My husband and I were visiting Daytona Beach and wanted Thai food. We decided to try this place based on the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. Hubby had chicken with garlic and peppers, I had Panang snapper and we shared Basil fried rice. Everything was well seasoned - you can choose your spice level. We really enjoyed the food and the portions are generous enough that we had food to bring home. The only thing to be aware of is they do not have a bar. You are limited to soft drinks, wine and sake. Visiting from out of town. Party of 2 and we ordered spring rolls (like egg rolls), summer rolls, Thai iced tea, and the seafood red curry. Curry was delicious and spicy. You can modify the spice level for those that have a lower spice tolerance. Thai iced tea was also yummy. The spring rolls had much too cabbage in them for my liking. Summer rolls were okay. Choice of lettuce in summer rolls was iceberg lettuce and maybe it's just me but I think restaurants can do better than iceberg lettuce in summer rolls! read more

Had the opportunity to check out this place during our visit to Daytona beach. We had the thai red curry and garlic n pepper chicken. We ordered both with a spice level of "hot" and it was perfect for my indian spice level. The portion levels were good to share for two people and the food was delicious. Totally hidden gem! This place is looks like one of those place you could miss if you're not looking for it even though it's right in front if you! Looks like a regular restaurant on the outside. Inside it looks a little rundownish. But the service good and the food was AMAZING! The Thai iced coffe and Thai iced teat husband and I had for dessert was delicious if not a little too sweet. My mom and I went here the other night and ordered the Panang Curry and fresh spring rolls. We split the Curry and it was the perfect amount for how hungry we were. The spring rolls were a little loose, but still good, and the Curry was delicious! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful! (Thanks Z!) Great food! Great delivery! I'm not a huge fan of Thai in general but this place is winning me over. Scallops were great. Only word of caution is hot really means hot and medium still kind of means hot. This is not a problem for me but I always like to know when ordering so I can get the right version of "hot". We tried this place for lunch, because for some reason Zen Bistro was closed. Siam Spice is across the street from them. Since Daytona Beach is sorely lacking in good restaurants, it is quite a surprise to have two good Thai places on the same street. I tried chow mein noodles with veggies, and had it Thai spicy. My husband had rice and veggies, not spicy. They were both ample portions, and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service was prompt and not obtrusive. In Daytona for the weekend and decided to give it a try based on my trusty yelp reviews. In short the food was fresh, authentic and delicious. For appetizer we had the summer rolls and Krab rangoon. Loved the peanut sauce and the rangoon had a good ratio of filling. For main entrees we had the combo Pad Thai and Cashew Nut with chicken. Pad Thai was fantastic, with the rice noodles perfectly cooked and the veggies in the Cashew Nut not overdone! Definitely will be back when I'm in the area. read more

I am a total "foodie" and this place was super yummy! After 2 days of eating at tourist places on A1A, I really needed some spicy, vegetarian food. Siam Spice has very fresh vegetables and sauces. The thai iced tea was super yummy. I had the spring rolls which were good, nothing spectacular but still good. One of the guys I was with had one of the dinner specials they were offering which was a mango curry which I tried and was really good. He devoured it. The other guy I was with got the chicken pad see ew I believe it was called. I'm a vegetarian and didn't try it but he said it was delicious. We'd go again.
