My boyfriend had shown me this place on social media so we decided to give it a try! It can be hard to find as the turn to get in of the plaza is at a busy intersection but you are able to U-turn and enter it! Plenty of parking spots and very easy to spot. Upon entering you are greeted by staff and very bright lights and decor. Immediately you are seated and have the option of scanning your menu QR code and looking at the hot bar. The seats were sat down at were pretty cool. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen along with my boyfriend getting a chicken ramen. It didn't take long for it to arrive but we got some waters and decided to go check the hot bar. They had a variety of fried foods such as tempura, chicken katsu, dumplings, takoyaki and some other appetizing looking foods. Next to it was their sushi. Sushi wasn't necessary fresh and it looked a bit bare. Could be from it not being too busy. The ramen once it was arrived was decent, I do feel the egg could've been sitting in the soy sauce a bit better and the ramen flavor seemed a bit off. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I had. The sushi was okay, like I mentioned it wasn't necessarily fresh but it was decent and I didn't get sick afterwards. The fried foods were hit or miss. Overall, I'm glad we took the time to check it out but we most likely wouldn't be back unless we were out of ideas and happened to be in the area. read more

It's a little store front in a plaza. When you walk in, the decor is different and so is the seating arrangement. You'll have to see it to experience the "magic" that makes you feel like you're kind of in Japan. Unlimited ramen??? Am I in heaven? As a table of 4, we ordered 3 different ramen to share and taste. Spicy Shodo Tonkatsu, Seafood Udon, and Katsuobushi. Spicy Shodo and Katsuobushi is definitely y the top contenders! Although there are so many more to try Then decided to try out the sushi buffet... (insert sound effects for a giant let down) Shrimp tempura = not fresh (soggy) Vegetable tempura = not fresh (soggy) Pork Gyoza = stale and hard (careful, don't chip your tooth) Salt and pepper = stale Vegetable spring rolls = soggy Nigiri = what Nigiri? Almost not existent. They bring out a small plate with only enough to feed 1 for a full restaurant. They could not keep up with the things in the buffet for the lunch crowd. We also order from the sushi rolls AYCE menu, pretty good. I guess ordering from the menu is quicker than trying to fight 50 other patrons for the 4 pieces of nigiri on the buffet line. Then again, you get what you pay for ($22/person; definitely worth it for the ramen though)? The servers came by to grab our used plates, but didn't refill the waters nor refill for my husband's soda. We asked her like almost 3 times before she brought it. Service is definitely not their strong suit. Nor is keeping up with the demand of the patrons. Honestly, I'll probably go back to give it another chance. Maybe they just had an off day. This all you can eat sushi and ramen spot is such a fun experience. The space itself really stood out. They have these super cool hexagon shaped almost honeycomb seating areas that are perfect if you are with a group. It feels almost private without being closed off. Our waitress was fantastic. She was funny and engaging but also did not hover or overcrowd us which I really appreciated yet she was always there right when we needed her. Honestly ideal service. Food wise everything was pretty good. Vegetarian options are definitely more limited as expected at an all you can eat sushi place but two out of four of us were vegetarian and still felt like we got our money's worth. Between the salads, veggie appetizers and the fact that they let us personalize vegetarian sushi rolls and brought them right to the table we never felt like we didn't have something to eat. The real standout was the vegetarian miso ramen. Wow. Rich, comforting and incredibly flavorful. Honestly that ramen alone was worth the price tag. I also heard through the grapevine that they offer kid portions of the ramen and that some people order a couple of the kid ramens so they can try more than one flavor without committing to a single large bowl which is such a fun idea. I had high expectations based on the Instagram posts ...but our visit was disappointing. $22 AYCE sushi buffet incl. ramen and udon bowls. Located in downtown Alpharetta. Former Kyuramen spot as you will recognize the space. Service was friendly. MEGA RAMEN - broth very good but noodles were very doughy and gummy like it wasn't cooked long enough. Ramen bowl also had corn, jammy egg, pork, bamboo shoots, green onions, and nori sheet. UDON - while the noodles were good this time, the broth was soooo salty. We did share feedback with staff for both the ramen and udon. The seafood selection was good though - shrimp, mussel, squid. And they have kiddie size noodle bowls if you want to sample. APPS BUFFET - they had takoyaki, fried shrimp, vegetable tempura, vegetable spring roll, pork tonkatsu, salt & pepper chicken ... all ok. SUSHI BUFFET - all the rolls were good ... however only saw them bring out the salmon and tuna nirigi sushi once during our whole visit and of course those went fast. Salmon was good, tuna was thin. Otherwise the only nirigi that came out more frequently was just egg, shrimp, and crabmeat. DESSERT - jello, cake, and pre-packaged single servings of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ... artificial flavors :( Sorry we won't be back but hopefully they fixed the noodle and broth issues. read more

AYCE ramen and sushi for $22. The price is the same regardless if it's lunch or dinner, the weekday or weekend. I think the experience is only worth it if you can eat at least 2 bowls of ramen and consider the sushi as more of a bonus. There is usually only one tray of nigiri, and that tray gets emptied fast. I notice that many patrons would quickly sprint to the buffet bar when this tray gets put out. Usually by the time I get there, all the salmon nigiri is gone. I personally don't eat much of the other types of sushi with lots of sauce and cream cheese, so I don't feel like I get my sushi fix here. That being said, the staff is very nice. I would say the waitresses are some of the kindest in the food business. If you are a ramen lover, then this place is great for you because the noodles are great. If you are a more of a sushi lover, you may not be satisfied. read more

