    Emperor Chicken
    Adam L.

Hate to say it but was really disappointed with my order here. On the positive the emperor chicken was pretty ok, didn't travel great, can imagine it would be better in the restaurant. Not remarkable though, have had better versions of the similar thing at other Thai places. Also ordered the Thai dumplings and the moo ping. The dumplings were weird? Super dried out. Just not tasty. The moo ping (grilled pork on a stick) was terrible. I've had this dish all over, in big cities and small towns. Never have I had it so...dry and flavorless. Moo ping usually utilizes milk, normally coconut, in the marinade and a variety of other sauces and spices. There was maybe a dab of fish sauce going on but nothing else. Just disappointing, you don't see it on menu's so when it's bad it's a bigger bummer.

    Duck Rolls

Tucked away by Whole Foods, Siam offers authentic Thai food with a wide selection of dishes. My hot boyfriend and I tried their duck rolls to start off our meal and oh boy, we could've ordered three more plates and called it a night. Those rolls were so delicious. Wrapped in a thin naan, each roll included crunchy carrots, fresh cucumbers, a sample of ginger, and a juicy yet crispy piece of duck. The hoisin sauce really cements the flavors and it was a symphony of flavors when it hit my mouth. I would return just for those rolls! Our entrees came out shortly later and we were pretty content with our meals as well. I do wish my curry was a bit more hotter, both in temperature and spice, but I was so blown away by the duck rolls that it didn't matter. My boyfriend tried a soup dish and was surprised to enjoy that as well. We washed everything down with some classic Thai tea and left full and happy.

This is our go-to Thai take-out spot. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. They're also pretty fast most days. They do a really big take-out business, which is what we usually do. This is a strip mall place. The inside is fine/nice, but nothing extraordinary.

    Chicken satay

Always go past this place. Not sure what to expect, but figured we could try something new. Went full tapas style. Got a bunch of appetizers and had a lot of little tastes. Opted for the curry puffs, pork jerky, duck roll, chicken satay, and these spinach triangle things. Food came out promptly, server was a little surly but not off-putting. We dug into our meal and overall it was good. The stand out dish would be the pork jerky. Had a good amount of flavor and crispyness. Wasn't dry, and the dipping sauce was a nice thick barbecue. The curry puffs were slightly sweet and kind of reminded us of veggie samosas, just without the spices. The satay and spinach triangles were cooked properly but lacked any real flavor. The duck roll was a little heavy handed on the mint, which overpowered the duck and other veggies. Overall, it was a decent meal at a decent price. The only real problem with this restaurant is location. There's a lot of great places in that area, with the only saving grace is that there's no other Thai place around there. I would like to see them get a bit bolder in their flavors. If they could punch up their spices and keep the price the same, they could end up a very solid contender. For now, I would recommend them if you're specifically in the mood for Thai. For more general tastes though, there's a lot of options available.

I've been wanting to try Siam for what seems like forever and I finally got to try it the other night. The pad Thai comes in a huge portion and is absolutely delicious. It lasted me for 3 whole meals, so I was super excited about that. I also got a side of the crab rangoons and they're some of the best I've ever had. Lightsaber chopsticks not included. :)

-Mango sticky rice: mangoes were fresh and I liked the sticky rice was not too sweet! -Karee noodles : yellow curry noodles with carrots, fried tofu and egg Food was flavorful and delivery was quick. Definitely a good casual Thai takeout spot

Basil Thai rice- brown rice with chicken

I have a good friend who swears by this place. She kept telling me to try this place over and over. One day I was out and it was cold and wanted something warm and filling, we were in the area and decided to eat here. They promptly sat us down and the serve was great. Ordered crab Rangoon, the filling was sooo good! It was popping hot and fresh! Totally would order it again! The cucumber salad was divine. It was a good size portion. The dressing had a nice sweet heat. Main course I ordered Thai basil rice (brown rice) with chicken, it was fresh tasting full of flavor and good amount of chicken. Husband ordered drunken noodles with chicken. Again, impressed with the flavor and how well it was prepared. Honestly, I left here satisfied and with no complaints! I would come here again and try other items.

This restaurant was bought 5/6 years ago by the Chinese restaurant across the street. Their building was demolished. For my first drink, I'm having a Singha. Singha is Thailand's original premium lager, first brewed in 1933, known for its rich taste with strong hop character, and is often paired with spicy food. Its logo features the mythical golden lion (Singha) and the Garuda, a symbol of royal approval, making it a distinctive Thai brand with significant international sponsorships in sports like Formula 1 and football. The name also refers to numerous Thai restaurants worldwide that serve its cuisine. They have only beer and wine here. The cold beer glass matches the brand of the beer! This is good. It's cold and easy to drink. For my salad, I'm having the SomTum. Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad) is a beloved Thai salad characterized by a vibrant mix of shredded green papaya, chilies, garlic, cherry tomatoes, long beans, roasted peanuts, and dried shrimp. The dish is defined by its bold, refreshing balance of spicy, savory, tangy, and slightly sweet flavors, often dressed with fish sauce, lime juice, and palm sugar. This is good! It's a big portion. I love the fresh iceberg lettuce cups. For my soup, I'm having tom Yum. Tom yum is a popular Thai hot and sour soup, known for its aromatic broth flavored with lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and chilies, balanced with lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar. The most common version, Tom Yum Goong, features shrimp, but it can also be made with chicken, pork, or seafood. It comes in a clear broth (nam sai) or a creamy version (nam khon), which adds evaporated milk or chili paste. This is hot and yummy! Lots of chicken! The tomatoes retain a lot of heat! For my my entree, I'm having the Massaman Curry with chicken. Massaman curry is a rich, mild, and flavorful Thai curry with Persian and Indian influences, known for its complex, aromatic spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves, and its creamy texture from coconut milk, peanuts, and potatoes. It's less spicy than other Thai curries and balances sweet, salty, and sour tastes, often made with chicken, beef, or duck, and served with rice. They add peanuts too! I'm going to Christen a bottle of Melinda's Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper sauce. The pepper is supposedly 1M Scoville units. Yeah. That's hot. The sauce is not that hot. It's maybe 50K Scoville units. The Massaman Curry is real good! It's hot and delicious. What a great meal here!

I'm a vegetarian so I'm always on the lookout for good vegetarian food. We tried the Thai spring rolls, Drunken noodles (which might be made with oyster sauce so be aware if you are vegetarian) with tofu and sesame bean curd. By far our favorite was the sesame tofu (bean curd). It was crispy and light, slightly sweet and spicy and overall tasty. I've tried several other places in the area and this is my fav so far. The veggie spring rolls were also very tasty, but small. Still great tho, I don't love huge portions, but I did wish I had more of these (shared these and my roommate loved them). When I went to pick up inside the place looked clean, although when I went to the counter the couple and their (i assume) daughter did not seem very interested in getting up to help me. The daughter did eventually and she was very kind. Overall I did enjoy my take out experience here and will order here again sometime.

The Age Tofu was pretty good as a general consensus, though most of the fried stuff was a bit too oily. The Kani Salad was pretty good (their spicy mayo is tasty). The fish is decent quality and fresh. Most of the sushi didn't have too much rice, which I liked. The rice held together well. Still, I prefered the "tataki" (sashimi with ponzu) over the sushi.
