A few days ago I attended a Dan's Papers event out east in the Hamptons, held at the restaurant here, right on the water. The weather was perfect and the views were incredible, I don't think I'll ever get over how beautiful it is out there watching the sunset. SiSi's provided food, wine, and drinks, and there were so many brands and businesses set up with mocktails, cocktails, food samples, and desserts, you name it, it was there, and everything was delicious. I tried swordfish for the first time, or at least the first time I can remember, and it was so moist and buttery, honestly perfect. I also had the freshest oysters, and tried Maison Perrier, a prebiotic drink that was so good. They also had live entertainment and music and fireworks, I genuinely could not get over how much they packed into one evening. If you're interested in one of their events, they only have a couple left this summer, so definitely grab tickets soon. This was such a beautiful evening right on the water. I feel like sometimes we forget what's in our own backyard here on Long Island. Ten out of ten, highly recommend! read more

Si Si? More like No No. Really disappointing experience from start to finish. The host told us to wait at bar, and then 20 min later I asked him how long it would be and he told us a table had been ready for us... the bartender wouldn't make eye contact with us and never came to serve us even after I asked for the menu... completely ignored us, and our waiter was sassy, dismissive, and acted annoyed anytime we asked for anything. Our whole chicken arrived intact with no carving or serving utensils, making it nearly impossible to eat, and no one checked on us to help. Worst of all was the handling of my food allergy. Our waiter told me something was safe to eat, then came running back seconds later yelling "wait" and took it away. Thankfully, I hadn't eaten it yet. We tried bread/truffle butter, pastas - fav was quadrotti, zucchini stractiatella was outstanding and had slight kick which we loved, and creme fraiche cheesecake was delicious and very light. this place is a big pass, a total has been...unless you're a large group and can't get a reservation anywhere else (there were multiple large tables set up empty ready for big groups). we sat out on the deck. the furniture was so odd. they had tons of those cheap white rental chairs that you see at a wedding venue around the tables. then the wine came. such a small pour and warm. next the greek salad with mealy tomatoes. then the lamb burger with a long hair inside of it. lob salad was ok...i asked for the bacon well done and it was not. swordfish kabob just fine. ugh..sry sisi. never again. read more

We ordered the fried calamari appetizer which was great. It came with artichokes, peppers and tomato's. My spicy rigatoni wasn't really spicy and the taste wasn't a true vodka sauce. The location is stunning, the best view in East Hampton hands down. Years ago when they opened the food was actually good. Now it is beyond mediocre at best and very over priced (even by hamptons standards). The service has taken a major hit as well. My Husband waited 45 minutes for a beer after checking in and asking many times. (Mind you it was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was half empty). We had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. Due to an unexpected storm at home, we had to cut our vacation short and cancel our reservation. We notified the restaurant immediately, yet were still charged a $200 cancellation fee--even though it was a Tuesday night and the restaurant had plenty of availability. I made several calls and was promised a manager would get back to me--no one ever did. I also followed up with three separate emails and received no response. This level of customer service is unacceptable and comes across as greedy and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to others, especially those who value respectful and responsive service. read more

Good on a non holiday weekend. The service was good, the view is spectacular, and the food is decent. The chicken was very fatty and lacked flavor. The Wagyu Strip Steak was perfectly cooked. This place has no side vegetable options either the exception of salad. This place seems to be hit or miss. When it's not busy, this place is great. When it's busy, (based on other reviewers and my own experience) this place can't handle the large crowds when everyone wants to come watch the sunset. The view of the sunset and the ships were beautiful. The grilled chicken was delicious with the veggies and the scallops were perfect. So much wasted potential. This is a beautiful restaurant parked on the water with spectacular views, comfortable seating and really delicious food. The food and drinks do come at a price and that price is pretty damned high but it's East Hampton and it's the summer so it's to be expected. When paying north of $25 for a drink and $50 for a plate of pasta there's the expectation of flawless service and this, my friends, is where they drop the ball. A+ food with C- service. Our server, while nice, couldn't really keep it together enough to serve a second round of drinks or offer us dessert, hence 3 Stars at what should be a 5 Star place. Also, the pandemic's over and so should QR coded menus. For what you're charging, print a damn menu, put it in a hand stamped leather sleeve and hand it out proudly. No one wants to squint at their phone when ordering anything, much less really expensive food. read more

