My son was comfortable from the start, they talked him through what they were doing at all times and then we looked at the x-rays together to discuss treatment going forward. My son is going back for his treatment today (didn't have to wait long at all!) and I have every confidence that all will work out well. On a personal level I totally appreciated being able and encouraged to ask all questions to put my mind at ease. I'm incredibly nervous of going to the dentist myself and did not want my son to feel the same way. They made sure to include him in the conversations and he was comfortable at all times. I was terrified going in there each time I went. My dad wasn't even allowed in the stations with me. When I first went in I noticed a bunch of kids were scared and I had no idea why because I was 6 years old. He gave me 3 silver teeth all in the same day that were not needed. He stated, "if you keep screaming and crying I will give you more." Because of this, to this day I am still terrified of dentists. He also used equipment that was dirty. How I know this? I have been dealing with cold sores randomly since this incident has happened. This also happened to my brother too but he has never gotten silver teeth. Maybe a cavity? They have been present and involved in all our pediatric needs. We have seen both Dr. Carola Fleener and Dr. Barbara Fleener as well as the DPN, Lisa. The staff during our visits has been professional, helpful, and courteous. During COVID pandemic times masks are required for entry into the practice. Upon entering, be sure to sign it at the reception desk so they know you are present. I have never encountered a long wait here which I greatly appreciate. I also found it a bit frustrating that I was automatically scheduled for another visit without requesting another appointment just because our schedule is very hectic and they have a $50 cancellation fee. Lastly I had sticker shock at the cost even when insurance was applied.
