First time trying this restaurant. I wanted chicken soup on this cold night, but something more flavorful than Campbell's. I should've stuck with the canned soup. Chicken pho was bland and flavorless. After pouring the broth over the noodles, I noticed a long dark hair in the broth bowl. I know it won't kill me, but it's not a good look for my first time trying the place. I also ordered fried spring rolls and they were bland too. Even the dipping sauce was just meh. My friend and I wanted to have dinner in Windsor area since we had to head up to enfield right after. We discovered Siam so decided to try it for the first time. We both ordered the chicken drunken noodle for dinner and it was amazing. We both enjoyed the meal and had no complaints. I would definitely come here regularly if I lived closer. read more

Located in a very small downtown of Windsor, this cornering Thai restaurant serves great Thai food that will help seize your cravings. Boyfriend got the drunken noodles with shrimp and I got the pad see ew (?.. apologies if I'm butchering the spelling) with chicken. With honeydew and Thai tea boba and fried dumplings. The service is the only reason it got a 4 instead of 5 is bc their service is insanely slow. There were a lot of upset tables about receiving no service and for food coming in at very different times. Our food was absolutely delicious and PIPING hot but the food for our table of 3 entrees.. came at various times. And it was annoying. Other than that, it was so good. The best Thai we've had since moving here. Their boba balls was actually pretty good! The drinks were okay, wish they could shake them more? It was grainy from the powder lol Other than the super slow service, the food was great. Definitely will be back still lol read more

The food was amazing! Yum! One of the best I've had in awhile. It is a super quaint location, and the food is fresh and made with love!!! The staff is friendly and attentive! I ordered the crab rangoons, shrimp spring roll and the Tom yum soup. I was not disappointed with any of it. The rangoons Shell was so fresh, when I bit into it, it was soft and tasty! It was not fatty and greasy. Guiltless! The spring roll and the sauce was yum! I like that they cut it into sushi like pieces! Lastly, the Tom yum seafood soup! I loved the Tom yum soup. It had big chunks of seafood, the broth was fresh and I loved that it didn't taste salty. I loved the food sooooo much, I could eat here every weeks. Sometimes Thai restaurants have heavy sauces that are too heavy, this was not the case. Everything thing was amazing! well done! read more

Yes! Finally a local Thai place that hits all the buttons of feels. Great visual appearance, great smell, great taste, all of it - great! We got this reco from parking randomly next to someone in a lot and started chatting it up about food. She said this place was great and she didn't lie. We ordered a lot to check it all out. Veg pad thai, chicken pad thai, tofu drunken noodle, eggplant magic, crispy spring rolls, fresh veg rolls, and tofu triangles. All the meals were packed full and we were able to have leftovers for a few days. I might skip the veg fresh rolls next time however, I didn't care for their peanut sauce, it was a little too sweet for my liking. And the sauce for the tofu triangles was good, but really could have been thicker to adhere to the dunk. Other than that, we loved our first trip to Siam Corner. They are doing a phenomenal job on Covid protocols now as well. Masks required, hand sanitizer before you enter the restaurant, plexi shields up around the whole food service area. We love using YELP when we are traveling for all the obvious reasons. But the big reason is because of the reviews everyone leaves! That helps immeasurably in deciding. We love Thai Food and this place has it all going on! The freshness that really well prepared fruits, vegetables and desserts are so amazing. I can't enjoy the spicy foods but I drool for the different spices and sauces, today I went for the Orange Chicken and it was the best I ever had! The sauce was so light but so incredibly flavorful and the detail was wonderful. My husband had the "Green Love with Duck" and he had to push the food away so we had some for lunch! Then we had a shared dessert of Ice Cream with fresh mango and fresh coconut milk and sticky rice, a religious experience! We had starters of Scallion Pancakes and Chicken Satay! None of our food had been frozen everything was beyond awesome! We rolled out filled up, with a little tease for lunch tomorrow and we will sleep well in our hotel tonight, well fed and happy! We have tried several different Thai restaurants in the area and Siam Corner is definitely the best. We usually get drunken noodles and one of the thai curries and have always enjoyed the food. We also love that they have bubble tea here! The bubbles are not always super fresh in taste or consistency so that is one negative, but the teas themselves are yummy! They also deliver which is a huge plus! read more

