I tried to purchase a used F-150 for my son advertised as a Manager's Special for 34,399 ..The sales consultant was very kind and we also discussed the possibility of me purchasing another Ford in the coming months--a Raptor R. Unfortunately, the sales manager Jesus, got irritated at me, because how I dare and ask to check with the Edwin Rivera, the GM, since I've seen his advertisement in FB, would absolutely not agree to an out-the-door price of 35K and was firm at 39,344K...the advertising said 34K!! Because of that, the dealership lost a deal over 4K as well as a potential long-term customer who was considering a future Raptor R purchase for my self. I remember when this dealership was being built and had high hopes that it would become a great dealership for our town. I even have a photo here with my 2019 GT350. I finally had a day off and came in hoping to buy a truck for my kid, which plays football for our local HS expecting this to be the best dealership in town. In today's economy, pricing and customer service matter more than ever. The worst! Once they have your money, they forget all about you. I had to call repeatedly so that I could pick up the car I purchased. I was paying for a rental car, and they kept pushing out the pick up date. I ended up paying more for a rental car I wouldn't have needed if they had delivered my car. I paid $500 for a second key, and it took over a month of calls, taking the car to them and constant nagging on my part to finally get it. I have had the car for 3 months and have already had to pay $900 in repairs, and now I am worried about my transmission. I am retired, living on a fixed income, and I feel like these guys took advantage of me. They threw in a vehicle maintenance plan which is useless (thus the $900 bill). Beware : Read This ********************READ THIS********************** I have never left reviews , but I feel I need to share my experience. I purchased a used Ford F-150 Raptor from Ford Prosper, along with a $6,500 extended MPP warranty, because I wanted peace of mind. Unfortunately, just two weeks after buying the truck, it left me stranded on the side of the road and had to be towed back to the dealership because a turbo hose clamp came loose and caused a vacuum leak. Thankfully, that repair was covered. It was just a headache. Since then, it has been one problem after another. The transmission was shifting extremely hard, the rear differential had a loud whining noise, and there was a clunking sound from the front passenger side that required suspension repairs. These issues were brought up during the test drive, and I was assured they would be covered under the extended warranty. Some were, some were not, and the truck ended up spending more than a month in the shop. I have now owned this truck for only nine months and driven it just 7,000 miles. It has already required roughly $15,000 in warranty repairs, and now the check engine light is on because both catalytic converters have failed. I'm now being told there are approximately $7,000 in repairs that are not covered. That means this truck has needed around $21,000 in repairs in only nine months of ownership. It is difficult to believe that a vehicle requiring this level of repair truly passed a thorough inspection before being sold. there response was when we soupd it our report says everything checked out how is that possible if these issues were present during the test drive me in good fait trusted that theyll be covered by the $6,500 extended warranty. plus later came to find out the truck had a stage 2 tune that was never mentioned. I'm not trying to blame any one employee because everyone I've spoken with has been polite. My disappointment is with the dealership as a whole the name FORD and upper management . A customer should not experience this many major mechanical failures after purchasing what was represented as a reliable, inspected vehicle. I'm currently working with Ford Corporate in hopes they will help take accountability for what has turned into a very expensive and frustrating situation. We purchased a 2023 Ford Expedition and were sold several optional products that, after reviewing our paperwork and speaking directly with the warranty company, were not what we believed we were purchasing. We had a great experience with the purchase itself, & we feel confident in our car (hence the two stars) It's the afterwards financing where things got dicey. When we were able to view our loan on the capital one app we discovered the loan was $3-4k more than anticipated. We immediately reviewed our paperwork... In the office- we were told the warranty was bumper-to-bumper coverage and were under the impression it would cost around $2,300. We had done the math in his office and asked "so about $2,300?" And he said "about that..." we were also told we could go to any ford dealership for repairs (that was important to us because we traveled from out to town to purchase this car). after reviewing our financing documents, we discovered that more than $4,000 had been financed for the warranty. & the paper also said we were required to go back to that dealership for repairs). When we contacted the warranty company (to cancel), we learned the coverage was much more limited than we had been led to believe. It was only a transmission, engine, and electronic warranty. The warranty company was disappointed it was described that way and agreed it was misleading. Thankfully, we were able to cancel it within the 30-day cancellation period with the warranty company MPP. The biggest "red flag" LoJack. We specifically told the finance office that we did not want it. We were told it had already been installed and that we were responsible