My parents on the otherhand thought it was a cool spectacle in terms of the stage - Wynn definitely spent a lot on the stage/set and production, but they weren't too impressed by the performers themselves, and thought other Cirque du Soleil shows were a lot more impressive. I thought everything was cool - the directing/production, stage/set, costumes, storyline, and performers were pretty talented and good. My friend and I had fun though, and we thought this showing and briefly hanging out at the Wynn was a pretty fun experience. I also really liked that Wynn gives 3 hours complimentary parking, that was really generous of them not trying to rip us off in every way that they can. Tickets weren't too crazy expensive either, and we got pretty good seats too. I wish I had the chance to check out La Reve when it was still going before this. I overall had a great experience here and would highly recommend checking out Awakening next time you're in Vegas!

I suppose I expected something more awesome like Matsuri, but this was more martial arts with just a sprinkle of dancing and acrobatics. There was so much repetitive kicking and karate chopping nothing in particular that it was just so repetitive. It's not to say that these people aren't talented, they just need to learn how to put on a nice, better paced show that leaves us going "wow, that was awesome." I kind of felt similar to how I felt about Frank Caliendro, another talented person whose show is kind of crappy. If this show sticks around for another year I'll go see it again to see if there is some improvement.

Being so close to the stage and with such a small audience size, you just feel more connected to the performers. Make no mistake. There is nothing new here. You've seen all of these types of acts somewhere before. But that doesn't take away from their entertainment value. It's only a small on-stage cast of about nine people. By the end of the show, I really felt an appreciation for what they just put on display. At barely over one hour, I think it's just the right length too. Oh I have to mention this. I swear that one of the male performers reminds me of like an Asian David Bowie. I'm thinking it's the makeup.

I wanted to visit the Princess Diana Exhibit for several years and got a chance to make my princess dreams come true during our 30th anniversary trip to Las Vegas. I didn't know what to expect. But what I didn't expect were the number of historically significant items and deeply personal belongings that were displayed throughout the exhibit. From the moment you step into the exhibit, you are transported into 'her world.' The books she read as a child, the letters she wrote as royal, the cards she sent as a friend, the clothing she wore as one of the most beautiful women in the world were woven together to tell her story in a poignant yet powerful way. The exhibit also included historical highlights of the royal family. It was truly an exceptional and educational experience, one you would expect from a museum. We spent three hours in the comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned space and could honestly have stayed longer. Even my husband, who only really went to make me happy, commented that the exhibit was incredibly well executed and curated. He said he was so glad I suggested it because he enjoyed it so thoroughly. We chose to not do the audio tour. Yet, there were times that I actually felt tears well in my eyes as I read her hand-written notes or accounts from her close friends. My history-buff hubby felt the factual historical information was enlightening as well. The space is designed so it never felt crowded and we could really take our time in the immersive atmosphere. We walked through the separate rooms and often found ourselves enjoying a space by ourselves. It was a wonderful retreat from the noise and busyness of the casinos. Other visitors seemed to feel the same and everyone kept their voices low and reverence high. We are so pleased we made the time to experience the Princess Diana Exhibit. But I would consider it more a mini museum than an exhibition. Whatever you call it, it's a must-see. Carve out some time though. You don't want to rush it. And be sure to stop by the small gift shop. They had great items to take home. I refrained from purchasing the tiara and chose a Diana scarf instead. Now every time I wear it, I recall a day fit for a Princess enjoyed with my Prince Charming.

It's not reading the words on the wall, so it's a great additional companion to everything within the exhibit. I will say, some of the color of font against the color of the wall can be a little hard to read in certain light (gold on pink wall for example). It did get a bit busy, I think we were there sometime between 11am and 1pm. I love to take my time and read a lot of the stuff, you can easily spend a few hours in here if doing so. The audio tour was something like 90 minutes, but if you are going a little slower through the exhibits, it will be longer (you can start each section when you want). There was so much to see and read here! I loved the room of dresses, I think that was my favorite part. I also liked how much it dived both forward and back in the lineage. I thought this was cool and definitely worth checking out if you love history.