My friend and I visit Montauk every summer and tried to get a reservation at Si Si last summer but they had a wedding the weekend we were there and we're fully booked up. We were so excited to get a reservation and probably the most beautiful table in the whole restaurant this summer. To start we got the zaatar roasted cauliflower at the bar while having a glass of wine. After our app and drinks, we made a tour table and we're so pleasantly surprised with the view. It's definitely better to wait till later in the night so you can get to watch the sunset on the water! The spicy rigatoni was amazing unlike other spicy rigatoni's I've had. Definitely add the lobster (don't think about the price...just do it)! Si Si was beautiful and delicious, we will be back! read more

The atmosphere can't be beat. When they served my wife warm white wine and she asked for a new glass, the waiter gave us some attitude. That was not our overall experience with the service but objectively warm wine isn't ok. The mezze platter and frito misto were quite good as was the spicy rigatoni, but the steak tasted like it had been left outside for a few days before being cooked. A $100 ribeye should be flawless. They did take it off the check but that should never be an issue. This was our second time there this summer. Our first had some minor service issues but the steak is why I'm leaving a review. read more

I want to leave an honest review of this place. I stayed in the Hamptons recently and found this place because it was recommended to go there for best sunset views. Well weather permitting, because the day of my dinner it was cloudy so no beautiful sunset. I booked the place in advance and wrote in the notes that I would like to sit outdoor since I am coming with a small dog. Then I tried calling them in advance to confirm but they never pick up the phone. Someone from their office called me 14 min before when we were literally driving in to say that dogs are not allowed on premises at all...even outdoor. I would have appreciated if it was done before. Nonetheless, we got seated outside on the day of the dinner. There was no wait time and our server was a sweetheart. He was very nice and made sure we are taken care of, although their service seamed hectic. Orders were incomplete and delayed. The ambiance of the place is great, it's very bougie. The outside view is beautiful, would be greater if the weather cooperated. Food...not good at all, hence the 3 stars. I ordered seafood misso fritto and everything was sooo salty as if someone did it on purpose. I tried to eat it but realized I could not. Apparently my husband who had the lamb burger was struggling with it too. The burger and fries were oversalted. We told our server and returned the food. We didnt want to cause any issues so we said it was fine that we were full already. And I have to be honest the server was great, he made sure our voices were heard and gave us a complimentary chocolate cake to go. The cake was not good either, it was not tasty. We came for a bachelorette dinner with a prepaid prix fixe menu and open bar, expecting a fun night. What we got instead was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the start, no one gave us a cocktail menu. Instead, the server kept pushing large pitchers of unknown drinks without explaining what they were or whether they were included. They were not. We were never offered tap water and were instead served bottles of still and sparkling that had already been opened and added to the bill at $40 each without our consent. Throughout the meal, the server vaguely said things like "I'll bring you some stuff" without clarifying that it wasn't covered under our package. When we said we didn't like the drinks he kept bringing, he literally rolled his eyes and brought more, insisting "these are better." Then, they offered us espresso martinis, which we assumed were included. They were disgusting. The drinks were clear and tasted like whatever comes out of a Nespresso machine after cleaning it. They charged us for those too. As if that weren't enough, they brought us shots we never asked for. They spilled one all over one of the girls at our table and then realized they had actually given us another table's shots. So they took the half-drunk shots and passed them to the correct table. No apology, no offer to comp anything. In the end, we were charged over $250 per person for a completely mismanaged, dishonest, and uncomfortable experience. Do not come here for any kind of event. Sí Sí is an exceptional restaurant with sunset views. The cocktails are absolutely fabulous-- I highly recommend the watermelon high, but you can't go wrong. My dining companion and I shared the Greek salad and octopus to start. The salad is a generous portion of cucumber, tomato, pickled red onions, feta and luckily for us, not too many olives. It's a refreshing dish to open the palette during a waterside dinner. The octopus was delicious and tender, served with plain-ish potatoes and eggplant yogurt. The mushroom pasta is to die for, and my companion enjoyed the scallops with well-seasoned roasted cauliflower. He also enjoyed the pistachio-crusted cannoli -- I appreciate the creativity but not a cannoli gal. Our server was attentive and friendly. He gave excellent recommendations and best of all, he didn't rush us to order or pay the bill. Go to Sí Sí around sunset for an elevated cocktail at the very least! read more