for paying for it, so we believed it was not optional. Even though it was listed as optional expense... we were also told it cost $499 and that it was not a subscription. When we reviewed our paperwork, we learned that more than $1,000 had been financed for LoJack and that there are subscription-based services associated with it. We purchased a five year subscription for the LoJack, and that's why it was above the $499 amount. However we were never told about the 5 year service or the additional charge. When I asked the dealership directly about the extra expensive or why it was a subscription, after I had been told it wasn't, she stated that it wasn't a subscription because it wasn't billed monthly. ‍ I would say that a subscription is something that has to be renewed, and that's exactly what LoJack is. Now if we want to continue to use this product we will have to pay every five years for it. & quite frankly it's not a product we wanted. But we paid $500 for it ( the installation) so now we will have to continue to pay for the service to use the product. After discovering these issues, we contacted both the warranty company and the dealership in hopes of finding a resolution. While the warranty was canceled and mpp was very friendly, we received a full refund, and they did not try to sell us anything else on the phone. They agreed that we were mislead and apologized!! the dealership was unwilling to help resolve our concerns regarding LoJack or address the discrepancies we experienced during the sales process. When I spoke to the sales director about the issue, continued to try to sell the products, and said that we even got a deal on the club plus ($895).... (We were given that "discount" for the club plus during the sale, because we asked why LoJack had to be purchased when it was a listed as an optional expense online. We were told we had to purchase the LoJack but if we did we would get a discounted rate for the club plus) however mpp had already told me that was the right price earlier on the phone. At that point, I knew she was also misguiding us too & I just told her I appreciate her time and hung up. Bottom line, we love our Expedition, but we encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle here to take their time in the finance office. In our experience, the numbers discussed verbally were not the same as the amounts that ultimately appeared in our signed paperwork. Out of an abundance of caution, review each document carefully and make sure every figure and every product matches exactly what you believe you're agreeing to before you sign. & ofc we signed so it is partially our fault. This was our first time buying a car and we should have done better. NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THEY SAY AS THE TRUTH ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY EVEN IF THAT SCREWS THEIR CUSTOMERS OVER! I took my 2014 Ford Focus to Prosper Ford as my check engine light came on as well as it was intermittently not wanting to start or shift into a gear. The code came back with P0805 clutch position circuit. They took a few days to look at it and came back saying I needed a new clutch & forks and that it would be $4500. I was shocked as I just purchased this car and didn't want to put that kind of money into this car. I asked them how they concluded that I need a new clutch & forks. They said they did multiple tests and that they took off the actuators and swapped the top one with the bottom one. And blah blah blah. I declined the repairs. I took it home and started doing research. From the research I found out that it might just be the clutch actuators. I also found a video on how to check the forks to see if they are moving freely. I got under the hood and started working. I took off the top and bottom actuators and I could tell these parts have never been taking off. I then check the forks to make sure they are moving freely and no problems. They move freely and perfectly. I then put the new actuators on top and bottom and hook everything back up. Turn the car on it starts right up no problems and then I put in drive no problem, reverse no problem and then I continue to drive around the block, seconds into my drive the check engine light turns off and all codes go away. I continue to drive get on the tollway get to higher speeds and go plenty of miles. Still nothing it is driving perfect if not better than before the check engine light came on. I was so happy! So long story short is you can't trust anything anyone says even the Ford Dealership. They said they ran multiple tests and swapped actuators and checked the forks and blah blah blah. LIES! LIES! LIES! All they did was check the code look in their book and say this is what needed done they did no test to see what the actual cause of the problem was. By the way they were trying to charge me $200 plus saying this was their diagnostic fee. I got them to waive this fee. So, they charge $200 plus to just check the code and read a book and put some generic mumbo jumbo crap down. They almost got me on the hook for $4500 to fix something that wasn't even wrong with the car. Good thing I did some research. To wrap this up, I leave you with this. BEWARE! Trust nothing anyone tells you even the head service guy at a Ford Dealership and do your own research. I will never go back to Prosper Ford or yet alone any dealership (unless I have a car that is under warranty). I recommend if you do make sure you do some research and maybe get a second opinion or investigate it yourself. If I had to give one word of my experience I would use deceptive. I changed my plans to drive from Bentonville, AR to Prosper Ford, instead of driving to Tulsa, Ok. I did this to save 