I never really leave reviews but I went in the first time and was told the frozen hot chocolates are the same size (since small and large are listed). Great service and I had it there. The next time I went in another lady told me there was a size difference in the small and large, figuring it was different for takeout and so I ordered those to go. They were both the same size and a $4 difference. Not sure why she would hand me my two drinks and feel the need to point out which one is large and which is small when they're the same size. Ok but really, it doesn't matter what time of day it is, if Kiki's is open you owe it to yourself to drop in. The friendly and spunky staff here is ready to serve up good conversation, good coffee, good food, and good alcoholic beverages - and they do a darn good job of it, too. Sit on their patio and enjoy the passersby, or post up inside and ask for a "squatter's cup" (don't ask for this I made it up) to enjoy their drip coffee and free refills while you get some work done. Or just chill and enjoy the music! I haven't eaten anything here yet, but the if the smells are any indication the food is awesome. Oh! Not very nice. A small coffee and a pastry was $15 not including tip. I felt a little robbed with how expensive everything was. Had two dogs bark at us when we tried to sit down. How could this place be better? Be reasonable with prices. If you're going to sell coffee for that much, really great service would be nice. If you're going to sell pastries that nice, quality fresh ingredients would be nice. If you have more space in the front for people waiting for coffee to stand, that would be nice. My mom and I had a lovely time here. Not only were the drinks wonderful and charcuterie board so tasty, but the over all ambience of the cafe is spectacular. It was so cozy, so stylish, so chic! I'd pick Kiki's over any other cafe in the area simply for its environment any day. BLUF: Favorite coffee spot downtown, great attention to detail with all of their offerings, super cozy and charming vibe. Local business. I love this place, and consider it a gem of the downtown area and of the San Antonio coffee scene. I've never had a bad experience here, and I've never brought someone here that didn't fall in love with it. Their rotating seasonal menu is a well worth it indulgence, often combining flavor profiles I wouldn't ever think complemented one another so well. Not adventurous? They have all of the coffee shop staples and don't skip the attention to detail on any of them. They serve drinks to go, as you'd expect, but the real standout of Kiki's is from enjoying their beverages inside. They always go above and beyond with their presentation, each drink is Instagram ready if that's your thing. To reiterate though, you're not just getting a pretty drink, you're getting a pretty AND delicious drink. Dog friendly inside, and patio seating available as well. While their coffee drinks are their staple, on a few occasions I've opted to dine-in for breakfast and they've always knocked it out of the park. They also have alcohol, but I haven't sampled any of those offerings, if they put half as much care into their craft cocktails as they do they're coffee though I can't imagine being let down. Super cute coffee shop that is more than a coffee shop. They also have cocktails and food. The best part is that they are super dog friendly. You are allowed to have your dog inside as long as he or she is well behaved and on a leash. They do have outside seating as well.. Inside seating consist of couches, tables, and barstools against the window and bar. The inside area is small and a lot of the people that were there were either studying or doing work, so the tables don't free up as quickly. I ended up getting one of their iced seasonal lattes. I'm not a big fan of coffee ,so I can't tell you if it if it was excellent or not, but I enjoyed it. They have some amazing pastries available too. The chicken sandwich is good. It does have grapes. The chicken sandwich comes with truffle chips. Parking is available as street parking and depending the time you go, it might be difficult to find because the other businesses around there are also popular. read more

I had this coffee shop bookmarked on my Yelp profile. I finally got a chance to visit and it was such a wonderful experience! They are a coffee and spirits shop but they do have light bites as well. I ordered the honey lavender cheesecake latte and it was absolutely delightful!!! So so good that I ordered 2! I also ordered the chicken salad sandwich with truffle chips and Ohhhh myyyyy!!! Delicious! But the truffle chips were phenomenal!! My Sis ordered the kikiposa drink and the avocado toast to eat. After our meal we ordered pastries, of course! I got the cinnamon bun and my sis ordered the chocolate croissant AND the blueberry muffin! We feasted because everything was THAT good! Not to mention the amazing service! The boyfriend and I came here one day while out walking in the area. We stopped by not knowing anything about the place except his nickname is also "Kiki", so that was enough to lure us in. We loved it the moment we walked in! The decor inside is cute, and it is dog themed (which we loved) but not over the top or tacky. Specially the owners dog, Kiki, for whom the place is named after. They're featured in almost every photo and it adds to the theme rather than take away. The decor inside this coffee shop is everything!!!! It is such a vibe and a perfect place to do work or chat with friends. They currently have a holiday menu of drinks in addition to their main menu. Food: I did not try any of their food options but I did try their Dirty Orange Crush. It's a shot of espresso, orange juice, simple syrup, and milk. Sounded a bit "odd" but it was recommended by the barista and said if I didn't like it, I could get something else. So glad I went with her recommendation. It was so yummy! The espresso got my thinking skills going...lol. Service: The service was great! The barista answered my questions, gave me her recommendation, and throughout my visit they checked in to ensure all was well and if I needed anything else. Ambiance: I really loved the ambiance. It sorta of feels like a place where you can become a regular, it's within walking distance from many apts, and there is also a dog park across the street. I loved the quiet/cozy atmosphere but I can see it getting pretty busy and loud due to its location to all the apts. I wish it was close to where i live, I'd sure be there a lot . In addition, Kiki's welcomes pets! So this would be a great stop as pet parents take their pets to the dog park. read more

