    Gulf shrimp and Electric Jellyfish.
    Sherrill J.

R and I had dinner with friends. B ordered a whiskey sour and R had an Electric Jellyfish. Reg had a Watermelon Rita and I had a spicy habernero Margarita. We ordered a selection of PEI oysters as did B and R. They were great! For dinner, B ordered a Sautéed Lobster Roll with sweet potato fries, R ordered Lobster tail, Reg ordered a Pick 4 with Shrimp and Fish and I ordered a Seafood Platter with Shrimp, Oysters and Fish ands Tater Tots. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoy the setting.

I've been coming here on the regular for the past year or so. Although it's a commitment to get here from across town; it's worth the drive. The bartenders are great and the HH menu is hard to beat. If you are there for HH drinks, make sure you are specific about what you order. It's happened to me and I've heard it happen to other customers. I have ordered the "happy hour Sauvignon blanc" (specifically saying HH). I have been served a SB but it wasn't the HH one. I feel when you say "happy hour" they should let you know or ask "do you want the HH white"? I would say it's a one off but it's happened multiple times when I've been there. The oysters are 50% off all day on Mondays and during HH every day (3-6). That's a great deal and they are all great ones! I have had almost everything on the HH menu. Last week, I finally tried the calamari and it was fantastic. It was light. The sauce was delish. I would get it again. Get to shore for a great HH. I like sitting at the bar where I can look out and see the rest of the restaurant. It's good people watching. :)

Shore Raw Bar & Grill is a high end seafood restaurant with a cool jazzy vibe. There are different seating areas from indoor, outdoor and bar. That also have a private room to rent out for events and business meetings and has its own bar. Live music is scheduled here too. I wanted to try a new drink on the menu and selected the Smoked Old Fashioned. It cool to see the bartender prepare it for me where he added smoke to it. The drink was really good. I ordered the Roasted Chilean Sea Bass and it was just delicious. It was presented beautifully where the fish had great flavor with a tasty crust on top of roasted garlic rice. Over time I have tried many different menu selections and never been disappointed.

First time visiting this restaurant and I had the soup and salad. The server made a recommendation and told me to get etoufee over the seafood gumbo. Luckily, I did. My partner had the gumbo and I didn't care for it. He said the shrimp po boy was excellent and he liked the gumbo. It was a bit too salty for me. Overall, I would definitely come back for their lunch.

3.5 Stars Came here for a Friday night dinner - casual but stylish seafood and steak spot with some Cajun and Mexican inspired dishes. I had some bites of the fried calamari appetizer ($19) - nice and crispy but could have used more salt / seasoning. Oysters were great ($114 for 24 oysters). I also had a cup of the crawfish etouffee ($6) and Salmon Tartare ($22). The etoufee was rich and buttery and had a nice amount of crawfish. I found a super long hair in mine though, which was kind of gross, hence the 3 star. The Salmon Tartare was fresh, zingy, and had copious amounts of avocado. The wonton chips were super crispy and great. "Everything was great. Meal was outstanding". - friend Craig who ordered the Lobster Tail Elle, our server, was cheery and wonderful. Soft live music was playing, which set a nice ambience.

Homemade Vanilla ice cream with peanut brittle and chocolate

Due to this location being outside of the Austin neighborhood, we didn't have high expectations for this restaurant that his seated on the side of State Highway 71 (in what looks like a strip mall). All the things ordered were wonderfully enjoyed. The blackberry margarita, muddled with actual blackberries. The fried gulf shrimp, crunchy and tasty on their own but also delicious with the house made sauces. The shoelace/matchstick fries were fun too! Woodfire oysters? Yes. Get them. Unique and a perfect cross-taste of Gulf and Louisiana-Cajun flavors. A must to order. The Gulf Seafood Duo - a dish that is good enough to split by two. Parmesan crusted red snapper butterflied and prepared with lump blue crab, and dirty rice that has sausage. The simple white wine cream sauce? Yum! Finally, homemade vanilla ice cream. Yup. Tastes homemade. Not overly sweet. Recommend ordering the scoop with chocolate brownie and peanut brittle. Enjoy, y'all! Thank you, Chef Brandon and staff!

