I was craving pad Thai and did a quick google search of what was in the area and found Siam Square and I am so glad I picked it! I placed a carry out order and arrived to a friendly staff and my food ready to go in less than 15-20 minutes. The restaurant was empty at around 4:30 on a Thursday and this needs to change! They were working on a repair at the door but from what I could see inside, the restaurant was clean and spacious! The pad Thai was so delicious! I was nervous when I saw it at first because the noodles were thin but truly the flavor was perfect! I added chicken to my meal. The spring rolls were even better! 10/10! I had leftovers for the next day. I will be back!

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! It was quiet when we visited (which I like) but still had several customers. We had good service, efficient and friendly. All of the food we had was really quite good. We started with the fried tofu and the sauce was perfect. Our mains were the Tropical Fried Rice and the Green Curry with Tofu. I was able to sub out the eggplant for peppers and it was amazing. Perfect amount of spice. I did order some soup to go (Coconut/Tom Kha) and it was just ok. I've had significantly better soup but everything else was fantastic! We will definitely be back.

This place was very good, my SIL and I went here tonight because I'm in town for work this week. I wanted to order the dumplings as an appetizer but unfortunately it's pork and shrimp (I am not a seafood fan) so instead we tried the curry puffs, which are basically empanadas, but tasted a little bit sweeter. For entrees, she got the drunken noodles with tofu and I had the Pad Kraprow. I did think the entrees were a little bit expensive for the portion sizes, the portion size was great since I wasn't looking to take home any leftovers but for $17 for dinner pricing I was surprised the portion wasn't bigger. They have mango sticky rice as a seasonal dish which was excellent because that's my favorite Thai dessert, it was $12 but was a generous portion. Everything we ate here was very good so I would come back another time when in town. There is free street parking across the street, as well.

I have been to try Siam square for a very long time and finally got a chance as part of a team lunch. I should say the overall food and taste is very flavorful and that packs a good punch in your meal. I tried Siam ginger with shrimp and it had a good taste. Just not spicy it added a good amount of flavor to my meal. There was an add soup served as soon as we got in which in my opinion is so good for winter and flu season. It was tasty yet was so healing to my throat. Must try!

I love the food here! I got the stir fry mixed veggies with chicken. It was served with a side of rice. I chose medium heat. It was the type of heat that just lingered with each bite you take. Perfect! The pad Thai is also great! Definitely recommend getting it with shrimp! The spring rolls are crispy perfection! Every time I've been there's never been a wait. Service is prompt. It's usually quiet from the times I've been. Even on a Friday night it's a relaxing place to get a good bite.

This was my first visit to Fountain Square's Siam Square, a Thai restaurant describing itself as "vibrant Thai cuisine." If you've ever been to the Fountain Square area, you know the entire neighborhood has a myriad of accessibility issues. I have to admit I was a little concerned about committing to a restaurant I really didn't know in a neighborhood where I knew accessibility could be an issue. I parked 3-4 blocks away in a side parking lot that offered a spot likely to maintain accessibility. This neighborhood does tend to have fairly decent curb cuts, though sidewalks are in various forms of disarray. Siam Square is not on the side of the street that has the Cultural Trail, so the sidewalk here is definitely a concern. That said, I made it fairly easily. Siam Square has a green canopy entrance. It's an older building with a narrow wooden door. My lunch guests had some concerns about my entry, however, I was able to make it. As you enter, you turn slightly to the right to enter and face a hosting area and then the simply yet pleasantly decorated dining room. As a matter of note, my smaller manual wheelchair made the turn fairly easily. However, I would have some concerns about a motorized chair being able to make it. It's a sharp, narrow turn. Three of us were dining and we sat at a 4-top. Our server was quiet but pleasant and helpful throughout our time there.I was the only newbie to Siam Square. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. I was asked if I wanted it mild, medium, or hot. To be safe, I chose medium. I regretted this as I found the medium VERY mild. I ordered unsweetened iced tea and did get my always desired refill. Siam Square has lunch specials Tuesday-Friday (closed Monday). They offer starters, small dishes, soups, stir-fried entrees, fried rice, thai coconut curries, seafood specialties, a small dessert menu, and a small kids' menu. Drinks include coke products, Thai iced coffee, Thai iced tea, ginger tea, hot tea, and chrysanthemum honey tea. I enjoyed my time here quite a bit, a combination of a solid meal and good company with a warm, comfy atmosphere. I arrived right as they opened and it was still fairly quiet. I'm not sure I'd go out of the way to dine here but certainly wouldn't hesitate to return when in the area. As I noted, several restaurants on this strip are not accessible (most have a step into them) and despite some challenges Siam Square does offer a level to the ground entryway. It was a beautiful day to hang out in Fountain Square and I was pleased to finally be able to visit this restaurant I'd long desired to check out.