2k and get a one year newer vehicle but I regret it. Deception 1. I was told I could write a personal check. I asked to fill out a credit application without a pull of credit, to verify my identity. That was a lie. I was then told hard credit would be pulled and I would need to do a loan to leave with car but if I was to pay the car off before the first billing I wouldn't be charged any interest. Another lie. The bank won't process the loan for 7 business day, therefore I will be charged at least 7 days of interest. Hopefully a small amount but I was told multiple times that I wasn't going to have to pay anything in interest. Deception 2. I received a list of things the service department supposedly did, including checking the coolant levels. I questioned this because the coolant level was very low. I thought either they were lying to me about the coolant check and/or they are incompetent as a service department, or there is a problem with the coolant system. I had an agreement they would fix or buy the car if there was a coolant issue discovered within a week of purchase. There doesn't seem to be an issue but I had to take time out of my schedule to take it to my local Toyota dealership to verify. It seems to me they lied to me and/or have a incompetent service department. Deception 3. It was a very short test drive. I should of pushed back when they told me the drive was going to be short. Felt like 5 mins. I wasn't allowed to take it onto an interstate, and I was only able to accelerate to 60mph for a few seconds on a service road before having to apply the breaks. After the purchase, I discovered a very loud wind noise from the passenger side when driven on interstate over 65 mph. I didn't and wouldn't have discovered that very noticeable issue during the test drive. This makes me wonder if the minor door damage in the car fax report was a bigger issue then reported. Deception 4. The listing on facebook and on website had pictures of aftermarket bumper guards front and back. Sales manager told me they threw them away because they were falling off. They still took professional pictures of the vehicle with them. I was never told before driving 5 hours that they were not on the car nor was offered anything to compensate. They were at least a $1000 of accessories. Photos are below. Deception 5. After writing this review, I just found out that the driver power seat stopped working within 2 days of buying the car. My wife is unable to drive the car, because we can not move the seat for her. Supposedly it will cost 2k for Toyota to fix. There goes my savings for driving from Arkansas. They must have know about the seat starting to fail after 30 days of test drives. It was obvious to me when I adjusted it for the first time after the purchase. The motor sounded like a machine gone trying to move. I am starting to feel like I bought a lemon. I have lowered my rating from 2 to 1 star. More things to note: The listing on facebook was 1k more then the website. After adding in all the dealer fees and taxes we were 4k from listing price. After a little negotiation and considering taxes/registration, we were a bit closer to the facebook listed price but not website price. My batteries failed (they were low before purchase) in both of my key fabs on our 5 hr drive home. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to start the car. I blame the sales manager for most of this and the dealership. Our salesman was young and not very experienced. I don't believe he was intending to mislead us. The pictures of the accessories was an intentional misleading by either the sales manager and/or the dealership. So was the test drive and probably the seat. The payment situation was bad communication from the manager to the finance department. I would not recommend and will not return. This is unfortunate for them, because I need a 2nd vehicle. read more

We knew our Kelly Blue Book values, and we were ready to make a deal that day, but after a few minutes of trying to negotiate in good faith with Ali, our trust in Prosper Ford was quickly eroded. He would only offer us significantly below KBB for our trade and the purchase was mid to high KBB. When we raised questions, we were met with accusations, high pressure, and deceit. READ BEFORE YOU GO!: I called ahead of time because I had a solid number from another dealership but they were in Fort Worth. Prosper is a lot closer to me but I was coming from denton and as you know going from denton to Prosper especially on 380 is no fun at all, so I called twice to verify that they would be able to work around the price range that I was offered by another dealership ($17,625 for a red 2022 premium mach e) On their mustang Mach e (prospers silver California 1 edition). I drove all the way from denton to Prosper after being told by two salesmen that they can definitely get close to that number and make a deal with me and to just come on in. I told them explicitly and respectfully that THIS IS THE NUMBER I NEED OR I'LL GO TO Fort W. And they said no problem we can take care of you. After driving for about 40 minutes Dealing with traffic, they looked at my trade-in While I looked at their car and noticed that it needed brake pads & rotors really badly. The rotors were engraved horribly by the metal to metal contact from the worn out brake pads with a bunch of scratches down to the primer That weren't even addressed. Their vehicle reconditioning was horrible. I brought this up to the salesman (Santiago) And he tried to brush it off by saying the car went through a multi point inspection. I've worked on cars for YEARS and told him how the brakes need immediate attention. He said he'll see what he can do After I made him