This is by far the worst Shoprite I've ever been to and I've been to many. Their policies are against the customers. They don't honor sales and digital coupons even when they don't have the product. They didn't want to cash my lottery ticket which is against PA Lottery guidelines. Report the store to the PA Lottery if they refuse to cash your lottery ticket. They should not be selling lottery tickets if they don't want to cash them. They think the customers are stupid and they can just do anything and say "Its our policy". Just horrible customer service. The deli counter and grab and go case has gone down hill. This location has gotten so cheap and greedy that I will never shop at this location again first, there's only one person that handles the deli the last five times I've been there just one employee there's other people there but they don't help customers they're just there. The line is always 10 to 15 people and now the grab and go case only has large quantity items so no more quarter pound half pound it's all 1 pound or slightly less. I've been shopping at this store for close to 20 years. In all those years, the Shop Rite under the current owner(s) has been the worst! 1. They never have advertised sale items, you have to get a rain check. (which I'm sure to either misplace or forget about) 2. Unfortunately, I've purchased several "out of date" items and know others who also have. Checking the date on merchandise isn't at the top of their list. 3. They have so many registers, yet no matter when you go, you can be guaranteed ony 3 or 4 of them will be open. 4. There are several nasty cashiers. I personally have complained about one and the management could care less. 5. There's a little man there who is one of the managers. At first I was thrilled with the sight of their fresh bakery. So many choices! Such affordable prices! But several bakery items I've tried here (rolls, cookies, and a sticky roll) were extremely DRY, almost inedible. The produce is also poor. Many items looked limp and wilted (parsley, cilantro, kale, etc.). Several produce items were also significantly overpriced. For example, their parsley is $1.50 for a small, wilted bunch, whereas at Giant, they have much larger, fresher bunches for $1.00. For shelf-stable items, this place is ok (good selection). But I don't like their price tags, which are laid out in a very unintuitive way. The price of the item should be at the bottom of the tag. But I must admit, Shop Rite's house brand peanut butter is delicious and very affordable! And this is pretty much the only place where I can find deli-made tuna salad. I honestly wouldn't even give them one star. My little sister had an incident of discrimination at this store. A caucasian lady saw my sister and started judging her based on her clothes, telling her to go home and change her pants. Keep in mind she was completely covered. The lady continued to taunt my sister and scream at her. Then she threatened to COUGH on her. Because of covid going on, this is one of the biggest threats I've heard happening in situations like this. We are Indians with colored skin, and being discriminated against is something that we should've expected. This used to be the best store. You could see the owner walking around taking pride in the appearance- and the staff are generally friendly. They used to have daycare available 7 days a week- and the daycare staff were just the absolute best- people my son would beg to go see. I started to notice a drop in quality of food. I would buy produce in the morning- and by evening it was bad. Meat, produce etc all going bad super fast. I even noticed items on the shelf well past their expiration dates. I called and talked to the manager because I LOVE this store and wanted to let someone know that much of the product was not lasting until the date on the package- etc. nothing changed. Then one day- I was buying chicken when I noticed the cooler was at 65 degrees. We inform someone and finish shopping without buying meat. We went back at the end of our trip- and the remedy was to then turn the cooler to super cold- and none of the product was tossed. (The chicken was warmish!) that put the nail in the coffin. I still occasionally run in for an item or two on the fly- and I have found that there is a rotten stench in the store. The daycare is now only open weekends. When this store was owned by Browns it was awesome and I shopped here all the time. This store is no longer worth the trip. It is also very noisy. When you walk in there is a tv with a loud advertisement. Walk to the produce and you hear thunder. Walk down the dairy aisle and you hear chickens clucking. One time the music was so loud I actually went to customer service and requested that it be turned down, which they could not do. One particular customer service associate has a terrible attitude. I did have a very sweet cashier the last time I was there. Overall, this is a just place to grab an item or two if I am in the neighborhood. I can't do large orders here anymore. It's a shame because this really used to be my favorit I was recently in the area and stopped in for a few things. Walked in and walked right out. It's awful compared to what it used to be. Not only was there a complete lack of the HIPAA LAWS, but this man was ignorant & rude to boot! He made no bones about yelling my husband's private information from across the room. There was a problem filling a much needed prescription and he offered no advice, suggestions or sympathy as to how to settle & satisfy a customer, my husband. I have shopped at this store for many years because of its specials. Generally, the prices on other items are no better than anywhere else. However, the customer service has never been good and a recent experience was very poor. When the cashier advised that they didn't take the particular kind of giant coupon I presented, I checked out and