Shrimp Plate Fries & Baked Potato

My family and I love this Showmars!!! They are always good. I have never had a bad meal from here. The staff are helpful and work fast. Here you can find the best fish sandwich I have ever had. I also think they have the best sweet tea. They also have a popcorn shrimp mini meal that is really filling. I use the app to order and it is usually ready by the time I arrive. Showmars is a great option for a good meal!

Grilled chicken pita.

This was the first time I've been to Shomars. I didn't go into the restaurant, so this review is based on my food alone. I had the grilled chicken pita, which included a grilled chicken breast with lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. I also had a side of hummus with pita. It was all average. Not great but not bad. My grilled chicken was a little dry with not much flavor, and I wasn't in love with the taste of their hummus. I don't recall any tomatoes on my pita, but hubby might have asked them to hold the tomatoes when he ordered it for me. And I didn't get pita triangle pieces with my hummus, just another piece of pita bread, but it was okay. Overall, it was average. I might return again and try something different that may be a little more flavorful.

First time going here and not gonna lie I was a little disappointed. First and foremost the service here is awesome! Everyone is so nice and eager to help, from the guy behind the counter to the woman bussing tables. I asked for recommendations for what to order and was told the fish sandwich is the best item with Cole slaw and tartar sauce, so that's what I got. The sandwich had lots of fish on it, but there was absolutely no flavor to it at all (even with the tartar sauce, slaw, and hotsauce.) The fries were fine, just needed salt and Ketchup. My friend got the chicken pita and hers looked amazing so if I go back I will try that. We also had the fried okra...not a huge fan, mostly because of the texture. The place has ample parking and service is pretty quick if you are looking for a quick bite.

Double cheese burger with a side of fried okra- very good

The menu made me chuckle- fried fish and gyros. It was one of those things I had to see. My coworker and I were looking for a lunch spot and the variety of the menu looked like it was going to be a hit. It a spot where you order at the counter and there is a large men on the side wall as you wait in line. We moved out of the way looking at the specific menu items before walking up to the cashier. We're given our drinks and a number to place on the table. The cashier was lovely and when I asked if the place was a chain, she proudly shared "we have 33 locations!" The food was deliver to the table by a very cheerful employee and she came by the table a couple times offering refills and to clear the table. Heads up- it is a P-e-p-s-i restaurant. Much more popular in the Charlotte area than I remembered. It wasn't the best food I had ever had- no one needs that rice to veggie and grilled chicken ratio. I may try something else when I return.

I don't tent to eat at showmars often, but that needs to change, it's always so good! I normally get one of their pita burgers, but I've never had anything from here that wasn't really good. The menu selection is good, the service is always fast and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained.

The Gyro was surprisingly good. I have been to 3 different locations. The food is pretty consistent and pretty good.

This place is a legacy. Everything is good. I love the Somora, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

I finally stopped in to Hellenic and I'm so glad I did! It is located along South Blvd and when you…read morewalk in you immediately feel welcomed with nice service and beautiful warm decor. We started with their Calamari and Greek Bruschetta and they were a great start to our meals. Both were so tasty and fresh and I liked how the calamari wasn't too chewy. For our entrees we went with their Lamb Chops, Kebab Platter and Salmon Plate with a side Greek Salad. Everything was just amazing like this was a great re- introduction to the greek cuisine! Also our server Bess was really great! I will definitely be back!

The interior is beautiful, but the real star is the food (and our waitress, who we were fortunate enough to get both times--she's fantastic!). Plumb forgot her name twice now The portions are so generous that the hubby and I have started a "share everything" policy just so we can sample more of the menu. The Lamb Chops are sizeable, perfectly seasoned, and actually taste like they would in Greece. The Hummus. It's rustic, flavorful, and took me straight back to the streets of Greece. Pair that with their juicy Greek Meatballs, and you're in possible food coma! They also boast an all-Greek wine list, which is a nice authentic touch. While they have a great patio, it's been a bit too chilly for us lately, but the indoor vibe is just as lovely. Authentic flavor, great service, and a wine list that actually knows its grapes--definitely a 5-star gem in the Queen City!

One thing I've found over the years is that great food can be found anywhere. So if you see a small…read moretake away spot in a strip mall that looks a bit dilapidated do not judge a book by its cover. Graham Street Grill is a perfect example. Located along N Tryon St a little bit past the popular Camp Northend development you'll find this gem. When I moved to the NoDa neighborhood from Southend, I found myself missing the fried chicken you could get at the Shell gas station. Luckily I did some online research and came across some great reviews for this spot! It's take out only with just a small waiting room and an order counter but it's well worth any wait, the fried chicken comes out so fresh! They are inexpensive with great food which is something that is becoming increasingly hard to find. My last order I was able to get two jumbo wings along with a roll and French fries for under $10.00. They have a lot more than just fried chicken though. Burgers, hotdogs, fish sandwiches, and even subs and gyros. Not to mention they offer some home style breakfast that is hard to beat. Don't be out off by the location or the outside appearance, this place is fantastic.

I've been ordering from Graham Street Grill for months now, and normally the food is really good,…read morewhich is exactly why I felt the need to say something about today's order. I'm not someone who complains just to complain because I know every restaurant can have an off day, but this breakfast honestly missed the mark. The home fries are usually my favorite part of the meal, but today they were burnt, overly hard, and tasted old like they had been sitting for a while before being served. The eggs were extremely dry and overcooked to the point where they were hard to enjoy. The sausage was the biggest disappointment though. It was so hard and tough that it honestly felt like biting into a hockey puck or a hard disc instead of breakfast sausage. What makes this frustrating is that I keep coming back because the food is usually fresh, flavorful, and worth spending money on. Consistency matters, especially for loyal customers who order regularly. I'm leaving this review because I'd rather see the quality get back to where it normally is instead of just staying quiet and going somewhere else. I know the kitchen can do better because I've had plenty of great meals from here before. Hopefully this was just a bad day and not the start of the food quality going downhill. I'll still give it another chance because I've had good experiences overall, but today's breakfast definitely was not up to the standard I'm used to from Graham Street Grill.