The ambiance was great--such a beautiful setting, both indoors and out. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the vibe. I ordered a peach Bellini, spicy margarita, and a charcuterie board and sat outside. After about 30 minutes of chatting, I realized nothing had arrived, so I went inside to check. I was told, "We're short-staffed." Meanwhile, a table that sat down at least 20 minutes after us had already been served their food and drinks. In total, it took about 45 minutes to an hour to get everything--$56 worth of TWO drinks and a board. All we got in response were repeated "we're short-staffed" comments. Honestly, it wasn't that busy, so it didn't feel like a justifiable excuse. Beautiful place, but service needs serious improvement. read more

We came here back in February, so I don't really remember a whole lot, but we did try out their seasonal drinks. The barista was helpful with deciding what I should get, and I finally decided on the Swipe Right Matcha Latte, which I think was strawberry flavor...? My husband on the other hand go the Puppermint Mocha (espresso, peppermint mocha syrup, milk, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and crushed candy cane) which he enjoyed as well. It's a nice little place to hang out with your pups while enjoying a good matcha or coffee, but I believe there is also a little dog park right across, so you can also grab some coffee and have your fur babies run around! Very upscale-looking rich, dark, wood decor, very pleasant ambiance - frankly almost like a cigar-lounge kind of vibe - but without the cigars! This place is absolutely beautiful to be a little coffee shop. This was my second time going there, I recommend it to my friend for our date. I had the glazed croissant ($6.50) (PRICEY) and fall special cold brew. Oh man that was possibly the worst coffee I've ever had. My croissant was meh my friends almond croissant was however amazing. She said she liked her drink, some horchata latte that i originally l thought about. My drink was absolutely not it. It was pumpkin based but the sauce was super thick at the bottom and got stuck in the straw, it had 0 pumpkin flavor and I had to try to doctor it too much and it still had a odd taste. Honestly would have been better going to Central Market because they rarely miss. I will go back for the espresso martini because it looks amazing and honestly the place it self is mesmerizing but you gotta find the right drink. read more

Anyone who's been on my Yelp page knows coffee shops are my main "thing" for reviews. "Cynthia T.? Oh yeah, she's the one that tries every coffee shop she can." When I got Bucky, my Boston Terrier, my coffee shop expeditions reduced significantly because I feel bad leaving him behind. This was not the case with Kiki's Coffee. I was finally able to bring my little man with me to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and dog-friendly shop. Kiki's is off Broadway and Jones, and parking is a little stressful (especially if you're terrible at parallel parking like me) but once all that is out of the way, you're rewarded with an adorable street-side (fenced-in) patio and a lovely and inviting interior. Kiki's has a respectable menu, mimosas, and a selection of pastries. For our first visit, I went with my usual order when I go anywhere: a cortado and a latte. I asked the barista if dogs are ok on the furniture and she said yes, so Bucky and I sat on the couch as we waited for our drinks. It wasn't busy at all, so the wait wasn't very long. The cortado was the perfect temperature, bitter, and a little acidic (more than I care for), but it still went down smoothly. The latte had some caramel flavor that wasn't overpowering, so it wasn't overly sweet. I feel like the latte went down even more quickly and smoothly than the cortado! I want to become a regular patron here, because I don't like leaving my little man behind. Bonus: Maverick Dog Park is right across the street! When the weather cools, I can absolutely imagine starting our day at Kiki's before going to the park. read more

I'd be willing to give this place another shot. The views and decor were exceptional like everyone says, and I loved "dog watching" (way better than people watching!) I just had a disappointing experience because their great menu was out of stock of most items. (Visited at 1pm on a Saturday). You walk in and see all these signs, get excited, and then they're out of everything. Maybe take them down/put up another advisory sign if you're out of stuff? Even the barista saw us looking- could've said "hey we've only got these items in the glass case you see". So that was kind of a let down. It's a small place, you might end up cozy next to another group in the corner white tables. They've got 2 bathrooms, not gender specific, and one of them the toilet was backed up pretty bad. The latte was alright, i loved the artwork. It's a photoworthy spot but if you start to look a little closely at the floor you'll see dried spilled food and crumbs everywhere. Such a cute cafe! My friend and I really loved the interior and the theme/concept of this cafe. This place is dog-friendly. We saw many people came in with their doggies. Also, we could see Kiki walking around inside randomly and we felt so lucky lol I ordered a cup of cappuccino. It looked beautiful and tasted great! I wanted their weekend special; bagel, but unfortunately it was sold out so I ordered chicken salad sandwiches, which was okay. My friend ordered an avocado toast with pesto that looked lovely and she enjoyed it. I also purchased an almond croissant and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin for to-go. I really like the muffin. Sooooo! The baristas, Isiah and Meg, knew that today is my birthday. I came in today and they had a gift card waiting for me for my birthday!