look at it closely. We went inside and after waiting, he brought the paperwork for me to sign. It was FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER where i told them i needed to be at! 2k+ in bs dealer add-ons. And they only offer 4k for my trade in where ford dallas offered 5.5k and fort w offered 5k. I took one look at the paperwork and told him to "give me my keys, this is why I asked you if you can get close to what I needed before driving all the way over here with my wife and kid. I'm going to To Fort Worth." he then tried to pull the "let me talk to my manager and see if we can come down on the price" bull and i said "No, we're leaving, give me my keys." They will undervalue your trade-in and overpriced their cars. They'll sell you cars that are a danger to you because they only care about your money. We ended up going to Fort worth And getting a newer car For a better price. (the red one is mine, the silver is the p of s they tried to scam me into). Very disappointed with this place. I never felt heard during the sales process--they only wanted to make a deal if I financed through them at a higher rate (1.5% more). When I raised concerns, they just said I could refinance later--terrible advice. Then I came in on a holiday with a stuck window and rain in the forecast. Service was closed, which I understood, but I asked if they could at least cover the window overnight. Instead, I was met with, "What do you want us to do?" No solutions offered--no cover, no call to another dealership, nothing. I ended up calling another Ford dealer, who got my truck in the same day and gave me a free loaner while they handled the warranty work. Prosper Ford doesn't care about you or the vehicles they sell. My expectations around timing were set a bit high when first scheduling my F-150 for a pinion seal leak appointment. However, my service advisor Tom got me through a bit of a stressful experience as a 1-2 day estimate grew to an extended period(+6 days) while parts had to be ordered and additional diagnostics were required. Tom remained focused on getting the right parts and repairs done right. While it took much longer than originally quoted I am really impressed with the results. It has been about 3 weeks and 750 miles since. No more rear pinion seal leaks, front seals were also replaced and my F-150 is running smooth. Prosper Ford fixed a bad knock sensor for me about a year ago as well(a rodent chewed on one of them). Bought a used Ford Certified Pre Owned vehicle- a Buick, from another ford dealership- Initially back in June i took here for service and they were very helpful in getting the repair facilitated from a sister Buick store. Beginning of September had issues with car again, tried to get service through here again- service advisor said the dealership would refuse service and I would have to take a Buick dealer myself, reminded him this was a Ford CPO warranty, said it didn't matter and Buick dealer would have to work to get reimbursed by ford. He then gleefully told me I was out of warranty by 2 days anyway-- I think prosper ford is a poor representative for the ford brand, be aware they will push back on Certified Pre Owned Ford warranties and not honor service here, something to be aware of if you buy a used non ford vehicle from this dealer. read more

We had a Ford Escape, and last year we bought a Bronco Sport. We were happy with the purchase and planned to get a Bronco for our next car. However, we've had the Bronco Sport for just one year, and it's already had problems three times. One time, it suddenly broke down, which was very frustrating. This time, it's a brake issue. They won't provide a loaner car, and they don't service vehicles on weekends, so when we drop off the car for repairs, we have to pay for commuting to work which will cost over $100 a day. Service dept the worst. Bought 2 Explorers one in Aug 2025 and one 3 weeks ago A few months ago I take my 2018 Expedition for some work. Had a major problem with getting picked up. I was done at 3p and the Uber driver never picked me up until 4 Lost. The truck was not as they had it all day. I work 5 mins form there I had a very important meeting in Dallas at 6. Had work that was to be done and was told it would be done before 3 well that did not happen. I missed my very important meeting. They took $100. off the bill. So today I have the Explorer in for its first oil change and service. Same deal was done at 3. First Uber 3:35 and lost drove by the office. Had to call for a second picked up at 4. get to dealership.Get my paper work and I notice no oil change or tire rotation info on the paper work. I ask was it done and was told no was in for a recall. No the recall was not what the appointment was for. They wanted to set it up for Mon. I said no. The service manger said they would to the oil now. Now 35-40 mins later car done get keys and no explanation , we are really sorry what can we do for you...nothing while I was waiting had some one ask me what happened and I explained let me get with a GM to make it better. well nothing there. I got home at 6:10 The time I wasted was almost 3hrs that I will not get back. So I would not recommend this service dept period. Spending almost $95,000.00 in 6 months and this happens. Last year they had my truck for a whole month and the employee I was working with never communicated with me. 30 days on the dot I received my truck back. They never sent an invoice or anything to say what they did. I went back a few months ago for an alignment and rotate my tires- it took forever. A couple days later I noticed one of my tires was at 2mm of tread. The service shop literally took my tire off and put it back and 100% knew that tire was