I've been wanting to try Si Si for awhile now, as they have a really amazing Instagram, and they can sell this restaurant on so many points. From the views to the vibes, the food to the parties, this spot looked like it is "where it's at", and for the most part it truly lives up to it. The star loss only goes for the price of the meal. This place is expensive, and I mean baller out of control expensive, like $25 cocktails minimum expensive, and this is lunch I'm talking about, Dinner is even more high priced. Yes, this is the Hamptons, things are pricey I understand, but wow! $200 for 3 apps and 4 drinks. This is high. Anyway, everything else is wonderful. We arrived literally at 12 noon, right as they opened and were the first one seated. The whole restaurant empty. So relaxing and so nice. Very friendly staff, accommodating and professional, helpful and personable, great service from Host to Servers. The bussers might have been a little rushy with cleaning the food, but the place wasn't busy so they just wanted to look busy. The food is delicious, the drinks are amazingly made. We got Tuna Tartare (A) Fresh, Light, Tasty and perfect with the chips. Zuchinni Chips (A+) Lightly fried, tasty dips, plentiful amount, easy to share amongst at least 2-3 people. And some Salad with Haloumi Cheese, so good, also delicious. The weather was gorgeous, the water views were perfect and serene, and we realized after finishing, this is a restaurant included in the Hotel and Resort Area, which we weren't aware of. So this resort has 2 restaurants, a Bakery/Coffee Shop, Private Beach, Cottages, Tennis Court, and a few other things, very exclusive and posh. Everything was beyond words. I am definitely coming back and is worth the 2 hour drive from my house. I was here for the weekend for my bachelorette party and couldn't have been happier that my girls made reservations for lunch here. The tzatziki sauce is amazing as well as the branzino and their drinks. And the killer view of the water. They even have warmers if you wanted to sit outside at night for chilly nights. And to top it off, our server Angel was literally an angel. We wanted to just invite him for our weekend. All of his recommendations were superb and his glowing personality made the entire experience so fun. He was one of the highlights of my bach party weekend. The only neg thing was that there was a bday party with a rude girl who was being nasty to him and trying get out of paying her bill. Angel comped her group free drinks and handled it like a pro but I couldnt help myself and had to intervene by giving him a hug and telling him how amazing he is as I was leaving. Location, location, location. This is such a wonderful place to go to watch the sunset. It's truly breathtaking. The service is very hit or miss and I've been a bunch of times. It seems like the restaurant just isn't stocked properly. One time they ran out of forks!?! Then another time the bus boy was running around looking for a Togo bag. Just odd ways to slow service down during busy season out east. I think management could work on that. The food is decent. Good Wagu filet, the fries were yummy too. But there's nothing green and fresh on the menu. Like a house salad or grilled asparagus or roasted broccoli. Just the lobster Cobb and some creamed spinach. Oh, And the sushi was served with no soy sauce. Kinda weird considering they have several rolls and two separate sections of sushi on their menu. Plus it comes with wasabi and ginger. I really want to like SiSi. The location is great, the food is delicious, but the service and overall operation was questionable. The atmosphere: was great being right on the water. Sitting outside at sunset is a must. The music, on the other hand, had a party vibe, which didn't quite fit the style I would expect. The staff: were friendly but the service was not good. For my party, we didn't have issues, but multiple tables around us did. For a restaurant that charges a high price, it is expected that everything is available on the menu. Typically, specials will sell out, but on the night I went 4-5 main dishes sold out, leaving some tables questioning why they came. I understand selling out of one or two dishes, but certainly not what seemed like half the menu. The food: was delicious. The meze appetizer was really good, but $49 for a cold plate of dips is a steep price. The chicken was tasty, but the short ribs really were the highlight of the meal. Recently opened, Si Si offers a solid range of Mediterranean dishes, indoor and outdoor marina-side dining, and interesting wines and cocktails. Reservations are recommended, although the dining capacity is pretty large. Hosts are friendly, and wait staff are cheerful and enthusiastic - but a little disorganized and slow still, likely teething problems for any new restaurant. On a weekday evening at around 8PM, we were seated after a 5-10 minute wait from our reservation time, and the table was set as we were being seated. We had to remind the server several times to bring bread, and waited a little for our drinks to arrive. However, once we'd placed our order for apps and entrees, the food arrived before we'd drained our glasses. Highly recommended: Chopped Salad, Bucatini Verde and Za'atar Roasted Cauliflower. Just ok: Seafood Fritto Misto, Spaghetti Vongole. Bread service (very dry and stale), although the citrus oil was amazing. Expect beautiful marina views, tasty food and a little patience for this new team. My rating is a solid 3*, with one added for the exceptional location and views, and the fast and friendly complimentary valet service. read more