My husband and I stopped in for bubble tea. We usually go to West Hartford or Northampton for bubble tea but I didn't want to drive 30+ minutes. I asked for mine to be dairy free since I have a dairy allergy and my husband got regular milk. I watched the server make the tea. This was not tea, this was powder with water added, half and half, and condensed milk for sweetener. My dairy free tea was made with almond milk but condensed milk was still added. Luckily I'm not too allergic to dairy so it didn't bother me too much when I saw it being put in. The server also used the same spoon to stir both drinks again luckily I'm not too allergic to dairy. Both of the bubble teas came out to a little under $10. We paid and went out to the car to go home. I took my first sip and I nearly gagged. This was SO SWEET, you could definitely feel the grit of the powder and it had a terrible after taste almost like cheap bubble gum. I chucked it in the garbage immediately. We will not be returning here. I guess this is what we get for not going to a proper tea house. read more

New owners? Think they need better process or more staff. Never got to try the food with new owners as they seemed overwhelmed with people waiting for take out. Several left before food was ready. I waited 20 minutes past what they said (had given me 30 minute pickup time) and i had to leave. Ironically there were at least 3 other orders ready to be picked up. read more

This place is great! I'm a Windsor resident and I've been watching restaurants come and go from this location. I hope this one stays! It's mostly Thai food with some various other Asian cuisines thrown in for good measure. They have bubble tea as well! Came for lunch today with my father. Their lunch portions are good sized (I took half of it home for dinner) and it only cost $8! Not only that, but they also bring you a crispy spring roll to start and even gave one scoop of strawberry ice cream at the end. Good touch! I got the Pad See-Iew and it was delicious. It's my go-to noodle dish when I go out for Thai food. My father ordered the Crispy Tamarind Duck. He said the duck was delicious but sauce was a little sweet for his tastes (but he ate pretty much the whole thing). I am looking forward to coming back for more lunch dates. Woo-hoo........Siam Corner is back opened and ready for business. They had closed for renovations but reopened about 5 days ago. We went for dinner on that super-hot Saturday night, but noticed there were a few others brave/crazy enough to have some great food in air-conditioned comfort. This is our go-to Thai place. I love their egg rolls and pork dumplings. They also have the best drunken noodle dish I've had. I especially like that the noodles are cooked to perfection and no noodle is without sauce (I've had noodles at other places that weren't soft all the way through and had spots without sauce because they were too thick and folded.) This place also adds those baby corn things to their drunken noodle, which I've never encountered in that particular dish before. I think that's why I like it more so than other places. The service is always quick. And the people who own the place are extremely friendly. We are happy to support this place! read more

After months and months of driving by Siam Corner, I finally decided to order takeout while sitting in CVS drive-thru. I'm glad I did because I was not disappointed. My food was ready when they said it would be and it was a good sized portion for the price. The woman who took my order over the phone was very pleasant and so was the guy behind the counter. However the service was friendly and most importantly, the food was fresh and very good. Really happy to have actual Thai food in Windsor! The thing to remember about any Thai restaurant is that a Thai chef will literally make anything you want: want egg in your krapow, they'll do it. Want loads of garlic, want exactly 4 chilies, they'll do it. When I went to Thailand I was amazed that nobody used the menus, they just said what they wanted and out it came! So definitely just say exactly how you prefer it cooked and these guys will be really excited to do it for you! Also, there was a stupid story from this summer that mentioned this restaurant. It was actually in an apartment in the building with NO relation to Siam Corner, so we can all chill on that. It's a great place--I went there in conjunction with a bit of pub happy hour at Train Wreck (awesome) and Union (much improved since there's competition now!). read more

First experience about a week ago was great. I had the beef Pho on a cold day for lunch, it warmed me up and tasted delicious. Free spring roll was a nice addition and some ginger and coconut ice cream finished me off...5 stars. Second visit today was a different story. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the taste was decent however the small portion of chicken was lacking flavor and the pieces had tendons that were extremely unappetizing. Very good. I find the reviews on here are artificially high, and I mean that in a general sense across all restaurants. This place is not five stars. Five stars means the best food I've ever had ever for that style of food. This place is a 3 to 4 and by that I mean it's good to very good but not the most amazing Thai you've ever had. Siam Corner was recommended to me by a local and even though it was a bit of a drive, I found it was well worth it. The space is small but well maintained and I felt welcomed by the staff who were appropriately attentive. I ordered the gyoza for an appetizer and was surprised by the size, shape, and condition. They were perfect bite-sized pieces of deep-fried gyoza (not pan-fried) and we're served with traditional gyoza sauce along with some spicy condiments - delicious. Next, I ordered one of my favorite Korean dishes, bulgolgi. The beef was tender and the vegetable fresh and cooked tender-crisp. The sauce was a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. This is my favorite Thai Restaurant so far. I prefer it over the Blue Elephant in West Hartford, Thai Palace in Bloomfield, and Coco Thai in Suffield. They are all good but this one tops them all. Everything very fresh and homemade. The spring rolls and crab Rangoon are great. As was the yellow curry and drunken noodles. Modern clean decor. Excellent service.