shot. They didn't say a word to me about it. Communication was subpar at best, the only exception was when I got in touch with Zach. The sales manager (Joel) got an attitude with me one day because I let him know I was at work and would need to return his call. When I did make it in the appraiser either had no clue what he is doing, or is just lying in order to lowball trade offers. I was informed that my trade vehicle had a misfire (as a former Technician for Honda and Audi and someone with a degree in automotive and diesel technology I know this to be untrue). The only evidence of this claim was that he could "feel it in his foot"; if the engine had a misfire the check engine light would be on and it would be throwing a diagnostic code (it is not). Further, if the vehicle had a misfire it would make the whole vehicle shudder. I will from here on out steer people clear of Prosper Ford, and since they have a sister dealership, Grapevine Ford as well. read more

To sum up their approach I would call it "Customer 2nd". I purchased a used vehicle here and didn't do much negotiating. I asked for floormats as the ones in the vehicle I was purchasing were a bit worn. According to them there was just no way they could do that. "They pay more than I would for mats". After confirming with the salesperson that the car did have owners manuals we agreed on a price. Next on to finance. Of course in finance you have a smorgasbord of options to which I said I have a check for this amount. The finance guy excuses himself comes back 5 minutes later pleased as punch. The sales manager decided they had room in the deal for an MPP (mechanical protection plan). I should have raised a stink here but just wanted out of there. They had room in the deal for an MPP which the dealer makes money on but not for floormats (Problem 1). Problem 2 once we got home there were no owners manuals in the vehicle. I called the dealership and they tried to give me a PDF which, of course, is not the same. There is resale value in having the owners manuals. After responding to their numerous automated emails the Sales Manager called me and said he was going to send me manuals and mats but I never received either. No follow through. No follow-up. In summary and ironically the owner's $2 million dollar Ford GT sits in the showroom at the dealership I guess as a reminder of what greed gets you. A company that was built with a customer first mindset and created one of the wealthiest families in the US is Wal-mart and you know what the owner of Wal-mart drove....an F-150. read more

While dealing with Kevin in finance he was rude, pushy and definitely not honest. After being approved and getting to the finance department, it was because of his, "my way or no way" attitude, I decided to not purchase a vehicle from your dealership. When questioned regarding the extended warranty, Kevin stated that he could remove it, but then the sales price would increase. How does it make any sense to increase a sales price for not purchasing something that is going to give him a kick back or commission. It's a disservice to your salespeople to have someone in finance treat potential customers the way he did, and they are the ones who lose out on sales. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day, however his attitude and lack of customer service were definitely not warranted. read more

Took my vehicle for a recall repair. My car had absolutely no issues other than we were told there was a recall that needed to be taken care of. After getting my car back I noticed the next morning there was an oil leak in my driveway. We contacted the service department that asked us to bring the car back. After having my car for a week the second time I was told through text message that there is an oil leak that in an area that they did not touch however it's likely leaking because of the "added pressure from new components on old components" and that I would need to pay $3500 for this repair. After going back and forth they decided to check with ford to see if they would cover any of the cost and we were told they would not. After speaking with the service manager who acknowledged this damage he said he would knock it down to $2400 since he can not ensure this leak was not present prior to us bringing it in. However, I explained and offered video footage of my driveway which shows my car being parked and driven daily with no leaks in my driveway until the day I brought it back from the first service. I am now forced to provide all footage, documentation, proof of conversations, and more to my insurance company so that I can have my car properly repaired from this establishments damage to my vehicle even though this falls under garage keepers liability. It is unfortunate to experience such poor business practices and lack of ownership in their work. When damage is done under your care, do what's right and fix it. read more

Repairs weren't being done right the first time or they couldn't duplicate my mechanical issues when other Ford dealers did. Got online, made an appointment for 10AM for an oil change. It was a selectable time slot, so one would think that i would have an appointment for 10AM. I arrive at 9:50, and am told that there is an hour and a half wait to get to my oil changed. If you're not going to honor your reservation time slots, then why make the customer choose one? I bought my vehicle from Prosper Ford. They made that deal a lot harder than it needed to be. Especially when I was paying for the vehicle in full, no finance or anything else. Last two oil changes have been misunderstandings or trying to up sale me. This was the last chance. I'll go elsewhere for my maintenance. read more
