I've dined in Cullman several times. Every employee exhibited exceptional friendliness and professionalism. In their opening week it was hectic for everyone, but seeing the volume of customers it is no wonder. The food has always been excellent. Just wish they had chilled boiled shrimp! lol Many times I just sit at the bar due to no waiting. The girls working the bar are truly awesome. They seem to care deeply about providing excellent service, and they are so friendly. Any endeavor can always be better, but Shrimp Basket seems to try hard to get it right. read more

We had dinner tonight at the Cullman Shrimp Basket. The staff to include the manager is so nice and welcoming to us. A couple of the young ladies come and greet us and give us hugs and welcome us. We could not ask for better service. It seems like they wait for us each Sunday night as we go there on a regular basis. Some folks might say it is to expensive. You get what you pay for. This location (Cullman, AL) is under new management. The service was fantastic!!! Our waitress Brittney and the General Manager Tammy, welcomed us upon arrival and were very friendly. The food was really good. I had the Combo Basket with shrimp and white fish. Both were very tasty. I'm not a fan of their shrimp slaw, but everything else makes up for that. Let me mention the Seafood Queso Dip - 0-my - As Guy Fieri would say, I would eat that off a flip flop. Soooooo good. Would have given 5 starts for it alone. read more

A group (8 of us including 2 kids) of us walked in (no reservation) and waited 30 minutes (quoted 45 min wait) on FATHER's DAY! Within 30 minutes we were eating. Service was perfect. Not overbearing. Not rushed. Just cool, friendly and welcoming. This place clearly has smart management. The whole experience was cool and perfectly timed. And the food was excellent. We had dinner there Friday night and everything was amazing! The staff was so friendly and very attentive to everyone. This place has gotten so much better since we ate there in September of last year. It was busy but everyone was happy. I had the Blackened Redfish and was by far my favorite dishes there. I came down from Tennessee with my family to eat here and I must say it was well worth the trip. Amber was probably the best server I have had in a long time. She was so friendly and the manager was amazing. She came to our table and talked to us for a minute and was very excited to hear we made the trip just to come here. The food was absolutely amazing. Came in Sunday for lunch and sat outside and the atmosphere was just so warming! I have to say it was amazing!! They have new management and new staff and you can tell they care about their guests!