My latest experience here (I've been here a dozen times over many summers) was so terrible it is motivating me to leave this review. AMBIANCE: The view is TDF. Without question. We take out boat so it's so great to dock right there. The restaurant itself is lovely. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. One star for all this. Zero stars for everything else. FOOD: The food was inedible. My partner ordered pasta was so *undercooked the pasta had crunch to it, the sauce tasted like it came out a cheap jar, and arrive barely above room temperature. Two of us ordered the scallop entree. Both so salty (and I like salt) that neither couldn't be eaten. When we told our waitress, she was apologetic and got us a replacement entrees. That was to be expected, right? The next one - also inedible. So salty that it clearly wasn't an aberration but some strange culinary/chef choice? Who knows. Then after pushing the inedible food around the plate, the general manager comes over to us and, with real sincerity, tells us that he will comp our meals. We thought he'd comp *all the meals. But only comp'ed the three of the four ones we could not eat. Still got charged for one of the replacements meals which was also not edible. As if *not charging us for their inedible meals was some sort of gracious act. Ridiculous. PRICE: Next, price. Fine. It's the Hamptons. It's peak summer. But $70 for one glass (on the rocks) of Casa Dragones Reposado is egregious. Seventy. Dollars. Single pour. And there are no prices on the menu. The waitstaff don't offer prices. And that's on me, too. I shoulda asked. I will never go back to this restaurant again. There are better sunsets and better food elsewhere. read more

While the view is amazing, it is tough to recommend this place. First, our $100 streak tasted and smelled rotted. It did get taken off the check, but with half of it being left when our server came to bus the table, he should've known to look at a half eaten $100 steak and asked if something was wrong with it. Our server gave us attitude or forgot to bring something on multiple occasions to the point where I had to go up to the bar myself to get what we needed (the bartender was very nice). The rest of the food was fine, but the mezze platter only comes with two pieces of pita bread. For $50+ it should be at least 4 pieces. The fries were good, but they were nothing more than regular fries with a little bit of feta sprinkled on. For nearly $20, I'd expect them to be more special. Overall, it is extremely difficult to recommend this place to anyone, and I likely won't be going back. read more

I made the mistake of booking a Father's Day brunch at Si-si, thinking it would be a nice treat. What a joke. My wife, daughter and I arrived at noon and ordered six oysters, a lobster salad, and a burger. The oysters arrived promptly--maybe the only thing this place can do right, and even that's up for debate. After that, it all went downhill. While every other table around us was enjoying their meals, my family was left waiting and watching, ignored and forgotten. At 1:30, with still no food in sight, we flagged down both the waitress and the manager. Both acted like this was totally normal. By 1:45, with absolutely nothing else served, we had enough and demanded the check for the oysters--which should have been free, given the nightmare. Not a single employee offered an apology. Instead, they shrugged it off like it was just another day at this disaster of a restaurant. No manager, no waiter, not even the hostess cared to make things right. Seriously, DO NOT waste your time or money here. The owner clearly doesn't care about service, quality, or customer satisfaction. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.
