Shore Grille is a large restaurant at 25th and Western. There is a small bar with divides the large dining room into two pieces. The service is warm, welcoming and friendly. We were relieved that the restaurant could accommodate our extended family group rather late on a Sunday evening. Corkage is VERY reasonable, and the service was very generous (extra cornbread for the couple of people who did not have it). I really enjoyed my ribs and grilled asparagus. Using the Chicago for Ribs recipe, the ribs were incredibly tender. Unsolicited but most welcome, we had some extra sauce served on the side. I cannot believe that it took me so long to get here. We've been dining in restaurants for years here in San Pedro ..heard about the SHORE GRILL from some friends in Redondo Beach.. Today out looking for something to eat so we thought we stop by and we we're greeted by Sandy and she helped us throughout half of our experience and she was all smiles and very helpful ..can I tell you this was an amazing stop from the service down to the delicious food. The calamari strips were definitely one of my favorite Carlos. The waiter was amazing. Don't forget to get your dessert. We come here quite a bit. Chopped BBQ chicken salad is excellent. Service is always good and consistent. I've never seen it packed or even waited for a table. I think their prices are higher than what they should be which is probably why it's never crowded. It would heavier in our local restaurant rotation if it was just a bit cheaper. Went here tonight, the food was pretty good I got the pulled pork sandwich and added Cole slaw on it. It made it soggy so I think next time I will just ask for it on the side but the flavors were really good. The Mac and cheese didn't come out very warm so I would say ask for it very hot if you get it. It was good Mac and cheese though and the waffle fries were great. The service was amazing the guy that helped us was very nice. Got the food out fast and he was on it with refills. I love the ambiance. It's dimly lit and spacious. I'm a fan of this restaurant. They can get busy on a Friday night but I've never had to wait very long to sit. As for getting the food, it takes a while so don't go if you're famished and starving. They are located in a center with a shared lot with free parking. There are a couple other restaurants so weekend nights get a bit busy. They have nice large booths inside for seating and you're not too close to other guests. Waitstaff is pretty friendly. When they're busy they may not greet you right away. I don't take it personally. I love their warm pretzel appetizer. Calamari was good but different from your usual calamari so you might check out photos first. Let me take one next time. I love love love their fried shrimp tacos. They are generous with the shrimp and you have to use the sauce on the side yuuuuum. Burgers are decent as is the philly steak and fish entree. Never had a bad dish. Kids meals (both burger and chicken strips) are really good. Chicken is very tender. Oh their waffle fries and tater tots are really good too. I started off giving them a four then after reading my own review changed it to a five. Lol hmmmm... maybe because the long wait for food I started with the four. December 23, we had an unexpected guest and no one wanted to go out to eat .So, I called in a a take out order. Two orders of shrimp tacos, one salmon dinner, guacamole and chips as well as a side of queso. Our guest was super impressed with the tacos as was my sister! I love the salmon dinner as well. Christmas Eve day, my daughter and her family were coming for an early dinner, so, at the suggestion of one of your excellent staff, he suggested a family pack, so I ordered a medium tri tip pack with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and asked for "drippings" to make gravy. Your staff provided all I requested, including drippings for gravy! We had a lot of tri tip left over(2 of 5 people do not eat meat), but every thing else was devoured, happily! I provided non meat dishes as well as biscuits! My son in law got the remaining meat to take home! Sorry that I didn't take pictures, but the food was fabulous! Food: everything was pretty good! Portions were sized fairly for prices we paid!! We were hungry and left happy and satisfied. Francisco is an excellent representation for the shore grille. His customer service was OUTSTANDING. I called to make an order to-go for 17 people. Usually is an adventure trying to get an order that large. I did a courtesy call to find out how far in advance I should put the order in. He said he can take the order now and it would be ready when I picked it up. I was able to pu everyone's name on the order (BIG PLUS!!) AND he read the order back to me!!! He was very considerate, professional, and when I got there he had a box fix with all our meals, ready to go. The film crew was SO HAPPY!!! Food was really good, everyone got their food right (no meal left behind and no issues with someone getting something wrong). The place is well decorated, the atmosphere was very relax. My uncle loves this restaurant and has been a patron here