I been reading about this place and been wanting to try it out. I was super sad when the previous Ramen place closed down here. Parking lot is very big and located on Hwy 9/Main St in the Alpharetta/Milton area. I came here on a Friday affernoon and was not busy at all. Decor inside was pretty and still looked like Kyro-Ramen. So this place is basically an AYCE Ramen spot. There is a tiny sushi and fried food bar. The waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Great customer service. I went to grab my food at the sushi and hot bar. Well the sushi was very hard and appeared to been out for a very long time. The chicken nuggets, dumpling, chicken katsu, and fried shrimp. All the fried food was very cold and seemed to been out for a minute. The selection of Ramen was amazing and I enjoyed the Seafood Udon, KATSUOBUSHI Ramen, and MEGA TONKOTSU (CHASHU & SHRIMP) ramen. The indgrients and meat were all fresh. Since these were made to order, it was very hot. I really enjoyed the ramen here and for the price, it's definitely worth it. Let's address the hot food bar. I think they should get rid of the food buffet bar and place everything on menu to where it's made to order. They will no waste food nobody eats it and it will fresh and hot for the customers. It's a win-win situation. The price of $22.99 per person where kids under 5 are free is the perfect price point. I think if they get rid of that buffet bar and put everything onto the menu made to order, it will be it to another level. Tried Shodu Ramen and Sushi today in Alpharetta, AYCE. I believe its only been open 3 weeks. Very clean and casual contemporary feel. Very spacious, service was friendly and quite pleasant. Nice sushi bar with a limited selection of other hot foods such as spring rolls, chicken karage chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, tempura veggies, melons, salad, and ice cream. See menu pictured for ramen and udon selections. Sushi and Sashimi were fresh and tasted good though not the widest selections but quite adequate. Hot bar was also quite adequate, good but nothing outstanding to boast about. All in all, very pleasant and good while fairly priced. For $22pp all day, it won't break your bank and is well worth the money. I'll give it a 3.5. It is a must try for something different! read more

Buyer Beware - AYCE at your own risk. I've yet to meet someone who can down more than one bowl of ramen in a sitting so the AYCE portion lends itself towards the fried bar and sushi buffet. Sushi is mid at best and not refreshed quick enough. The fried food was not hot and there's no way to tell with certainty how long it's been sitting out. And take the fried part literally as whatever version of fried food sat unheated on the countertop was mostly breading and none of the good stuff, i.e. meat or veggies. The ramen was photo pretty but tasteless and noodles themselves gummy. If you want ramen, try other places in the area. If you want sushi, try other places in the area. If you want to fill your gut with mid sushi and ramen and fried crisps at an unlimited quantity then this might be the place for you. read more

Was in the mood for ramen and knew my wife and kiddo would prefer other stuff so this was an awesome compromise cause has ramen and a buffet. I have never been here, was pleasantly surprised when we came in cause it was spacious, clean, and inviting. The server was sooooo friendly and honestly she is why we are going to come back. Her warmth and how she was so sweet to our daughter was amazing. The food was good, especially for a buffet. We each got a ramen. The tonkotsu ramen my wife got was good and the miso I got was extremely good. The egg was perfectly jammy, the pork and other toppings were so damn good. The ambiance of this place is a 10/10. Really fantastic atmosphere, with some dynamic seating options. For buffet sushi, the quality is a bit better than expected. Lots of variety and tasted pretty fresh. I like that you can get a little bit of everything. Service is generally quick, although we waited probably 10-15 minutes before someone first came to our table. What makes this place unique is that it's also an all you can eat ramen restaurant. The ramen portion size is massive. I got the seafood udon and it was just okay. The seafood didn't seem fresh and the broth was too sweet. There is a small dessert section which is limited, nothing out of this world. Little cups of ice cream and some pastries, but again, the pastries didn't seem fresh. When I got my first bowl of ramen, the noodles were floury and pasty, UNDERCOOKED! The second bowl was better. $22 for this Ayce isn't worth it when the best thing was the cheese Rangoon. This is the second time I've been there. I was amazed by the first time, but this time the quality went down a lot! The sushi bar was almost empty with no nigiri. The hot bar was bad too. I was really disappointed by the veggie tempura and takoyaki. The veggie tempura only had onion rings and takoyaki wasn't fresh at all. I found this place on TikTok and the photos were amazing. Customer Service I dont know the waitress' name but she is wonderful! Very FAST, attentive and funny. She made us laugh and was very accommodating. Staff I don't know the host name either but I'm very happy she seated us in a conservative spot which actually was very beautiful seating and has such a nice ambiance feeling for introverts. Chef We had the ramen, sushi and gyoza options which were yummy! Very well done and the broth was delicious. Ramen was delightful. I ate ramen in Japan and could not even get through half because it was so greasy so was a little scared but their broth is much lighter and delicious.