$21 dollars for this, is sad. But he portion size fits in a cereal bowl. The heat is not what I asked for. My other dishes have hardly any protein in them, even though I had to pay an extra $3 dollars for beef.

There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant and then street parking in front. It has a nice interior with a couple fun bamboo walls and cool light fixtures. We got a table quickly. Our server was nice and checked in throughout the meal. We started with the steamed dumplings which didn't have a lot of flavor. My panang Curry was medium and could have a bit more spice and a few more green beans. Portion size was good and the price was moderate.

I decided to try Baan Thai Bistro after reading a few reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. I called in an order for carry out. I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles with tofu. The spring rolls were light and crispy. I would recommend ordering a few. Or more than a few. My drunken noodles were excellent. I ordered mild-to medium spice, and the spice level was perfect. The serving size was generous. Will have leftovers for dinner, yay! Service was very pleasant. Ordering was efficient. I called in my order and received a text when my order was ready. I'll definitely return, and would enjoy dining in next time. Thanks to Yelpers for the great reviews that brought me here.

They have lots of space to park, but the restaurant itself is very small and there can be long wait times if you get there during peak dinner rush. I think we only ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a table though, so it wasn't too bad and the weather was really nice outside. They also have a cute little tiny library in the parking lot that we perused while we waited. They were very busy and a bit understaffed, so service was slow. It took a while to get drink orders put in after we said we still needed to look over the menu. Three out of four drinks came out after a bit of another wait, but the fourth drink was a cocktail and took 30+ minutes to be brought over to the table after being ordered at the same time as the wine and Thai tea. Our empty water carafe kept getting looked over and we had to ask a few times for another carafe. For appetizers, our friends ordered the dumplings to share and we ordered the crispy tofu to share. While both were good, the dumplings were the favorite. The peanut dipping sauce for the tofu was delicious, but the tofu itself was not crispy at all which was a bummer. For meals, everyone ordered chicken as their protein, but when my friend's curry was brought out the first time it had beef in it, which she doesn't eat. Her husband went up to the front to get it resolved since our server hadn't come back over yet. The correct curry was brought over a few minutes later, so that was great customer getting it fixed timely. Once everyone had their correct dish, we dug in and it was crazy delicious. The spice level was perfect and my curry stayed piping hot my entire meal. Despite the small blips in the evening, which I think were due to being short-staffed, we all had a lovely time and I can't wait to come back to try another dish.

We came here for the Devour Indy menu which was a great bargain. First off though I ordered hot Jasmine tea. It was served in the cutest fancy teapot with matching cup and saucer. For the appetizer you could choose up to 3 different items, in effect make your own little sampler. I chose the Thai dumpling, crab rangoon and spring roll. This came with both gyoza sauce and sweet and sour sauce. Let me rave about the crab rangoon. It was stuffed to the max with a nice savory filling. The wrapper was one of the most delicate things and the sweet and sour sauce was also spot on. The spring roll was delicious, the dumpling not my favorite, but stuffed with a lot of meat and one of my guests praised it extensively. Then we got to choose a soup and I chose gaeng jued, which is about as difficult to pronounce as it is to eat. Those noodles get quite slippery in the broth and hard to catch. But the effort is well worth it. This soup is absolutely delicious. Then on to the main course... never mind I am already getting full. Chicken Padd Thai for me any day. Medium spice, it was not as spicy as I would like it, so you don't have to be carefully with your spice level. The Padd Thai was delicious and a huge serving. I took most of it home since we still got to enjoy a dessert. Fried bananas please. This came with 4 large pieces, so basically a whole banana if you put it end to end. It had some coconut rolled up in the wrapper also and then a drizzle of honey. Very good. Glad I saved some room for it. I will be back for sure. This place is worth it, even at full price.
