After a long day on the road we opted for take out and wine. We ordered a pepperoni, spicy sausage and 1/2 onion pizza. The delivery was swift but our order wasn't correct, there were onions on the entire pizza. Despite onion-gate 2020 this pizza was phenomenal. I always enjoy a good pizza and really miss the Monster from Rosati's, but have to say the Works was pretty good. First time here, next time I will ask for it to be a tad crispier, house salad was good, egg on the side as I asked. We don't drink draft from any restaurant because of nasty nozzles and sitting in the tubes, so a better selection of local breweries (there are 4 I know of) would be awesome. Good kids play area outside with astroturf, but summertime will be brutal if no screening. Waitress Star at the bar was spot on. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a good experience. read more

Food is good but a few weeks ago when I tried to place a to go order, was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. Today I tried calling the restaurant multiple times over the course of 30 minutes trying to place another to go order, but no one answered the phone the whole time. When I arrived to the restaurant I was told I can't place a to go order, despite it being 10:45. I understand that it was close to closing, but I had already been trying to place my order over the phone for 30 minutes prior. I wasted gas driving across town to receive dismissive and unhelpful service. No point in trying to support this local business when their employees won't even let you order. read more

The service was pretty good, nothing special to really say. They provided a drinking bowl for my sisters dog apon asking for it. The restaurant was so busy we had to sit outside and it was HOT. The pizza was not really that great. The sauce on the pizza wasn't good and that didn't make too much sense to me because the marinara with the mozzarella was amazing. In the end the restaurant left me feeling disappointed, especially with all the great reviews I read on here. It could have just Been a bad day for the restaurant, I'm not too sure ‍. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat during my time at Baylor and one of the places I make sure to pop into when I visit Waco!! The prices are cheap and the pizza is delicious - basically the only two things a college kid who spent too many hours in the library can ask for. Staying at hotel - had stock 14" pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks delivered. Wifey and I couldn't remember a pizza we liked better, this coming from a couple of snobby pizza snobs. The cheese sticks weren't piping hot by the time they got to us so I can't give a fair review, they tasted great but let's be real, cheese sticks need to be hot and gooey if they're going to be scrutinized. First time coming here, and had high hopes because of the ratings. So I'll say the positives first, the pizza is great, just get it ToGo; skip on the pizza pockets, the only ingredient heavy one is the meat lovers, otherwise its mainly cheese and bread. Now for the negatives: didn't get greeted, had to ask for our table to be wiped down then handed a dirty rag to do it ourself. Then the service was EXTREMELY SLOW, the staff was inattentive, and aloof. My boyfriend and I were disgusted by the service, and the lack of respect. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of the good pizza, but I'd recommend just picking it up. I see it being a chill place for college kids (which I am one but not at Baylor) but that's if you know people working there. I heard about this place from a couple people so I decided to stop by and try out their pizza. What i got was thinner than the cardboard around it with a visible grease pond in the middle. It was so greasy i got a headache from it, which is a first. Altogether it was just a poorly done basic pizza. Definitely not some great pizza pie or anything i'd ever pay $12 for again. If you're looking for some really good pizza besides the chain restaurants check out marcos, they have some awesome pizza although its a bit pricy and out in china spring. Really good pizza. Went during lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't super busy, but there was a steady flow of people coming in. The fried pickles are pretty amazing. Super crunchy and the breading is seasoned well. I had a slice of the pepperoni. It was terribly greasy, but it was still greasy enough to feel it on the bottom of the crust. My person had two slices of the meat lovers and he liked it. He is a man of few words, so that's all I could get out of him. There is a good cheese to topping ratio. The crust was perfect- not too crispy with the right amount of doughy-ness. If I'm in the mood for pizza again while visiting Waco, I'll come back here. read more

This was an amazing Waco find! We needed a quick lunch option and this hit the spot! We ordered take out and it was ready in 15 minutes. I have never heard of pizza pillows before, but now, I will never forget them!! I would be 100% happier if I could sleep on one of these pizza pillows for the rest of my life. All joking aside, the food was fantastic. I would recommend the spinach n garlic pizza pillow 10/10 times. My wife got the Buffalo chicken one and also loved it!! This is a pretty solid neighborhood/college pizza joint. Haven't had the chance to dine in, but was really happy with take out. Went on the night of a football championship game on TV, so naturally it's packed. Very good vibe even when the place was busier than normal. Nothing rushed and no one high strung. Almost accidentally knocked over THE "Shorty", whose name and face is plastered on the establishment and the pizza box. Sorry dude, but it was cramped in there! Anyway, for the pizza - pretty good stuff. Nice and doughy, not overly thick. Love the fact that all sizes for pepperoni are 9.99. Big plus for someone like me who loves the topping. Also got the garlic cheese bread which in some ways was a little tastier than the pizza itself. The parking lot is a bit of a cluster, but that's the only real negative that jumped out at me. It's not the best or even the most flavorful pizza in the world, but for a road-weary traveler - it hit the spot. read more
