Wow. What a waste of time. Kyle keeps reaching out to buy my car--claims he will beat anyone's offer. Says when I am "tired of dealerships playing games, I am here." Turns out they are there to just play more games than the last dealership. Kyle hooked me up with Colton. Wasn't even interested in trading (just wanting to sell)--didn't want a Ram to begin with, but agreed to look. We spent a silly amount of time talking about the required specs. Said I found one on their website that I would consider looking at. They were certain it was there, but couldn't find the keys (seems like we could have looked at it even without keys, if it actually existed). So, he tried to show me another one that didn't meet my requirements at all. I asked why I would want to look at one that I wouldn't possibly buy. He just stared at me. I can't recommend Shottenkirk Jeep Prosper based on my experience. Brought in my Wrangler for a coolant leak that another shop diagnosed as water pump. After a week, "no leak found." Paid $900 for a thermostat, still losing coolant. Promised a loaner to bring it back in -- that was Sept 29. No contact since. When I told the manager I'd take it to Frisco Jeep, his reply was: "Hopefully they can find something." That's not customer service. read more

I got a new 2026 ram limited and the purchase process was great and went well. But the night I am taking the vehicle to home, I see some notifications pop up and says need service. I had to drop off the vehicle within less than a week. Since then I don't have the vehicle till today and was told I have to wait for the part, which they don't have an ETA even after more than a month. Though they gave me a loaner, I still feel bad for not having my new vehicle. And I have to reach out to them every week or every time for an update. They don't update on their end. They, Mike and Richard Battle, tried to rise the price by $2800 citing "reconditioning fee". This is completely illegal. Richard's direct quote " we can refuse to sell a car to anyone" my husband asked on what grounds did they not want to sell it to us - Richard said "the price was advertised incorrectly". The management is terrible I could tell from our conversation that he was not happy that his employee let me test drive more than one car so I could compare them. Things did not go well after the test drive, the Manager, Abraham came in the room to talk to me and Tada, the salesman after I test drove the cars the manager was very rude. He asked me about the Nissan Rogue after I told him I like the car very much the way it drove and everything, except I didn't like the gear shifter button that much and I will have to get used to it, and there's no moon roof but I can live without it, and there's, no leather seats or AWD and he took the printouts on car and the car fax from me and tore them up in pieces in front of me and the salesman & said well then that's not the car for you. When I actually wanted to take the print- outs home and let my husband see them to make a final decision. The manager had also implied well who's going to buy the car anyways, you or your husband? The car was for me of course but he didn't have to be rude about it after all I am married and we share expenses. He also insisted that I put $18,000 down on the new Compass that I liked better and finance the rest when I told him I wanted to buy a car I can just pay off and not make payments. When I got home, I spoke to my husband about the way this big shot, manager, Abraham treated me and how he walked off at the end. My husband doesn't want me to come back to their dealership after the way Abraham , the manager treated me. I also don't think he was being very respectful and nice in front of Tada. Tada was very nice, respectful, and very patient as a salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the cars I test drove and he tried his best to come up with the best possible choice. I wish Tada lots of luck but the boss over his head was too much. I will not be coming back to that dealer. I also wouldn't want to do deal with their kind of dealer and management for future repairs if I buy a car from them, either. I will not be returning here. After buying three vehicles, I am livid with the lack of communication, and the dishonesty that comes out of this dealership. In July, one of the sales associates, Ryke, who is no longer there, contacted me in regard to trading in my truck, and we decided to do so. Upon deciding to proceed with the purchase, I inquired with Kha the business manager, who is also no longer there, about Ram Care with the free oil changes and tire rotations and I was told yes, they are included and that it won't show up right away as there was an issue with the Ram Connect. After being given the run around for 4 months from Val Gutierrez, a customer coordinator, and Meera Mcewen, the finance director, I finally spoke with Mike Abed, the sales manager. He stated that apparently Ram Care was never available, and I was given misinformation, and the fact that it was verbally agreed upon, and Meera stated in writing that she would issue it, they can not do so. If Kha was still employed, he could possibly honor the verbal agreement, but now it's he said she said. I was told by another staff member, that if I did my research, I would have known that. The amount of swindling that this dealership does is ridiculous. Don't waste your time if you want to get screwed over. If you do choose the purchase from this dealership, make sure you get every little thing in writing as they will try to swindle their way out of it. read more

