and understanding. He thoroughly explained everything that would be happening, including the awful sounds of my tooth being pulled out. I was very grateful for that, otherwise I would have flipped out when I heard the noise. He got the job done quickly and I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. He text me a few days after the surgery to check on me and replied back quickly when I had questions about what was happening after. I highly recommend Dr. Sharobiem! He will definitely be my go to doctor for oral surgeries.