We bought our tickets online fairly in advance because we wanted to make sure we got a time that worked for everyone before it sold out. It took a couple days as their web page was a little glitchy, but finally succeeded. When you enter they have a handicapped entrance that bypasses the main line, and then a stroller line, and general lines for everyone else. Throughout the park they have drink stands, some have hot coco, some are more alcoholic drinks. The main area you will find food (which I totally missed the first time I went) is located up the ramp near the entrance where they had a play space for kids and story time. It is filled with food options, toys, and other cool things to buy. I recommend the bubble toys they sell close to the entrance, my son lost his mind with joy over it, as did every kid I saw with one. Upstairs they also had Santa's house. I will say its a bit of a bait and switch. There was a dude saying oh there's no like for Santa, and pictures with him come with your tickets. I was like wow that's a great deal if that's true. However had sneaking suspicion to get the pictures digital or otherwise would be an extra cost...and it was lol it was like 50 I think for 2 and 70 for 4. If you try to share the pics through the link they give they will charge you even more. I wouldn't have gotten them personally since I didn't really prepare the way I looked to invest in pictures that night, but my fiancé really wanted them. I will say the Santa was excellent. My son was not scared of him at all, and he looked like a very European Santa which I thought was cool. The lower area is a giant maze and they give you a scratch game for when you find the scavenger hunt items. This year it was different nut crackers. Within the maze are also spots for cute photo opportunities like sculptures you can sit in, pianos kids can run on, a giant light up floor for kids to dance on etc. Outside of the maze on the main floor they also have a giant slide, but its only for single riders, and they have to be three years old or older. The ice rink also looks tempting, but with that much volume on the ice its pretty scratched up. I feel more coordinated on smoother ice. I think the experience overall is really lovely and reasonable for 35 dollars with all the work they put into it. I am not sure of the cost for the extra activities though. I am sure it could add up if you have a lot of kids, so many like a discount for buying over 4 tickets would not hurt. I think its worth it to check out at least once to get into the festive spirit.

Along the way you can stay warm with hot cocoa, and hot apple cider. They can spike the drinks for the adults to stay extra warm. On top when you exit they have a bunch of cute shops. No fog machines this show though. Newsboys, as usual, were the closers. In addition, the lead was forklifted over the crowd, which is always cool. Concession stands are open and you can get popcorn, hot dogs, water, soda. The Basics. Vendors and Mission Groups line the lobby where you can buy CDs, t shirts, get autographs, or sponsor a child. The doors open to the public at 5p and the concert starts at 6p til 1030p. Most Christian concerts run that long-at least the ones I have been on. There's not many things to do in Vegas that are free anymore. It was a very nice thing for No Doubt to do for their fans. I know for a marketing standpoint it creates a buzz, sells a whole lot of merchandise and promotes their shows but it also lets the fans who couldn't go to the shows because of work schedule or finances still join in the festivities. Every single employee that I encountered was super accommodating and welcoming. With it being as busy as it was it is easy to feel overwhelmed when you are in a wheelchair. I didn't because of the employees. The only time that I felt lost was at the photo op with the No Doubt drum set. It was the biggest draw and I really wanted to do it because I am a drummer myself. The young lady at that area was the only one that gave me the keep moving and go to the end of the line spiel when I wanted to ask a question. The queue was awkward to get into and felt claustrophobic for me. I also didn't want to feel like I was going to run over people's toes. I don't know if it was made too narrow or if was moved because of the logistics of the hallway and flow of traffic. I ended up not getting that photo. Other than ending in a disappointing note, the rest of my visit was great. Thanks No Doubt and Venetian for a fun and one of a kind experience!

There are huge murals that everyone could take a photo of or photo with. You could take photos with different props at different locations. A room full of stuff from their shows and memories.
