If you care about quality work go here. They are knowledgable, respectful and professional. Good customer service and fast turn around time. Before Shoeber, I went to another cheaper shop to get my Frye Harness 8R boots resoled. This other shop didn't advise me about the different sole options or how it would change the look and feel of my favorite pair of boots. They barely communicated. They only showed me one sole, I had too much trust in them and went with what they recommended, which completely ruined the look and feel of the boot. They are amazing! Quick and gets you in and out. I haven't never received same day shoe repair service. It was also affordable and not pocket breaking. Indeed a great value and gem. I called a free times because they can seem hidden in the plaza and they were very patient and kind. They also have so many products and are very organized. Keep in mind this was to fix heel caps on some boots that weren't specialty boot caps but just black heel boots. read more

I was a disappointment the bag was untouched smell is just as strong months later and the buttons are in the same condition as when I first took the bag to be cleaned. He charged 249 when I came in and after realizing no work was done to it 7 days later when I was texted to pick it up. Slapped some cheap paint on the snaps and still the smell was inside the had it delivered to me with $100 refund. Not a good transaction. You can see the paint has rubbed off with minimal use. I've been a loyal customer for a number of years at Shoeber. Owner Johnny and his employees are very passionate about their work and take great pride and care of each customer's shoes et cetera. The brand of this business speaks for itself. I've never been disappointed and can promise you, once you given them your business, you'll be satisfied and happy, you'll be returning back. Recently had my KENT & CURWEN weekend travel duffel bag repaired and they even had the outside bag cleaned/polished without extra charge. Went here because of reviews and absolutely regretted it. Charged me $200 to resole 1 pair of flats and repair the soles of 2 vintage sneakers (they just needed to be glued at the front). I should've left and gone somewhere else. When I went to pick up, my shoes hadn't even been cleaned or polished. People working there were nice enough but I won't be back. PS - about 3 months later, the soles of the flats they put on began separating slightly at the toes. read more

This company painted all my shoes without my consent. I took about 6 pairs of luxury shoes for a cleaning. When I checked the shoes they were all given back without the original laces and they were noticeably painted. The paint is very obvious and a pair of pink Maison Margiela that I have had from many seasons ago were painted to this season's pink. Original color vs. the new hotter pink. I emailed the company and they were quick to respond which I appreciate but they won't up to the fact that they painted my shoes. If you look at the sticking and the numbers on the shoe you can tell it was freshly painted. $432 bucks spent on a company with unethical business traits. read more

I brought in a pair of ugg boots and some Nike free run running shoes both to be stretched length wise. The guy let me know my Nike free runs doesn't really stretch because of the material but he would do what he could. It took about 3 days and both shoes were stretched just fine. Just a side note: the fit prior to taking them here was the perfect fit which to me was too tight. I like a little space so the minimal stretching that I got was perfect! In no way am I saying they stretched my shoes to a whole size or even half a size so don't think you can get away with buying a size 8 even know your a real 9.5. Don't do it!! Lol Place was clean, the guy was courteous and the price was right!! read more

I brought some booties here to replace the heels with rubber ones. My shoes were click clacking all around my office. Everyone could hear me walking all around. It was very hard to find the shop at first, but after tenaciously searching I found it. The customer service was excellent! They were all very polite, kind, and overall well mannered. They were able to fix my shoes as a walk in, although there was an hour plus wait. During that time, I browsed the Marshalls next door. They were a little pricey, but not unreasonably so. I'd come back here to bring in more shoes, but I'd prepare to wait a while. read more

As you can see by the side-by-side photos, 2 sets of sneakers were returned from "cleaning," with the colors horribly altered and the fabrics completely distressed. These were new sneakers, only a couple of months old (I have the receipt), and worn only a few times each. I wanted to keep them in pristine condition which is why I gave them in to the highly reputable Shoeber. The sneakers are now ruined; they look ten years older and like they've been through hell. I've reasonably asked for a refund of the cleaning fees in addition to the cost of the sneaker replacements I purchased as a result of the damage. So far I have heard nothing back. My next step is small claims court. Please beware! read more

