I ordered the calamari for an appetizer in the Kung pow shrimp with fried rice for entree. The calamari was so tough that I just threw it out. The fried rice had very little vegetables and no egg. The Kung Pao shrimp was edible but not up to par as it usually is. Very disappointed in your food tonight! Hey guys you need to step it up! Hot and sour soup was ok, but the flavor was different than what I'm used to and prefer, so I don't think I'd order it again. Spicy chicken with noodles - a nice amount of spice but mixed into a very sweet and sticky sauce. Really a bit too much. No veg, just the spicy sticky sweet fred chicken bites, so I'd suggest ordering a veg side if you want to turn this dish into a decent meal. The noodles were overly oily. The pad thai was inedible. I have been enjoying P.F. Chang's for over 20 years. Over the past several years, I've noticed the food just does not taste quite the same and the service, at times, mimics that of a McDonald's. My experience at this location was horrible. The young male server that we had thought that he was "putting us in our place, telling us off." Poor setting. My family and I went in for our favorite apps and entrees. The entrance had not been swept and mopped. Upon being seated, we immediately regretted our decision to come and left after waiting ten minutes for someone to take our order. Not busy at all. The ambiance is always perfect, it's inviting and cozy. Generous seating space. They have definitely upgraded their management team, and staff. This makes a huge difference, they revamped their menu as well. I will say the portions are much smaller than I remember and little more expensive but everything tasted delicious. I do wish they had more options for allergy friendly dishes, or dessert for family with food allergies. My server did his best he could with the limited menu. It's nice to see a little more vegetarian options added on the menu. Everything was fresh, pipping hot. My favorite was the tofu dish. Definitely ask for the chef sauce to be made ahead of time. Had a 7pm reservation on Christmas Eve. Checked in at 6:50pm and the place was packed. Was told we wouldn't wait long and they would text us once our table was ready. We were not seated until close to 8pm. Hostesses working the front were not very helpful. Manager was no where in sight. After my husband complaining as well as many others waiting, a manager came and spoke to us. He apologized and stated he would make it better with gift cards and discount on our bill. We received nothing, broken promise. We understood it's Christmas Eve, busy night, many people extended their stay more than normal, but prepare your reservation system for times like this and find competent staff and a Manager to help when it's back logged. For many years this used to be one of the places we would go for upscale Chinese food in Arizona and other locations when we'd travel....We hadn't been to one on a while and my wife really wanted to go for her birthday so here's what we found... Ambiance: It's your typical corporate set up / lots of period and cultural decor and styling in the restaurant. Service: It was busy and we were rolling in at 7:30 but we were seated within about 10 min from when we arrived and told them we had a reservation. Table service was lackluster at best. Our waitress never asked about taste, temperature, and never refilled the beverages. She was pleasant but lacked customer service for sure. Food: Food was not bad at all - typical from what I remember it to be but honestly for the prices we'd highly recommend going so where else especially considering they were allowing a dog in the restaurant that was not a service animal. the dog was on the table in a sling carrier and despite being in a sling this is a health code violation...which is not comforting in the least. Price: Very pricey for the food quality and portion size. Summary: We won't be back - at least not to this location for several reasons that one can deduce from the above review. I ordered Kung Pow Beef but was brought Kung Pow Chicken (I like both of these dishes but not from this place. My wife had the triple teriyaki and we had the crab meat wontons for appetizers. Everything look appealing but tasted below mid at best. It is the worst tasting Chineese food in middle Tennessee bar none! You would get a much better meal from Panda Express. We were strapped to find dinner at 5:30 pm on a Sunday night. We have eaten at PF Changs for decades, so we thought we would stop in here. It was dark already but the parking lot was also not lit. There was lights in the parking lot, but they were not on. This made it quite the challenge to pull in and park. When we walked in, the whole restaurant was...off. I don't know if it was the lighting, the decor (which is like the others we have frequented), the size (it is TINY) or the full lobby with mostly empty tables. Regardless it felt so off that we were hesitant to stay. The manager greeted us as at the door and the lobby was packed. But most of the tables were empty. She quoted 25-30 min wait and I think we were seated in 20 mins. Yay! Glad we chose to wait! Our server Maddie was friendly and efficient. We started with the crab wonton appetizer and they came to the table hot and perfect. I ordered my usual Changs spicy chicken and my husband ordered his usual Mongolian beef (with extra sauce on the side). Our meals took a touch on the long side and the server apologized for the delay. As we were in no hurry, we didn't mind. It was odd that most of the tables were empty but chalked that up to staffing shortage which is everywhere. Our meals were hot, properly prepared and delicious. They were moist and flavorful and plentiful. We would absolutely recommend this location to anyone and would stop here again in the future! read more

