BLUF: Favorite coffee spot downtown, great attention to detail with all of their offerings, super cozy and charming vibe. Local business. I love this place, and consider it a gem of the downtown area and of the San Antonio coffee scene. I've never had a bad experience here, and I've never brought someone here that didn't fall in love with it. Their rotating seasonal menu is a well worth it indulgence, often combining flavor profiles I wouldn't ever think complemented one another so well. Not adventurous? They have all of the coffee shop staples and don't skip the attention to detail on any of them. They serve drinks to go, as you'd expect, but the real standout of Kiki's is from enjoying their beverages inside. They always go above and beyond with their presentation, each drink is Instagram ready if that's your thing. To reiterate though, you're not just getting a pretty drink, you're getting a pretty AND delicious drink. Dog friendly inside, and patio seating available as well. While their coffee drinks are their staple, on a few occasions I've opted to dine-in for breakfast and they've always knocked it out of the park. They also have alcohol, but I haven't sampled any of those offerings, if they put half as much care into their craft cocktails as they do they're coffee though I can't imagine being let down. Things worth knowing ahead of time: No dedicated parking lot, free street parking usually available nearby, but be prepared to walk a bit in case you can't find something super close.

Super cute coffee shop that is more than a coffee shop. They also have cocktails and food. The best part is that they are super dog friendly. You are allowed to have your dog inside as long as he or she is well behaved and on a leash. They do have outside seating as well.. Inside seating consist of couches, tables, and barstools against the window and bar. The inside area is small and a lot of the people that were there were either studying or doing work, so the tables don't free up as quickly. I ended up getting one of their iced seasonal lattes. I'm not a big fan of coffee ,so I can't tell you if it if it was excellent or not, but I enjoyed it. They have some amazing pastries available too. The chicken sandwich is good. It does have grapes. The chicken sandwich comes with truffle chips. Parking is available as street parking and depending the time you go, it might be difficult to find because the other businesses around there are also popular.

I have stopped in Kiki's many times while down at the pearl & it has been fantastic every time! I often like to try their seasonal specialties & today was no different. I grabbed the strawberry matcha off their featured menu (had seasonal flare I wish I could remember). The aesthetic is always so cozy & the employees extremely kind and welcoming. Also must add that it's dog friendly which is the perfect addition to any place in this area!

I had this coffee shop bookmarked on my Yelp profile. I finally got a chance to visit and it was such a wonderful experience! They are a coffee and spirits shop but they do have light bites as well. I ordered the honey lavender cheesecake latte and it was absolutely delightful!!! So so good that I ordered 2! I also ordered the chicken salad sandwich with truffle chips and Ohhhh myyyyy!!! Delicious! But the truffle chips were phenomenal!! My Sis ordered the kikiposa drink and the avocado toast to eat. After our meal we ordered pastries, of course! I got the cinnamon bun and my sis ordered the chocolate croissant AND the blueberry muffin! We feasted because everything was THAT good! Not to mention the amazing service! The kindest staff and everything came out promptly despite how busy they were. A lot of people were there working/studying. Aesthetic?! Unmatched! So cute and chic! Did I mention it's all doggie decor?! So fitting since there's a dog park across the street. There's some outdoor seating too. Overall, great experience, highly recommend, AND I can't wait to return!

My mom and I had a lovely time here. Not only were the drinks wonderful and charcuterie board so tasty, but the over all ambience of the cafe is spectacular. It was so cozy, so stylish, so chic! I'd pick Kiki's over any other cafe in the area simply for its environment any day. The baristas were both very kind and helpful, creating delicious drinks and also helping with water and anything else I needed. I Will absolutely be returning!!

The boyfriend and I came here one day while out walking in the area. We stopped by not knowing anything about the place except his nickname is also "Kiki", so that was enough to lure us in. We loved it the moment we walked in! The decor inside is cute, and it is dog themed (which we loved) but not over the top or tacky. Specially the owners dog, Kiki, for whom the place is named after. They're featured in almost every photo and it adds to the theme rather than take away. When it comes to the drinks, I wasn't sure what to order so I asked the person at the counter (which turned out to be the owner) what she recommended. I usually go for mocha drinks but her suggestion was delicious! I would definitely come back.

Loooove the white mocha matcha and the French toast here and the dog themed everything from the paper towel rolls, the dispenser for the syrup, to the art on the wall. The service is so nice and welcoming and I love taking my dog there. The WiFi is perfect and it's a great place for families, students, work meetings, and dogs!

