A coworker and I came out for work in this area and stumbled across Antone's on Yelp. We got a pastrami and turkey sandwich and they were absolutely delicious. The pastrami was hit and flavorful and the turkey was super tasty! Next time we come back out we will be stopping here again!

Pass by this place often and have been intrigued since authenticity is paramount to any culinary claims of cuisine with origins east of St Louis. Stopped by today and grabbed an Italian sausage Sub w/peppers and onions. Now NY, NJ, MA, CT natives who remember the 80's to 2ks all understand that very slight regional nuance aside this particular sandwich which is a staple at Italian street fairs, block parties and local pizzerias alike is unique to the region. It's prepped in such a way that the sautéed peppers, onions, and sausage fat blend and soak just enough into the toasted, soft, Italian bread to give it a soggy but not sloppy texture and incredible, distinct flavor throughout. Basic but unmistakable. Sounds easy right?, Much like music- if it was easy to create heveryone would be making music. 'You'll be back' I was told after a brief chat with one of the owners. Now, I probably should have taken a photo before I tasted this masterpiece that took me right back to Coney Island. I'm very happy to report that Antoine's is in the sandwich business and I'll def be back to try everything else on the menu.

The $14.99 sandwich was pre-cut and full of thick pieces of steak. There was a ton of arugula and pickled red onion. This was a very good homemade tasting sandwich of great quality. The market itself is pretty low key, very dense and small. It has everything you need but it doesn't have the produce that I would normally get at a Whole Foods or Good Earth. The service was good and it was very convenient to go to. We will definitely come back to get sandwiches here whenever we have a picnic nearby. It was convenient. The redwood park nearby did not disappoint.

We usually sit in the park behind the deli and look at the house boats while we eat our sandwiches. So nice. I love the sandwiches because they make all the meats and toppings fresh every day and create really creative, delicious sandwiches. It's hard to find sandwiches with real homemade meats and lots of veggies and homemade sauces that aren't mustard or Russian dressing. I also love the Twerks, which is the delicious veggie topping combo you can get on your sandwiches: Spinach, Arugula, Cucumber, Carrots, Radish, Beets, Green Sprouts & Bean Sprouts, Salt, Fresh Lemon, Pepper, Roasted Garlic and Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauces. I usually get the turkey pesto melt with the twerks, and it's a top five sandwich. I dream about it. I've tried some of the veggie wraps, my partner loves the pork sandwiches, and my daughter gets a grilled cheese on Dutch crunch. All delicious. The only negative is that the sandwiches are expensive and take a while but the quality and flavor make it worth it. We usually call ahead to order so we don't have to wait long.

I ordered the taquitos, which were described as such: "pulled chicken in corn tortillas, dip-fried, with salsa roja, queso cotija, sour cream and guacamole." I was charged $17.98. This may have included a small tip. I received two taquitos which had been chopped up into six pieces and placed over a few ounces of shredded lettuce, topped with about a tablespoon of guacamole, a tablespoon of pico de gallo, a more ample tablespoon of cotija, and a ramekin of salsa roja. All of it was quite frankly bad. For the price, it was borderline offensive. I challenge the assertion that the taquitos are handmade or dip-fried. They taste exactly like the frozen taquitos from Sam's Club. For the amount I was charged, I expected five, or at least three, but two? Really? None of the produce was fresh. The lettuce was browning. The salsa was going acidic. The guacamole was browning. The cotija was okay. Customer service was okay, but no level of customer service could make up for this terrible of a value, as far as the price and quality of the food.

You know, the one with the rooftop garden that's a little bit hard to get to, but you see it from Highway 101 North. I'm a fan of Amy's, but with a combination of bad staffing and quality control, it fell apart pretty quickly. Too bad because I think the idea should work anywhere that there is a McDonald's throughout the country. Maybe they'll get there one day? Well, Super Duper's a nice replacement. I always order the veggie burger with cheese. It's got a really nice bun and the texture of the patty is like a falafel, it even has bits of corn and carrots inside. The sauce is really good and you have an infinite amount of free pickles, just help yourself right out of the jar at the condiment table with the provided TUNGS. They are really good! The aesthetic is nice and clean, with a friendly accommodating staff. I also like the fact that the sinks for washing up are outside of the restroom. That's always a nice touch and there's a few restrooms to accommodate the patrons. I would expect nothing less from one of the top restauranteurs in the area! I mean, after all, this guy brought us Pasta Pomodoro years ago! And, a list of very successful innovative culinary delights under various names.
