    My $11.00 club sandwich today.

This was my club today. The manager thought it was totally ok to serve this to me for $11.00 with zero bacon. They were out of it. I think they were out of other meat as well. He left my table & didn't have anything to say. Rip off, deplorable and rude!!!!!!

I really and truly wanted to like this place. Especially since I love mom and pop shops because chain restaurants get so boring. But this place was just so underwhelming. I ordered bacon cheeseburger. Burger patty was so thin and didn't even fill up the big bun. Burger to bun ratio was way off. And then it wasn't even piping hot. Neither were my fries. Even though things are supposedly cooked to order, it was lukewarm. No flavor on the fries, not one piece of salt. And burger was tasteless too. The fries did come with a nice dipping sauce, but when fries are not hot, the sauce wasn't a saving grace. Even though food was very subpar, at least the staff was extremely friendly. But honestly, I don't see myself going back to pay for more lackluster food.

Double cheese burger w/ onion rings

I'd like to give 2.5 stars but can't so being generous with 3. Quite over priced for quality of food we were given. Fries and onion rings had no seasoning whatsoever, just bland. Asked for L/T/O on the burger and tomato was left off. Club itself was pretty good despite being a bit soggy but that happens with togo. Wasn't told about the 1.75 upcharge for onion rings which again for flavorless rings seems excessive. Was also charged for 2 drinks when the burger is clearly listed as a "combo", does combo not mean a side and drink come with anymore? They also added a 4% service charge which I assume is because we paid with card but again would be nice if these things were communicated to the customer. Was looking for a decent burger spot at a fair price, we will keep looking.

Greek chicken pita with diced tomatoes, lettuce, feta and tziziki.

How many times have I passed by AJs. Let's just say too may times. I stopped for lunch with my granddaughter who was insistant that she have a hot dog. I looked up hot dogs in H'burg and AJs came up. As ypur walk in, you order at the counter and they bring your meal to the table-fast! I ordered a Greek Chicken pita and a hot dog with fries. The hot dog was grilled not boiled and the bun was steamed. The grandgirl loved it. As I said, I ordered the Greek chicken pita. It had chicken, diced lettuce diced, tomatoes, feta and tzaziki sauce. The chicken was tender with a hint of lemon and oregano...excellent! The pita was soft and steamed. Lot's of feta and sauce. So good that it rivals my college staple at Sluvlaki on Blacksburg VA. I've never said that before. Also, the prices are reasonable. One thing ...it was lunch and about 20 people and they were all men beside me and another lady. Who knows?

AJs is one of those places that is a local eat. You've probably driven by it many times while In Harrisburg and just not noticed it. AJ's is a family owned restaurant with very friendly wait staff and speedy service. They aren't open on the weekend. The restaurant is very clean but not fancy. Theres enough parking all the way around the building, which can accommodate large work trucks too. For lunch you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Food is served in food baskets with a liner or on disposable plates (depending on what you order.) Even if they are busy, food typically comes out within a couple of minutes. They serve sandwiches, seafood, BBQ ( a little of something for everyone!) Every food plate that comes out looks more appetizing than the next. My hands down favorite meal here is the spaghetti, served with a side salad - choice of dressing, slice of toast and a container of parmesan cheese for your spaghetti on the side. One of the things that I like about their spaghetti is that it tastes home made. Very filling and large portions that you probably wont be able to finish! If I'm in Harrisburg around lunchtime, you can bet that I'm definitely eating here!

Food is good, but if you get a to go order, check your order before you leave. Paid extra for an item but didn't receive it.

Old school good food. Double cheeseburger. With a side of fried okra is the best! I always try to go when I am back in Charlotte.

The restaurant was very clean and the noise volume low enough to where we could visit and comfortably carry on conversations. Our waiter was gracious and helped us to catch up with the rest of our party. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Nior and Dinner while the rest of our party finished their appetizers and salads. I ordered the steak frites and it was just wonderful! My boyfriend ordered the special which was halibut, asparagus, and mushroom risotto. Everything was perfect! The couple that was seated across from us split the special. The kitchen didn't hesitate to split this dish for them in the kitchen before bringing it out to our table. This is just excellent customer service! They are an elderly couple and could not possibly have eaten the entire meal by themselves. Our waiter was very attentive and nobody at the table ever had an empty glass. Also, your plate was cleared the moment that you finished with your meal. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last. Thank you for making our evening out with family and friends so very special. We will definitely be back in the near future.

The other, lettuce (never have seen that in a Maine lobster roll) and aioli). The one with butter had a nice brioche roll but most of the lobster was small claw ends vs nice chunks. The one on lettuce was better, more larger pieces of lobster, but meat was put onto a lot of lettuce to prop it up. It takes some effort, but buying a live lobster and cooking oneself is really the best way. I was hopeful- but ultimately disappointed.

All of our dishes were Fresh and Hot. The ambience was really nice for a hotel spot. It gave me feels of Dogwood in Uptown. Nice heavy furniture and a really big bar. My husband said, could have been the best Ruben ever. And he has had a lot of them. The onion rings were fire. Both in taste and heat. I had the fish and chips and it was every bit as good as the best I had in London. Make sure to order a side of mayo for the fries. So Good! Finished it with the cheesecake bites and dang if it wasn't incredible. You can tell it was freshly made. The zest of lemon even came through with it being fried. Our server was very kind and everything was perfect. It was a little slow for it and the food. But that seems to be a staffing shortage not the problem of the server. Inside the building you order at the counter for any of the restaurants advertised on the exterior of the building which includes this one. In contrast to other reviews, yes, there are drinks on site available. It's just a separate order. Beers, sodas, water, etc., all available. The burger? We both got the Slowpoke smashee. Double burger with cheese and the slightly perfectly crunchy edges of beef, pickles that zing, a sauce that just makes it all MELT in your mouth, and the fries which are literally the PERFECT crisp! On man! They are seasoned well, and fried perfectly. The burger was a bit greasy as expected and the perfect blend of seasoned beef, toasted brioche bun, sautéed onions that are delicious and perfectly sautéed, and that melted real cheese and sauce. It was so good my boyfriend ate his and ordered another one of course he had a stomach ache after, but yes, he devoured two doubles. It was that tasty. My pictures do it absolutely no justice because we dove in before I took them so they look a mess.
