The park is a gem and easy drive to explore walking or hiking trails amidst the marina, or enjoy water sport activities. Mt second time here and actually got to enjoy the food, service, and the ambiance of a lake front view. The Memorial weekend BBQ meal was a good deal for its generous selection of food items.

The fries any my coffee were cold and the rest of the food was also very mediocre. The view was great from the restaurant. Otherwise, I don't think I would visit again. It was self service, be prepared to bus your own tables.

Such an underrated spot. Really enjoyed the brunch food and found service to be smooth. We ordered the eggs benedict which comes with a yogurt parfait and potatoes. The eggs were perfectly runny and the parfait had this fresh apple jam on top which made it a nice end to the meal. More than the food I really appreciated the ambience. There's lots of outdoor seating options. Even during weekend brunch with a group of 10+ we were able to find tables and seats easily. The outdoor seating also faces the Shoreline Lake which makes it such a calm and relaxing experience.

All breading, nothing else resembling chicken was edible.

Great setting, with excellent views of the lake. It was entertaining to watching windsurfers and kayakers battle the winds and refine their skills. Parking can be busy and challenging. We ordered lunch and sat ourselves at a great lakeview table. The birds overhead were a bit loud and others were hopping on the floor looking for food. Not a problem though. My friend had the Poke Rice Bowl, which looked and tasted good from her experience. I, unfortunately, ordered the 2-piece fried chicken for $20. Our cans of soda were not cold. The fried chicken was likely sitting all day and by 2:30, the rough, barely editable portions were the equivalent of two chicken wings. Bad choice for me. It came with mashed potatoes-- a bit runny, but not bad. It also came with green beans, which I didn't touch. If going, keep it simple, be prepared to overpay for mediocre food, but that is the payoff for a great view in at a cool park.

This place have a very nice seating with waterfront and Parisian vibes. They have French music to enjoy the moment and a variety of brunch and snacks. We had coffee and croissant pudding and both were delicious. The only reason am giving a 4 stars is the service. The server who took our order and served us seemed a little rude or maybe not in the mood. .

literally had the best croque madame of my life here, I just WISH it was part of the permanent menu instead of just for a one-day special this was so good, I rarely post reviews but had to for this place! Ambiance was also great with great jazz music and a gorgeous lake view (+ nice walking trails afterwards )!

Double decker club. Kind of a plane sandwich. I probably should have gone with a cheeseburger. Comes with kettle chips and greek salad.

Pleasantly surprised by the nice new tray for the cheeseburger. This place was to-go boxes only for a while, but now there are real plates and utensils again. The cheeseburger was much tastier than I expected. I just wish it came with fries instead of salad. And the cheese was a little funky -- I might request something other than cheddar next time. The cheesecake was better than the chocolate cake, but didn't blow my mind. Maybe I'll try the flan or the chocolate tart next time. Environment is lovely, as always.

My husband and I visited Shoreline Lake for a quick bike ride the other weekend, and I was surprised at home much there is to do in the area! Shoreline Lake seems like a great date or lunch spot, where you can go on a hike or do an activity, and then have a snack. There was free parking in front of the restaurant, and from there we were able to unload and explore the many trails around the lake. There's seating at the restaurant both inside and outside, and picnic tables near the restaurant if you bring your own food. The restaurant also had lockers and lake equipment rentals. For lunch, I had a chicken sandwich. The baguette was nice and the homemade chips were excellent. The flavors on the sandwich were just ok for me, so I would try the veggie burger next time. My husband had the breakfast sandwich, but my favorite part of the meal was the granola he got with it! Service was a little bit slow and there's not a ton of variety in the options, but the quality is good for the price. We will be back for a date another time. It also seems like a nice place to take family or out of town friends.

Shoreline Lake American Bistro is one of a kind. What a gem and true Bay Area treat. As I WFH at times, Shoreline Lake American Bistro offers a peaceful and productive ambiance. From a wide variety of lakeside dining options (I. E. Sandwiches, Soups, Salads), a blissful panoramic outlook of Shoreline Lake and reliable internet access - Thank you, Shoreline American Bistro!

I've stop on our walk around the lake, next to boat rentals, breakfast, lunch ,dessert menu.

As a speakeasy enthusiast myself I definitely agree to the fact that it is "hidden" but also it does kinda give corporate vibes a little bit - maybe we can say they "gentrified" the speakeasy experience which is honestly so funny for Palo Alto. But anyways I don't think a classification should stop you from visiting it. The food is actually surprisingly really good. We came with a pescatarian and honestly while the offerings for snacks were a bit slim, every option was really good. I feel like this was the first time where I understood the price even the the quantity is no where close to be desired. One shrimp is like $6 and I was like whoah. Service is definitely more laid back and it's overall just like a more chill atmosphere. I'm fortunate to work nearby so I'll definitely visit this place a few times after work to blow off some steam... And the drinks! Yes they are good! They are also quite strong! Would come back again but also if you're conscious of budget then I'm not sure if you'll find the same value proposition.

It came out quickly, crisp, and as cold as it gets. I also tried a shrimp dish from the "Steamed" section, and it was delicious. Their chicken was also larger than I expected, making it a good bang for your buck, especially if you plan on grabbing a few drinks. Excited to come back and try more of their cocktails!

Hey there Party People…read more Ok let's start but saying sports atmosphere is a 10. Great outside walked in Beer Garden as well as a full inside outside setup from the street. I would come here on game day for sure, as it is we were here to watch one of the World cup matches. This place is hopping We started with the giant Pretzel So soft and perfectly salted. The German Spicy Mustard was perfect as well as a sweet tomato Chutney. I had the Ribs and Mac & Cheese. The Mac a Cheese had a mild spicy flavor that you don't expect in a Mac & Cheese. Just made you want more. The ribs were dripping in sauce. Some people don't care for saucy ribs but the sauce was so good I was glad to need to lick my fingers. It was a perfect blend of Spicy and sweet. Best I've ever had bar none. Hubby had the Truffle Gnocchi. Thought it was really good. The cream sauce was surprisingly light not gut bomb heavy. The Gnocchi was light with perfect texture. Overall great dish. The one failure to the dinner was the Fish n Chips. The fish was extremely fishy in flavor which is not what Fish n Chips is supposed to be. My brother-in-law was the one eating it he stated the fish wasn't fresh must have been frozen. He loves fish n chips but marked this one at the bottom of the list. Be kind to one another

When it comes to any business that sells and/or serves alcohol, nothing, and I mean NOTHING,…read morecompares to a British and/or Irish pub. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. SUPPORT LOCAL AND/OR SMALL BUSINESSES. 4 stars