The happy hour here is legit! Best mussels I've ever had. Fried green tomatoes topped with crab remoulade were awesome as well. Calamari is also a great choice. Drinks and service were wonderful. Surprised we didn't try them sooner. Only thing I'll mention is the air conditioning wasn't great here, it was HOT. Crank it down, honeys.

Food is OK. But it's way too high price for the ambience. It's a big open noisy room.

Way way way overpriced. Like to the point where it borders on offensive. Food pretty decent with Michelin star prices.

Does Shore offer gluten free options?

    Yes

Does Shore permit diners to bring in their own wine for a corkage fee?

I seriously doubt it. They have a great wine list and they need the revenue . Update : I picked up…

    Are they open yet?

Yes, went today and was awesome! Loved everything we ordered, a bit pricey though so be prepared. Loved the waiter and oysters, and whole fish we split.

Since it was this new and poppin' restaurant on East Cesar Chavez from the team behind De Nada, we had over an hour wait that we didn't take up. Its vibe intrigued me, and I think Cajun food is top five like Tatum with a cut. I decided to prepare only slightly this time. While getting dinner with a friend, we were discussing places when I suggested Lil' Easy. I threw a reservation down for an hour later at one of their numerous dining options. Upon arrival, parking at that little strip of restaurants on East Cesar Chavez is a bit treacherous. If you're not afraid of getting your steps in at 6 pm on a Friday, don't sweat it. Anyone else, good luck. There are a lot of different seating arrangements at Lil' Easy: the true outdoor patio with fans and umbrellas, the climate-controlled outdoor space that still brings the sun while still pumping A/C, and the traditional indoor space. Plenty of seating. The entire place was decorated with Mardi Gras beads and colors. Off the rip, we had to set the tone: I ordered a Pimm's Cup while my friend got some secret frozen swirl. We had to throw down an order of the Crawfish Queso as well. The food and drinks were served so quickly, we questioned if it was ours. The queso was De Nada's signature queso with Crawfish Étouffée mixed in. There are no tortilla chips on the side, but instead toasted bread. It's kinda like a DIY Crostini. The crawfish's flavor is a unique and savory balance to the cheesiness of the queso. Very delightful. We crushed it. My friend wanted to go wild. Another appetizer?? Their Shrimp Cocktail was thrown down immediately after ordering. The shrimp was great, but those house pickles were sneakily one of the best things they served us. Living the high life. Speaking of that, I ordered a High Life Pony as we made our main orders: a Fried Catfish Po'Boy and Fried Oyster Po'Boy. Both cut down the middle so we could have a little this, a little that. I think the bread, the catfish and the oysters, and the fries served alongside it were all incredible. My only issue was that the catfish po'boy had horseradish in it. That is a me issue, and I don't know why I can't stand horseradish. I don't know if it was hiding in their coleslaw or their rémoulade, but something was horseradish-y! I'd get the oyster po'boy again and again though! We closed the night with me being fun as I ordered their Frozen Espresso Martini with sprinkles and whipped cream because some other lady sitting nearby had that, and I WANTED TO BE FUN TOO. My friend got herself the seasonal nonalcoholic Arnold Palmer that was spiked with some Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka. Hers was great, but mine was basically a milkshake. I looked like a joyous kid with my drink. I was so very happy. They do give you lids for your drinks if you want to take them with you, but I planned to finish mine then and there. The gimme cups are also a nice touch and have their cute alligator mascot on them. Throughout the night, we could not believe how fast the service was at getting our meals and our drinks to us. Our waitress was absolutely on point the entire time we were there, constantly checking in on us and being extremely friendly and helpful in making sure we chose the right things and had a good meal ahead of us. Lil' Easy is casual, fun, and absolutely delicious. They have some of the best frozens in Austin, and their food is some of the best seafood and Cajun food I've had in Austin, hands down. Get over here. RIYL: crawfish and cocktails