I have these beautiful pair of Louboutin heels, one of shoe had a nasty dent in the heel, basically the leather was scratched really bad. Brought it to Shoeber with little to no expectations and they repaired it in 2 days and delivered it to my house. This is the after pictures. Unfortunately I don't have the before but believe me, it was bad. I paid $90 for heel taps, sole repair, and the giant hideous scratch on my heel. Cost wise they are on the pricy side, but they deliver high quality and fast delivery so you get what you pay for. Happy with my purchase and will be back again and again! LIKE NEW! This was my first time using Shoeber as he came recommended by a friend. I took 7 pairs of shoes - from sample sale boots to Rock Studs to Manolos. All were scuffed, heels in bad condition from years of wear, and 1 pair needed to be dyed. Shoeber did a fantastic, timely job and kindly dropped them off. Replaced the sole of 4 shoes and adhered loose feathers; finished red soles to vintage Gucci, removed my ugly "NYC soles" on my boots to something beautiful..also gave my shoe molds for my vintage Gucci booties. I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The service was extremely poor, and the staff handled my item carelessly. My belt was damaged while in their possession, and instead of taking responsibility or offering any compensation, they dismissed the issue. The lack of professionalism, care, and accountability was frustrating. I trusted them with my property and expected better treatment. No shite after 1 hour exactly time I schedule Shoeber car front of my house. The gentleman came pickup my shoes and give me 20% off for first time customer and next day I schedule delivery. I took my favorite black pumps there to have them fix both hills. The owner was so friendly and respectful. He quoted me $8.00 to fix both hills! I thought to myself why it's so cheep, may be they don't do a good job! I asked him when should I come back to pick up my shoes? He said, if you wait a few minutes, it'll be done! Again I thought to myself, may be he doesn't know what I asked him to do or may be he will not do a good job! But to my surprise, he has done an incredible job in such short time! I took my wife's Christian Louboutin to him for a clean up and he told me to pick it up on Monday, I got there he quickly packed it up and gave it to me , got home to found out that he did not lay a finger on that shoe, but took my money. I dropped off a pair of slip-on sandals for a simple cleaning and sole repair. After about a month without any call, text, or email, I contacted the store to check on the status. After a lengthy search, I was told by the older woman who works there (who I believe may be the owner) the shoes had never been entered into their system when I dropped them off. She apologized and explained that the work had not yet been started. Mistakes happen, and I wasn't upset. However, another month passed before I learned the shoes were finally ready. By that point, I had missed several trips where I could have used them. And well as daily opportunities. What disappointed me most was the interaction when I picked them up. The older woman working there, who I again believe may be the owner, denied that the shoes had been forgotten and instead seemed to place the blame on me. This was surprising given that I had previously been told the shoes had never been entered into the system when I dropped them off. One of the younger male employees was kind, professional, and appeared more understanding throughout the interaction. Ultimately, I paid full price after waiting nearly two months for a relatively simple repair and then felt dismissed when I raised concerns. For the premium prices charged, I expected better communication and customer service. It was a truly unprofessional experience. Following this experience, friends recommended Shoe Lab on Doheny. I brought in a similar type of repair request I've brought into Pasquale before and had a completely different experience and timeline. Will, the owner, provided a clear timeline, fair pricing, excellent communication, and completed the work by the next day. I was even asked when I needed the shoes by and was given a beautiful gift bag to carry them home. (Photo attached) I don't mind paying premium prices when the service matches the cost. Unfortunately, after that experience at Pasquales, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I wish I had known sooner what many people in the Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile, Mid-Wilshire, and surrounding community already seemed to know--that there are other premium shoe repair options nearby that provide faster turnaround times, better communication, and a more customer-focused experience. Notably, Pasquale's competitor Shoe Lab on Doheny that has ample parking in front of and behind the store aside from residential.
