AYCE ramen and sushi for $22. The price is the same regardless if it's lunch or dinner, the weekday or weekend. I think the experience is only worth it if you can eat at least 2 bowls of ramen and consider the sushi as more of a bonus. There is usually only one tray of nigiri, and that tray gets emptied fast. I notice that many patrons would quickly sprint to the buffet bar when this tray gets put out. Usually by the time I get there, all the salmon nigiri is gone. I personally don't eat much of the other types of sushi with lots of sauce and cream cheese, so I don't feel like I get my sushi fix here. That being said, the staff is very nice. I would say the waitresses are some of the kindest in the food business. If you are a ramen lover, then this place is great for you because the noodles are great. If you are a more of a sushi lover, you may not be satisfied.

I been reading about this place and been wanting to try it out. I was super sad when the previous Ramen place closed down here. Parking lot is very big and located on Hwy 9/Main St in the Alpharetta/Milton area. I came here on a Friday affernoon and was not busy at all. Decor inside was pretty and still looked like Kyro-Ramen. So this place is basically an AYCE Ramen spot. There is a tiny sushi and fried food bar. The waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Great customer service. I went to grab my food at the sushi and hot bar. Well the sushi was very hard and appeared to been out for a very long time. The chicken nuggets, dumpling, chicken katsu, and fried shrimp. All the fried food was very cold and seemed to been out for a minute. The selection of Ramen was amazing and I enjoyed the Seafood Udon, KATSUOBUSHI Ramen, and MEGA TONKOTSU (CHASHU & SHRIMP) ramen. The indgrients and meat were all fresh. Since these were made to order, it was very hot. I really enjoyed the ramen here and for the price, it's definitely worth it. Let's address the hot food bar. I think they should get rid of the food buffet bar and place everything on menu to where it's made to order. They will no waste food nobody eats it and it will fresh and hot for the customers. It's a win-win situation. The price of $22.99 per person where kids under 5 are free is the perfect price point. I think if they get rid of that buffet bar and put everything onto the menu made to order, it will be it to another level. I definitely hope this place stays for a long time as I can't wait to come back.

Tried Shodu Ramen and Sushi today in Alpharetta, AYCE. I believe its only been open 3 weeks. Very clean and casual contemporary feel. Very spacious, service was friendly and quite pleasant. Nice sushi bar with a limited selection of other hot foods such as spring rolls, chicken karage chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, tempura veggies, melons, salad, and ice cream. See menu pictured for ramen and udon selections. Sushi and Sashimi were fresh and tasted good though not the widest selections but quite adequate. Hot bar was also quite adequate, good but nothing outstanding to boast about. All in all, very pleasant and good while fairly priced. For $22pp all day, it won't break your bank and is well worth the money. I'll give it a 3.5. It is a must try for something different!

Buyer Beware - AYCE at your own risk. I've yet to meet someone who can down more than one bowl of ramen in a sitting so the AYCE portion lends itself towards the fried bar and sushi buffet. Sushi is mid at best and not refreshed quick enough. The fried food was not hot and there's no way to tell with certainty how long it's been sitting out. And take the fried part literally as whatever version of fried food sat unheated on the countertop was mostly breading and none of the good stuff, i.e. meat or veggies. The ramen was photo pretty but tasteless and noodles themselves gummy. If you want ramen, try other places in the area. If you want sushi, try other places in the area. If you want to fill your gut with mid sushi and ramen and fried crisps at an unlimited quantity then this might be the place for you.

$22 AYCE ramen and buffet, really good price. My personal favorite was the Katsuobushi Ramen and Mega Tonkotsu Ramen. The salt & pepper chicken was also very good. Will be back!

The ambiance of this place is a 10/10. Really fantastic atmosphere, with some dynamic seating options. For buffet sushi, the quality is a bit better than expected. Lots of variety and tasted pretty fresh. I like that you can get a little bit of everything. Service is generally quick, although we waited probably 10-15 minutes before someone first came to our table. What makes this place unique is that it's also an all you can eat ramen restaurant. The ramen portion size is massive. I got the seafood udon and it was just okay. The seafood didn't seem fresh and the broth was too sweet. There is a small dessert section which is limited, nothing out of this world. Little cups of ice cream and some pastries, but again, the pastries didn't seem fresh. Overall, for $22 per person it's definitely worth a visit considering the wide variety of good sushi.

Can't beat the price of just $22 per pax with unlimited & variety of quality ramen plus unlimited sushi, sides, takoyaki, tempura, yakitori and nigiri shushi amongst all. We'll be back definitely!!!

So much cuter than you would think from the outside. Step inside and it is beautiful with cherry blossom trees, and lots of private and honeycomb seating, plenty of sushi options small hot food section and some of the best Ramen we have had in a long time great service five stars.

You won't be disappointed! Ramen was excellent complimented by a variety of sushi. Cost for quality spot on. Will be back for sure!

I do have to say, for a place that has one price for AYCE ramen and sushi it is so fair.

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

When I first had their ramen that's all I could think about when we visited Atl. After moving in the area and having this on a random Tuesday night idk what it was but I got their spicy kimchi ramen and my husband got their tonkotsu ramen and it lacked flavor. I asked for spicy Sichuan pepper sauce on side and all it was doing with a tiny bit in my ramen was making my tongue tingle the whole time. It kind of ruined my appetite. I had this better and not sure why that happened. I was charged extra without being informed of this and I gave her the whole sauce back after telling the server about this. I just like being informed of what I will be charged extra for, that's all. Anyways, overall did not appreciate this location at all.

My Crispy Chicken Rice Burger was quite hard to eat without it falling apart and eating it layer by layer. The Thai Iced Tea was pretty good and so was a Purple Sweet Potato Fries. The Omurice was also good but lacking great as well as the Yinyang bowl. Overall my expectations were not met but glad I got to check out this popular franchise.

Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???