Worst experience ever at a car dealership. I am 69, so I have been through a lot of car transactions. First they list a price online that is not correct. They bring you a piece of paper that says this is the final price. OK I am thinking tax, title, etc - that's about right. No, later I find out it is refurbishment fees they add on top of the online price. They push all these warranties which I consistently said no. High pressure applied, and we were there for hours. Got there at 9 and by 2, we were exhausted and starving. I have to admit I did not pay enough attention. When I got home, I saw they added a $6000 warranty. I was able to contact the warranty company, cancel and get most of it applied back on the loan. Called management to complain, left messages never got called back. Bough my our 3rd vehicle from this dealership today. They have been a mixture of new and pre-owned. Today we bought pre-owned and Mr. St Louis helped us. He was FANTASTIC!! We knew we wanted a jeep wrangler for our daughter. He showed us cars with our described features and also recommended another one that had what we wanted plus a button to open the top of the jeep. You can tell he's a proud dad and knew this would work well for our daughter. I can't thank him enough for this- that was the perfect jeep for us! Ok, 3rd review for these guys. I've upgraded to a 4 purely due to their customer service. As I've previously stated started out pushy, I'm a lets get going and get it done type person, so didn't want to spend a lot of time purchasing a vehicle. Anyway, 3rd experience with this due to hail repair they performed on our truck. After initially told they were not going to repair the truck bed cover and contacting them first, rather than getting upset or going at this from a legal standpoint, they replaced the cover and had the truck ready for us today. If you end up getting mad at the situation or being a Karen/Carl, then you may not get far. A simple email explaining our request and a quick response back from them was all it took. Just some feedback. This dealership was One of those visits where you feel like you wasted time coming out to visit. Leaves an icky feeling after you're done talking to them. Price inflated with "add-ons" neither mentioned online or in person until you talk prices. In this case they wanted to add $1600 for new tires they put on and brake fixes. I mean if it's part of the cost then add it to the price before people come out is all I ask. Then they seem like they are heroes when they say they will go ahead and give that internet price to me since I walked away after they inflated the price. To be fair, Nadee was nice enough salesman and Beijan in finance kind enough to call me and discuss over the phone after I left so I'm sure there's other positives. All cool. 10 minutes later, she calls me over in order to determine where I'd purchased it. while we are talking, short-bearded man appears and announces they no longer program key fobs not purchased there, I had to buy one from them. Earlier this month, I visited with this dealership multiple times over four days, exchanging calls and texts to negotiate the price of a new car. From the start, I made it clear that I wanted an "All In" or "Out the Door" price--meaning the total cost with no hidden fees. I repeated this many times during our discussions. We agreed on a final price, and the dealership ran a hard credit check. Then, suddenly, at the next step they added $6,000 to the price. Despite speaking with several people, the dealership refused to honor the price their employees had agreed upon, offering only a $500 discount on the new price for the confusion. Worse car buying experience ever! Filled out an online information form knowing I would receive a call. I received a call and then a text from Daniel the Internet Manager. Was driving from almost a hour away so I didn't want to wait around on someone when I got there. Received several calls and Text. Let them know what vehicle I wanted to drive. He said he would have a sales specialist waiting on me. What a joke! We got a young person that was probably their first car sells. Did not even know the selling process. Didn't have the keys to the vehicle I wanted to test drive but had keys to another vehicle I wanted to see. So we went on a test drive. Wouldn't allow me to look over that vehicle while she got me the one I really want to see. Then we go inside for her to get the keys. She goes over while we wait. We see her eating her dinner while we waited. Then she walks over and tells they are having trouble with their key machine and it will be a while so we would just have to wait. I said no we don't, and we just left. She told me we needed to speak to the manager. Not worth the time spent. Save the hassle and go somewhere that have competent employees that know how to sale a vehicle and can get to the keys. read more

