I was a disappointment the bag was untouched smell is just as strong months later and the buttons are in the same condition as when I first took the bag to be cleaned. He charged 249 when I came in and after realizing no work was done to it 7 days later when I was texted to pick it up. Slapped some cheap paint on the snaps and still the smell was inside the had it delivered to me with $100 refund. Not a good transaction. You can see the paint has rubbed off with minimal use. Went here because of reviews and absolutely regretted it. Charged me $200 to resole 1 pair of flats and repair the soles of 2 vintage sneakers (they just needed to be glued at the front). I should've left and gone somewhere else. When I went to pick up, my shoes hadn't even been cleaned or polished. People working there were nice enough but I won't be back. PS - about 3 months later, the soles of the flats they put on began separating slightly at the toes. read more

This company painted all my shoes without my consent. I took about 6 pairs of luxury shoes for a cleaning. When I checked the shoes they were all given back without the original laces and they were noticeably painted. The paint is very obvious and a pair of pink Maison Margiela that I have had from many seasons ago were painted to this season's pink. Original color vs. the new hotter pink. I emailed the company and they were quick to respond which I appreciate but they won't up to the fact that they painted my shoes. If you look at the sticking and the numbers on the shoe you can tell it was freshly painted. $432 bucks spent on a company with unethical business traits. read more

It's an outright lie that it was years. I paid for the repairs in advance and came in many times to retrieve them.

I brought in a pair of ugg boots and some Nike free run running shoes both to be stretched length wise. The guy let me know my Nike free runs doesn't really stretch because of the material but he would do what he could. It took about 3 days and both shoes were stretched just fine. Just a side note: the fit prior to taking them here was the perfect fit which to me was too tight. I like a little space so the minimal stretching that I got was perfect! In no way am I saying they stretched my shoes to a whole size or even half a size so don't think you can get away with buying a size 8 even know your a real 9.5. Don't do it!! Lol Place was clean, the guy was courteous and the price was right!! read more

I brought some booties here to replace the heels with rubber ones. My shoes were click clacking all around my office. Everyone could hear me walking all around. It was very hard to find the shop at first, but after tenaciously searching I found it. The customer service was excellent! They were all very polite, kind, and overall well mannered. They were able to fix my shoes as a walk in, although there was an hour plus wait. During that time, I browsed the Marshalls next door. They were a little pricey, but not unreasonably so. I'd come back here to bring in more shoes, but I'd prepare to wait a while. read more

As you can see by the side-by-side photos, 2 sets of sneakers were returned from "cleaning," with the colors horribly altered and the fabrics completely distressed. These were new sneakers, only a couple of months old (I have the receipt), and worn only a few times each. I wanted to keep them in pristine condition which is why I gave them in to the highly reputable Shoeber. The sneakers are now ruined; they look ten years older and like they've been through hell. I've reasonably asked for a refund of the cleaning fees in addition to the cost of the sneaker replacements I purchased as a result of the damage. So far I have heard nothing back. I have these beautiful pair of Louboutin heels, one of shoe had a nasty dent in the heel, basically the leather was scratched really bad. Brought it to Shoeber with little to no expectations and they repaired it in 2 days and delivered it to my house. This is the after pictures. Unfortunately I don't have the before but believe me, it was bad. I paid $90 for heel taps, sole repair, and the giant hideous scratch on my heel. I brought my red leather Tory Burch flats here to have them dyed and have the heels redone. They were beat up before and had worn spots all over. They look practically brand new again. These guys did such a fabulous job. There were even small chips in the paint on the metal logo that they covered. I got another quote before from a different shoe repair place, and he quoted the same for the redye and slightly higher for the sole. He also said these are not meant to be worn outside, and didn't seem to want to fix them. I paid Shoeber around $80 for everything and the guy I spoke to at Shoeber said it was no problem at all to fix my shoes. They were even finished two days early.