Can't remember the name but has coffee in it and was delicious

Looking for an elevated coffee/drink experience? You must check out Kiki's! Offering both alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks in a beautifully decorated environment, Kiki's is the perfect place to be. Isaiah meticulously crafts delicious creations while providing top tier customer service, he is my fav! Kiki's also offers yummy baked treats in addition to the delectable drinks. Bring your laptop and stay awhile or bring a book and enjoy the afternoon!

Cool dog friendly coffee and bar that serves up great drinks. Coffee throughout the day, alcoholic beverages in the evenings. There is a dog park across the street so I'll go with my dog to get a coffee and then take her to the dog park. The staff are friendly and the interior design is very cool!

This is a recent favorite coffee shop in my household. It's such a cozy place with fun decor. The drinks are feel beautifully crafted. It's also very dog friendly (and dog themed). A good place to get work done.

The decor inside this coffee shop is everything!!!! It is such a vibe and a perfect place to do work or chat with friends. They currently have a holiday menu of drinks in addition to their main menu. I got the lavender matcha, which was so yummy and had the perfect balance of lavender and matcha. It's a great drink for matcha drinkers who may not necessarily like the strong matcha taste. My only complaint is that my drink took longer than expected to be made, but the quality was worth the wait!

Dirty Orange Crush (shot of expresso, OJ, simple syrup and milk)! Definitely recommend!

Recommend: Definitely yes! I needed a chill place to finish out my goal setting for the year and finish up some reading. This was close by and had good reviews. This is definitely one of those places that I agree with the rest of my fellow yelpers. It's so cute! The music is great, plenty of seating options, and good atmosphere. Food: I did not try any of their food options but I did try their Dirty Orange Crush. It's a shot of espresso, orange juice, simple syrup, and milk. Sounded a bit "odd" but it was recommended by the barista and said if I didn't like it, I could get something else. So glad I went with her recommendation. It was so yummy! The espresso got my thinking skills going...lol. Service: The service was great! The barista answered my questions, gave me her recommendation, and throughout my visit they checked in to ensure all was well and if I needed anything else. Ambiance: I really loved the ambiance. It sorta of feels like a place where you can become a regular, it's within walking distance from many apts, and there is also a dog park across the street. I loved the quiet/cozy atmosphere but I can see it getting pretty busy and loud due to its location to all the apts. I wish it was close to where i live, I'd sure be there a lot . In addition, Kiki's welcomes pets! So this would be a great stop as pet parents take their pets to the dog park.

So I went to Bar 1919 in Southtown, a tucked-away speakeasy-style bar. I'd heard it could be difficult to find, and that mystery is part of the charm. Once I stepped inside, I was struck by how polished and inviting it felt: low amber lighting, dark wood, intimate seating, and a quiet hum of conversation that made the room feel removed from the rest of the city. The atmosphere was elegant without feeling stiff. The dim light glowed against the bar, and the cozy layout made it easy to settle in. There was something satisfying about searching for the entrance and then emerging into such a carefully designed space. [NAME] took care of me, and the service was warm and attentive. The Modernist -- A True Speakeasy Experience in San Antonio…read more If you're in downtown San Antonio, take a break from the River Walk and check out The Modernist. This is a true speakeasy-style lounge that's easy to overlook from the outside--it looks like a regular, unassuming place. But once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The interior is cozy, intimate, and has that hidden-gem feeling you want from a speakeasy. The staff members are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I had the pleasure of having Adan behind the bar, and this guy knows how to make a good drink! As always, I started with my go-to Old Fashioned. I have to say, it was easily one of my top two Old Fashioneds I've ever had. Then I told Adan to surprise me, and he came up with some kind of peanut butter chocolate martini. Let me just say... it was a true pleasure. Rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. What I really liked about The Modernist is that it feels like a place the locals actually frequent rather than just another tourist spot. I genuinely had a great time here. If you're visiting San Antonio and find yourself downtown, give The Modernist a try. Step away from the River Walk for a little while--you might just discover your new favorite spot.

For her second drink, she told the bartender to surprise her. He gave her a look and asked more than once if she was sure she wanted him to surprise her. Instead of making her an actual cocktail, he poured her what seemed to be a straight, extremely bitter liqueur. The whole interaction felt sarcastic and like he was intentionally messing with her rather than trying to make her something she would enjoy. What bothered me most was the attitude behind it. We weren't being rude, demanding, or causing problems. We were there to have a good time and experience the whole "tell us what you like and we'll make you something" concept. I did call the number listed for the business afterward trying to speak to someone about it. The person who answered said I had the wrong number and didn't know what I was talking about. I got angry during that call and said some things I shouldn't have, and I can admit that. But that doesn't change how disappointing the experience at the bar was. We expected a creative and welcoming experience and instead left feeling like my wife had been mocked. I hope management sees this and addresses it, because the concept of the place is great, but the way we were treated completely ruined it for us
