    Paneng K3. Panang Curry Dinner
    Mike V.

Had a good meal here the other evening with a friend who wanted to check this place out with me. The Lao Papaya salad was spot on, the Beef Panama was good, but have never had it with cabbage in it...it was a new twist, the wings were ok. There were a number of things that I tend to like to try that weren't on this menu, but they also had a number of dishes I've never seen before which was nice. Just wish they had pork belly and Lao Sausage

I used to come here all the time they had the best pho in town. Their red chicken curry was also amazing the only two dishes I would eat. But over the last six months to 12 months the kitchen has gone downhill. They're dropping the ball. Red curry used to be thick and creamy now it's watery hardly any flavor to it. Every time when you order pho... the sprouts are always brown & wilted. Now the basil is & the jalapeños. Stinks because I used to eat here twice a week now I eat here once or twice a month I'm pretty much done with this place I gotta go find a better Thai experience in Franklin. Sorry but you guys just lost a loyal customer.

I assume the plastic bread tie was free, or at least cheaper than the room temp egg rolls. This place keeps getting worse every time. Time to find a new Thai place. Sigh.

This place is AMAZING. Tucked in a strip mall off of Carothers is this gem of a restaurant. The Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had. The beef and broccoli is flavor packed and just good for your soul. The chicken pad Thai is equally as delicious. Bamboo shoots, carrots and bean sprouts compliment the rice noodles. The inside is charming and homey. A must have if you like Thai food. Fast service.

    Shrimp N1. Pad Thai Dinner

NEVER AGAIN! Ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai Dinner from SIAM PAD THAI this week, only to discover, while eating my food, there was a a German cockroach in my mouth that had gotten into the food. These bugs are known for carrying bacteria and dirt. Absolutely disgusting. If this wasn't enough, the cashier offered me another plate of the obviously infected food!! She was not shocked, or surprised, which was a surprise to me. There must be an infestation in the kitchen to have bugs that size in your food. Do yourself a favor, and NEVER eat at this restaurant.

Before the lunch crowd packed the place.

Always enjoy the food here. Can't go wrong with the Chicken Pad Thai. Spring / Summer rolls are large and fresh. Thai Tea is also very good.

Found an absolute hidden gem in Franklin tonight!…read more Mi Kitchen delivered from start to finish. The atmosphere immediately caught our attention--creative, intimate, colorful, and just a really cool vibe. Then the food came out and somehow managed to match the setting. We tried the beef tacos, soy garlic wings, glass noodles, and steak, and everything was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked perfectly, the wings were crispy and loaded with flavor, and those beef tacos definitely deserve another visit of their own. ‍ What really completed the experience was the service. Gene was awesome--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout dinner. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices for the quality. It's always a win when you stumble across a place you weren't expecting and leave already thinking about what you're ordering next time. Mi Kitchen is officially on the repeat list. Five stars easily.

From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. The first thing that stood out was their small plate concept, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of committing to just one entrée, and this concept is something I wish more restaurants would adopt. We ended up trying almost half the menu and loved nearly every dish. A huge shout-out to our server, Nestor. He welcomed us warmly, was cheerful throughout the evening, and his recommendations were spot on. He truly made the dinner even more enjoyable. We started with a couple of mocktails, and the Purple Haze was refreshing and delicious. Here are some of our favorites: MI Cucumber - Smashed cucumber with soy dressing, crunchy chili oil, and cilantro. Simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Plantain - Fried plantains topped with sriracha goat cheese, cilantro, and crunchy gremolata. The sriracha goat cheese paired perfectly with the sweet plantains. K-Pop Chicken - Korean sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with great flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Dumplings - Homemade steamed dumplings with edamame, truffle, yuzu ponzu, and garlic confit. I really enjoyed the truffle flavor, though it may not be for everyone. Kimchi Bacon Risotto - Caramelized kimchi, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and shrimp. One of the best dishes of the night--perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. Crispy Spicy Tuna - Spicy mayo tuna served over crispy rice. This was one of the highlights of the meal. The crispy rice was absolutely perfect. Cauliflower Taco - Crispy cauliflower with guacamole, creamy miso, and tsiran spice. The filling was flavorful, and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Lamb Chops - This was the only dish that felt average. The lamb was cooked well, but it was missing a bit of flavor. A little more seasoning, especially some salt, would have really elevated the dish. To finish the meal, we had the Banana Pudding with Vanilla Gelato, which was a delicious and satisfying way to end dinner. Overall, MI Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, a fun small-plate concept, and outstanding service from Nestor made this a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

I'm picky about lettuce wraps, but these were delicious! I will recommend and be ordering them again. I veered from what was suggested as a top sushi entree bc I was fearful of it being too spicy, so we went with a milder version ~ Crab Dragon Roll~ per the waitresses suggestion. It was definitely mild, but adding Wasabi and Ginger kicked it up a notch. I know, crazy sounding, I don't like "spicy," but I like wasabi. I'm weird! Hot and sour soup was about average for Chinese American take out. The chunks, mostly tofu but also a little chicken, were cut pretty big. I always include sesame chicken in an initial order. It's the wife's favorite, and if it's not a good version, the restaurant is not going on repeat. I give them credit, overly sweet and sticky, which is what you'd expect in sesame chicken. Big chunks of nicely cooked, tender, thigh. A few al dente large pieces of broccoli. Next order, I'd also include a vegy dish to better balance the chicken and veg. Also tried the Szechuan triple delight. The dish is described as spicy, and I requested extra spicy, but it still had just a light touch of heat. It was a nice mix of protein and veg. A bit too heavy on the onion. There were just a couple shrimp but they were big tasty and tender. Lots of thin velveted slices of protein - honestly I couldn't tell for sure if it was chicken beef or pork, but it was very tender and pleasant, so I'll just stick with "happy mystery meat". Will definitely be giving Asian Taste a return visit.