for a while! Not very busy when we came on a Sunday for a late lunch, since the football games were going on! They do have tons of TV in here to watch. My sister and I got the fish tacos. It comes with 3 generous tacos. So much food! Even came with house made tortilla chips and salsa! The fish tacos were...bland. Needed just a tad more seasoning. Even despite the sauce, it didn't help to flavor it. The chips and salsa were the star of the show! So so good! You could tell they had just made them fresh! I was stuffed! My other sister got ribs which fell right off the bone! It came with a bunch of stuff. She couldn't finish but loved everything! We chose to eat lunch at the Shore Grille today and it was an excellent choice. The Baby Back Pork Ribs were succulent with the tastiest Mac n Cheese and Onion Rings. We also enjoyed the Barbeque Shrimp with delicious Garlic Mashed Potato and Baked Beans which was finger licking good! My son ordered Fish Tacos which were different and he loved it. Service was really good with our waitress smiling each time she served us. The restaurant itself has a relaxed feel to it and is very well maintained and clean. We were looking for a local place to experience and were impressed with the pics in the reviews! So we took a shuttle from the hotel. On a Friday night, this place is pretty busy, but we got a great table by the window. We started with the onion ring loaf with homemade bbq sauce. Yum! The we each got a cup of soup. I had the tomato bisque which was creamy and full of flavor! The piece of toasted bread was heavenly. My husband's clam chowder was the best he ever had - and this guy is picky! He kept saying how buttery and creamy it was with the right ratio of clams and potatoes. We could have just stopped there! But we split an order of fish and chips. They were okay - the fish was slightly overcooked so not flaky. The waffle fries were crispy and hot. We had to try the dulce de leche cheesecake. Carmelly and good! Let me start by saying some places are better as a dine in and that is Shore Grill, however I am trying to limit the places I eat inside of due to COVID. I really wasn't sure what I was craving when I ordered from here but I definitely knew I wanted a dessert. After a deep DoorDash search while working from home I came across Shore Grill. I for sure knew the experience was going to be part of the meal and I was missing that by simply not being there, but I think the food still held up in the delivery process. I also did not realize how far it was from my house, but I'll do better next time. Let's get into why you came here. Cheesecake: It arrived in the same bag as the hot food which I can admit isn't a good choice. I had to place it in fridge to get it back cold. (I like cheesecake cold). I'm a sucker for salted Carmel and this was not that. Do not get me wrong the cheesecake was good but it arriving warm and not having the best crust took away from the joy of it. Non the less I'd order again but only if I was inside. Mashed Potatoes: listen I'm the wrong person to say anything about mashed potatoes because I love potatoes and as long as it has lots of butter and season correctly you've got a fan for life. I'd definitely get this again and probably take some home. Haha Macaroni & Cheese: I'm not the same sucker as I am with the mashed potatoes. I will admit it wasn't as creamy or cheesy as I'd like my macaroni and cheese to be. But I do realize it's best to make this from home. But I wanted it and tossed some heavy cream and it brought it back to life. Or maybe simply gave it life. I do not know if I'd order these again but I wouldn't not go out of my way not to get them. Cornbread: this corn bread needs it own review. It was so good (after I warmed it). It was thick yet light at the same time. The butter served with it definitely help set this apart from other corn breads that are usually rock hard thinking it will be served with soup. They knew this needed to be it's own items and it was. Buffalo Cauliflower: this should only be eaten at the time it's made not to later be reheated. I'm always second guessing myself when getting an appetizers with delivery because I want to get straight into the meal. But I will say if I ever stop inside I would order this as part of the true dine in experience. Now the main course: the baby back ribs, while they wouldn't stand alone they really do well with the meal as a whole. I wouldn't just get the ribs and nothing else. The seasoning they used wasn't my favorite but I also couldn't place the taste of it either. The sauce used for the ribs gave off more of a soup feel I added some cornstarch to thicken it up slightly. I would order these again but I also knew what I was in for. Welp that's all I have for Shore Grill I would give in a dine in experience because I completely say I wouldn't try again. read more

The shore grill is awesome and there's something for everyone on the menu. Taco Tuesdays is great if you want to get six fish tacos for the price of three. Happy hour starts at 8 o'clock, and if you get any of their salads, they're all great! Plenty of food to go around. read more
