Get the mixed berry pancake! My kid loved the potatoes which were seasoned lightly with herbs. Bacon and eggs were okay, pretty standard. Sourdough was quite crunch, a bit hard to eat. Overall, the breakfast fueled us up for a long day at the park! We came in early on a Monday morning. Parking is super limited in front but was able to find street parking about a block away. The diner style place had a few, what appeared to be regular customers at the counter, and a few at tables. The waiter was attentive but also very aware of giving me time / space to enjoy my time there. The menu had lots of options and prices were a bit higher but for the area it seemed typical. I shared the breakfast plate with my 3yr old and it was plenty for the both of us. It ended up being about $21 with taxes/fees.

    Fruit added too!

Great variety of Eggs Bennys Totally enjoyed sitting outside with my buddy talking to others all having some combo of the eggs Benedict! Service was pretty good but not as attentive given it was really busy! It was affordable! Look at the pictures of the zesty hollandaise sauce! I added a few photos as well. Been twice and will go again next time! Highly recommended!

Wanted to try a new brunch place in Marin and found this cute little spot. They have of great options on the menu. Their bottomless mimosas is only $14 on weekends which is a steal! I ordered the eggs Benedict & crab/lobster melt. Couldn't decide on one so we got both. Eggs Benedict 8/10 The hashbrowns were amazing Would even order as a side to eat on their own The eggs Benedict were lacking on the sauce And one egg on each of our plates were over cooked Crab/lobster melt 10/10 This was sooo good The fries were crispy and well seasoned Was craving it again even after we left Will def be coming here again

This is a very cute and cozy place. Total small town classy vibe. My bf and I stopped in here because we were early for an appointment. The service here was great, the food was just decent. My hash browns were a little burnt and the bacon was a bit to crispy for my taste. I love the idea of the fruit pancakes, but they didn't taste like normal pancakes. It was bit rubbery, almost like a mochi doughnut. It wasn't bad, just not the type of pancake I was expecting. For the price, with the amount we got, it wasn't a bad deal. It came with toast (not pictured) If we are in the area, we may come back and try something else. Overall, regardless it's still worth a try.

When I was browsing Yelp, I suddenly happened upon a restaurant with the category Scandinavian. That intrigued me and I decided to go for it. Apparently, this place is the nearest to my location, so Lighthouse Cafe here we are! It seems people were raving about the Danish meatballs, so I opted for their Danish Lunch Plate, which consists of Danish meatballs (tender!), roast beef (sauce makes me think Dijon mustard but I'm not sure. It was delicious, although the roast beef was a little on the tough side), pickles, beets, and some kind of herbed potato salad. It was a rather generous portion, so I'm satisfied. I wish there were more Scandinavian restaurants in this county, but yay for Lighthouse Cafe! Can't wait to peruse the "Danish Connection" page of their menu again haha. I went for brunch...if I go for breakfast next time, I'm tempted to try their Norwegian smoked salmon omelette or bagel & lox!

I had one of the best omelets I have ever had this morning here, the Norwegian omelet with lightly smoked salmon, spinach and a dollop of either cream cheese or sour cream - heaven. Hubby had a short stack of blueberry pancakes he said were delicious. Big portions, perfectly cooked food, friendly & fast service. Color us happy!

Away from the overcrowded shopping centers, slightly hidden in a nice neighborhood, this cafe serves delicious food and provides exceptional service. They do not serve Dinner but on the weekends, they serve bottomless mimosas The Lighthouse Cafe has an extensive breakfast menu so don't hesitate to try something new.

Loveeeeee a lil cute quaint cafe! Corte Madera is adorable and as an out of town NYer I was looking for a spot that's native to the town, something I can't get anywhere else. While the menu may be standard, the food is sourced locally and all freshly made. I had the steak sandwich and cole slaw and lemme tell you something, FRESH BABY! Somebody was back there making everything from SCRATCH! That ciabatta roll, the perfect balance of crunch yet softness. The onions & peppers were perfectly caramelized and the Swiss cheese compacted it all together. Def recommend!

The place is clean, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, and there is a large selection of pastries, scones, breads, and grab-and-go items. The staff is professional and efficient, though clearly busy, so do not expect a lot of chit-chat. I also picked up a box of Cheese Coins, which turned out to be dangerous because I loved them and ate the whole box. Good coffee, fresh pastries, easy seating, and enough tempting extras to make you buy more than you planned. I will probably stop by again tomorrow morning before leaving the area.

I'm not a regular and was unfamiliar with the process but it seemed disorganized. I was given a number. I noticed an ice tea on the counter and asked if it was for me. A little later, the pastry was bagged and on the counter in a different place. Finally, I saw a bag and asked. Yep. The sandwich. I felt like a dummy for not understanding how the system worked, but also was annoyed that I tipped 20% for a takeout order and it was delivered piecemeal with no way for me to carry it. A kind person who watch the whole thing offered me her bag. If not for her, I would have had a sandwich in a loose paper wrap, a bun in a small bag, and a cup. The sandwich was okay. It had two slices of bread, not the traditional three. The turkey was clearly deli meat, not fresh roasted, the lettuce was wilted immediately, the tomato slice was good, and the avocado slice was good. The bacon was sparse, as was the deli meat. My husband didn't eat much of it. He liked the cinnamon roll. But for the money, he didn't want to have food from there again.

The remodeled outdoor patio is really something to behold- it's a beautiful cozy setting, especially on a warm evening. For several years now this has been just about my favorite spot to go to in the bay area and certainly my number one Marin spot! Sometimes just to sit at the bar and have a nice exquisite craft cocktail is a complete joy. Their prices are still reasonable and rather competitive to other San Rafael cafes we go to, and the food quality and service are excellent. We were welcomed immediately, and placed drink orders while waiting for a straggler - there's always one! Being regulars over the years - or decades, more accurately - we all knew what we wanted. Our server, Luci, has been here seemingly forever, and quickly took our order. We had the Grilled MAC (mushroom, avocado, and cheese) with Swiss on Rye, and a side salad; a hamburger with fries; a Club sandwich, and another hamburger, this one with a side salad! The food came quickly and was very fresh. The fries were really good (I had to collect a "french fry tax" from another's plate) and were crispy yet not greasy. The side salads here are always different from other places, with lettuce, plus fresh and blanched vegetables like tomatoes (okay, a fruit!), carrots, cauliflower, bell peppers, kidney beans, red onion, broccoli, and I think zucchini. I may have missed one! Too much goodness, and delicous all together. The Grilled MAC is tasty, and the hamburgers disappeared quickly, while the Club was beautifully made. Overall, a pleasant casual lunch with friends and great food in a nice ambiance. Hope to be back soon, as I forgot how good this place always is!