went to customer service. My point was that the way they have always advertised "we take Giant coupons" is not correct. The two women behind the counter simply stated with barely any eye contact, "we don't take that type"(mailed coupons) and haven't for months (the cahier said they hadn't for a month). Recently I had to return a $17 bag of shrimp which was really foul smelling. The woman in Customer Service was mean and rude. She informed me in an authoritarian tone of voice that it was passed the 30 day limit. I inquired about frozen food, it was maybe 45 days, she gave me an attitude when saying yes. I took myself to the Manager. Surprise, surprise, he had the same surly attitude. I informed him that I dad been a customer there for many years but I this was my last day . They support local sports teams and are an influential part of our area. The deals and prices are so affordable. The bakery makes fresh homemade Italian bread that they roll out hot on a little cart. It's my family's favorite bread ever. The produce is always fresh, and any time we have had problems (with coupons, items we left at the store, etc.) they are more than gracious. I have had numerous bad experiences with one particular cashier name Amy. She is obnoxious and she is out right rude. She stands so close to you at the self checkout. What happened to 6 feet. And she goes through your bag like you are a thief. I go through self scan so there are less hands on my merchandise. If you have a problem with a coupon she gives you the 3rd degree about if you did or didn't purchase the item. I have complained to the customer service about her. I have call the 1-800-Shoprite and emailed corporate about her and nothing is done. If it wasn't for there good prices I would be done shopping here. So glad to see Weis is opening near them soon. This ShopRite needs to make sure that ALL employees in the store use SOCIAL DISTANCING and WEAR masks at ALL times. During my last shopping experience a week ago, I witnessed some employees not wearing masks in the back of the store in various departments as they were stocking merchandise at counters and tables on the sales floor. This was at 6:00 am in the morning.Also, a few customers customers were coming in the store NOT wearing masks and NOT social distancing. One of the managers overheard me discussing it and ignored it as he was stocking the shelf. This is dangerous and if customers can't wear a mask for a specific reason maybe they should use the delivery service offered by ShopRite. I understand it is not a law to wear a mask however that is a good way to spread Covid. Also, some shopping cart employees are not social distancing as well and talking blocking the check out lanes. Finally, I and other customers were noticing a sour smell throughout the store especially in produce, dairy and frozen food departments. ShopRite please get your act together! Shoprite has products that the nearby Giant does not. Plus, on duplicate products, the SR price is lower than Giant. The staff I interact with are helpful and know how to react if there's a problem. There is a downside; Since I shop for myself, I typically use a small shopping cart. This site has an abundance of large carts, but way too few of the small ones. I've alerted management to this issue. Management dismissed my complaint. So, when I shop here, I scout the parking-lot cart corrals so I can 'score' a small cart; The chances of finding a small cart at the store's entrance is about 1:8. I'm thinking if they had maybe 10 additional small carts, this would be a non-issue. More than once, when I'm leaving the store and abandon my cart at the entrance-area, another shopper is eager to take possession of my cart; obviously, I'm not the only shopper here that prefers the small carts. read more

Of course the customer has no access to their card history to confirm and card is not always used 100%. I don't mind this location. Pros: 1. As compared to Giant which is pretty much right next to it, they stock several (normal) items that for some reason, Giant does not stock. 2. The pricing is comparable to Giant 3. Good coupon deals, and good sales Cons: 1. They run out of sale items quickly, and often. 2, The store is a little older, and looks it. It's very clean though. 3. Not as good at customer service..sometimes lines are much too long. In summary of our supermarket experiences: we get whatever we can at Aldi's, and like to use Wegman's the best for everything else. Shoprite comes in third, because it's close to home. My fiance and I really enjoy shopping at our Warminster Shop Rite. We use to shop at Giant but stopped years ago when we saw how much we could save by shopping here. Now when we go shopping, we typically hop around to different stores as some things are cheaper here, some things aren't. I pay attention to what is on sale each week. If there's a deal on chicken, we buy chicken, same w/ beef or anything else. We have never had a problem with receiving "bad" meat. I also have never had a problem w/ the customer service desk, they've always been nice and helpful when needed. FYI - weekends tend to be a mad house here. If you can, go on a weeknight, say 7-8pm. My Dad has shopped there for years so being in his 90s he is familiar with the store. The dollars off coupons is the ONLY reason that I give it 2 stars. Most of the clerks except one, have no clue what they are doing. They overstuff the bags, put cold and hot things together and cleaning products in with food. One girl almost took my hand off when I was bagging my own groceries. The aisles are full of people stocking and they make NO attempt to try to move for you to buy an item. I have bought mussels there twice and both times they were bad and I was not charged the sale price. The pharmacist was rude and was not helpful and in fact told me the WRONG directions to where a particular over the counter med was.