This place is terrible. Order a dish like Kung pow beef, get 75% breading and very small amount of beef. There's a sweet and spicy soup, tastes like absolute garbage. Everything is sweet and sugary, even the spicy stuff. Their lights hang down 4 to 5 feet off the floor so when you stand up, you smack your head right into it. There is a hibachi place right down the street which is 100 times better and you actually get meat when you order a meat dish. Never ever ever again. read more

I was very disappointed in our take out food. We ordered pork dumplings, Mongolian beef, kung pow chicken 1. The dumplings were very small, same kind you get at Costco, chewy and basically tasteless 2. The beef in the Mongolian beef was as tough as shoe leather 3. I used to love this place. The food was excellent and there was always a wait for a table. Went on a Friday night around 7p. There were very few people there (my first red flag), so we were seated immediately. The prices were a lot higher than they used to be, but the food had been so good in the past, I didn't care. Ordered lettuce wraps and crab wontons to start. Lettuce wraps were just okay but the crab wontons tasted really fishy, like imitation crab not real crab (second red flag). Then came the entree, honey chicken. There was very little on the plate, most of the space was taken up by these white, bland crispy things that tasted like straw. I couldn't taste any honey flavor, just some overpowering spice. I couldn't even eat it. The only good thing was the waitress was extremely nice and kept checking on us. It has been several years since I visited P. F. Chang's so I was excited to visit. The atmosphere was very relaxing and our waiter was professional and attentive. The table started with an order of crab wontons and spare ribs. The crab wontons we're sitting in a spicy plum sauce and were cooked perfectly. The bbq spare ribs were meaty and bathed in a tangy Asian sauce that taste amazing. Underneath the ribs was a spicy coleslaw that went well with the tangy sauce on the ribs. For an entree I went with the Kung Pao Shrimp. I was told that it would be spicy but it was more smoky. I loved it and will definitely order it again. read more

No matter the city... I've always loved this place... the best part was, our server was really solid tonight. The guy, although the had 7-10 tables, just knew what he was doing. *Review is for Happy Hour only* This P.F. Chang's location is in a Cool Springs shopping center and is easy to find. Their parking lot is pretty big and when I walked in I noticed that it was fairly empty but myself and two friends were able to get seated right away. When I opened the happy hour menu I thought I heard angels singing in the distance when I read the line "$6 or less on the happy hour menu until 6 pm". They have an assortment of cocktails, beer and wine then small plates/starters which all are under $6! We arrived at 5:30 pm and we able to order 2 drinks each and several plates to share before the happy hour ended. Drinks: My two girlfriends both ordered the Garnacha Blend red wine ($6) and raved about it. This was all they drank the whole night. I opted to go on a sweeter side and got the sangria ($6) which is a blend of wine and fruit. The drink looked very festive with strawberries, an orange slice and a maraschino cherry on top. This is served over ice. Food: We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps ($6), spicy tuna roll ($6), Cecilia's pork dumplings ($5) and the hand-folded crab wontons ($5). Everything was delicious, well-presented and came out quickly. We were practically scraping the plum sauce off of the crab wonton plate because it was so good that the waiter actually brought us out a dish of the plum sauce with a bowl of the wonton strips that are in Chinese chicken salad to dip into the plum sauce. It was so cute that he did that and we were all cracking up that we continued eating the plum sauce. Service: Our server was funny, nice and attentive. It was technically a minute or two after happy hour ended when we wanted a second drink and he still gave us the happy hour price. He split our checks and made it an easy and enjoyable experience. Bottom line-check out their happy hour it cuts the price and you can share a bunch of food! I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the chain. There's better local options here in Nashville. I haven't been to a PF Chang's in easily a decade but we met another couple here at their request to have dinner. The Mu Shoo Chicken is no longer in the menu which is what I ordered so I opted for the pad Thai chicken and was left disappointed as there was zero flavor to it. Go to Deg Thai or Smiling Elephant or Soy Bistro if you want actually great food cooked well with flavor and seasoned. The wait was long even with a reservation, as we got seated a half hour after our call ahead time and the service was okay at best. Next time we'll recommend going to our local faves when meeting these friends rather than waste our time and money with lackluster food. read more

I met Debbie, one of the upper managers at the restuaruat a few months ago and it seems like she is running a tight ship there. Very attentive and on it! She told me that if there's ever anything I need there to ask for her and she'll take care of it. The food quality has been great and my favorite part is that they deliver their own food! You'll literally get a PF Changs employee bringing your delivery to your door, like the old days!