Sales Only Review: We worked with Clinton R. and had a great experience. He was patient, honest, and made us feel really comfortable throughout the process. We went in with a few vehicles in mind, but he actually suggested we alter our plans slightly, which totally worked out. He brought out a few cars for us to consider and was happy to let us test drive each one, which was really helpful. We did go back and forth a bit on price, but Clinton didn't hesitate to negotiate on our behalf. We had a budget in mind, he was respectful of that and worked without judgement to help us secure a deal we were comfortable signing. Dave T. in finance was great, as well! He was super personable and patient, answering all questions along the way. Only snag: We found a detail in error on our paperwork when we got home. Just be sure to get that final price sheet in your settled offer if you're negotiating. You want to see those terms in black and white, printed from their system, before signing. (This was a bummer but not significant enough to deduct a star in our rating. In the end, we signed the paperwork and have now learned we just need to be more diligent on our part next time.) On another note, this dealership is huge. They've got a wide inventory and a ton of sales folks. This could be overwhelming if you're coming in without a clear idea of what you're looking for. Super clean inside, complimentary water, drinks, and tea/coffee were appreciated. Overall, our experience was positive and we're happy with our car! This review is based on the service dept. horrible experience first they can't figure out what is wrong with a DRL that was not turning on and then they wanted to charge me over $400 to do a more extensive diagnostics. When I refused the more extensive diagnostics they wanted to charge me $220 for the diagnostics that didn't find out the issue. These people are crazy never going to them again. This dealership is an unorganized and negligent entity who does not care about its customers. I've had multiple issues that have gone on for months after purchasing this vehicle. Upon my purchase, I had a pushy sales manager who stressed that their $1,500 "reconditioning fee" guarantees that the dealership provide a multi-point inspection to ensure the vehicle I purchased has been properly repurposed for sale. This reconditioning fee that they insist they tack onto the sale was incomplete at best. Two days after I had the car, the brake fluid flush maintenance came on and said it hadn't been done six months prior to my purchase. Two weeks later, an oil change light came on, stating the oil already needed to be changed. In order to fix these issues, I had to go to the dealership two extra times to resolve. They were unable to clear the service lights on my car after they processed the work, thus the car didn't recognize the work was done. The service manager suggested I take it to the manufacturer to clear the service lights (a third trip). On top of that I never received a service record for both visits. Upon taking my car to the manufacturer, they cleared the service lights and inspected the vehicle further. They stated that two brake pads on the car were also needing to be replaced. I called back this dealership and spoke to the sales manager, He refused to replace the pads, stating this is standard practice for the dealership to do a bare minimum pass of parts for state inspection. Over the past two years, I have purchased cars from Acura, Toyota, and Carmax. I've never had to pay a reconditioning fee to purchase a vehicle. I have also never had the service issues like I've had with Shottenkirk. My advice - do not settle to pay the reconditioning fee. My experience with them shows this is shoddy work at best by a dealership whose primary goal is to maximize its profits and forgo a good customer experience. read more

The communication was very responsive when I was expressing my initial interest in a vehicle that was at a good price. I asked them about using my bank for financing and was told that wouldn't be a problem. I get there and find out the vehicle was almost 4k more than the "no hassle" sticker price. Then spend over 2 hours with their people trying to "beat my rate" only to find out that the couldn't and I could finish up on Monday with my bank. I called and got no response then spoke to a manager who informed me that they don't do outside financing but my bank could send a cashiers check. I let them know that I would just walk away from the deal, and magically they came back with a rate that was just below my banks rate and everything was ready in 20 minutes. Long story short- They have good prices but be prepared to haggle wait, and negotiate. read more

When i reach the location as per the scheduled appointment time for my surprise, they informed me that that service advisor that i was supposed to meet is no longer working for them(been around 3months he is not with them) and then they mention that they don't honor appointments on weekends and its a first come first sir and my wait time was about 4hours. Now here comes a service advisor who says its all a mess and going forward please call/text before and schedule instead of scheduling with the call center. I didn't expect this from jeep.
