I love Thai food. I love how it tastes. I love the big portions. I love how cheap and affordable the prices are for the portions they serve. This place has one of the best Thai dishes around. I live in La Verne so sometimes it's quite hard to find a decent and authentic Thai food. They have a great lunch special where you pick from a good and varied selection of dishes which includes rice and the soup of the day for only $7.95. Let me tell you, for $7.95 you're leaving quite satisfied. I love the Mun su man, its a yellow curry with Chicken, peanuts, carrots, and potatoes. YUMMAAAAY! Also cood is the Kari Kai curry, which is almost the same thing except with coconut milk added. YUMMAAAY!! I know some people are not a big fan of curry. They have a great dish of Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. All of their soups are great. This is a great place. The place itself has a very relaxed environment. Very clean as well. The service is quite good. There are quite a few Thai options in the La Verne/Claremont/San Dimas area; this place is my favorite. The seating area is a decent size but the individual tables are sectioned off giving your party a sense of privacy, which is great. I really dislike restaurants with an open room of tables, they get too noisy during dinner. There are few decorations around the room but are tastefully chosen. The menu is full of the standard Thai fare, I found everything I would expect but not anything I did not. When I eat here I almost always order the Green Curry. Their preparation is as good as or better than anything else in the area plus, their portion is larger and the price is a better value. Other items I've tried include the Tom Ka soup and the House Special, among others, all of which have been great. I would venture to say there is not a disappointment on the menu. The difference between a 4 star and a 5 star review is the staff. Here, the service is always friendly and they seem to remember you even if it's been a while. Drink refills come without asking and our patronage is always appreciated. Do yourself a favor, come here and get the green curry. Great food, great value. read more

This is definitely a place to try. The food is consistently good and their service is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's very nice and attentive, sometimes its just ok. Their all day special is the best deal on the menu. You get 2 egg rolls, delicious wonton noodle soup, and an entree with rice for like $12. My only suggestion would be not to add shrimp to your dishes. It says its a $2 charge, but they literally put 3 shrimp in my dish. Hardly worth it. The only reason I didn't complain is because the rest of the meal was a pretty good deal. No one has been rude to me on my visits like others have mentioned, but I guess that is something to watch out for. Was looking for something new today and came across this place. So glad I did, food was great, place was clean and service was excellent. I've gotten the Wonton soup which is delicious. The Pad Thai with shrimp which was amazing and not greasy at all. The Sweet and Sour Pork which is cooked perfectly as it is crunchy and they give you plenty of sauce. The BBQ was sooooo good, chicken was a tad bit dry but still good. The price for lunch is about $7 for a soup, side salad, rice and entree, definitely worth the price. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years now. The food has been consistently good and still is. I got some take out tonight, green curry and Hawaiian fried rice and the bill $16.45. The green curry was medium hot and the fried rice was very good. I may have had slightly better Thai else where but I can't remember when and where. The prices are about as good as it gets. It seems other places are the same or higher. For all around value and taste this is my best recommendation. I have had better in many categories. Not really anything impressive about this place. Location: Easy to find, located in a newly rebuild plaza off foothill. Atmosphere: Just some booths and tables set up. Some Thai stuff on the walls, that's about it. It was as if they decided since they (think) they serve Thai food they could just buy some Thai related items and hang em up, anyone can do that. Food: Bland. Reminded me of simple microwave cooked meals. There are many other places down the street which have better food. I would recommend the reader try those. Affordable for Thai food Green curry chicken The bad: I had some SERIOUS cravings for spice when I came that were left unsatisfied: The red, dry-ground chili pepper from the spice tray was like the stuff pizza kitchens use (in fact, I'm pretty sure that's what it was): very coarse, too many seeds and not enough burn. You know those little tiny green peppers that you have to nibble (or else your throat will swell up)? They don't have any! Just some jalapeno-like pickled peppers that had virtually no burn. We had the "Special" which included egg rolls, wonton soup (amazingly delicious) fried rice and (main entree) Pad Thai with shrimp & the other main entrees of the other guests were orange chicken & pepper beef. Great value on the lunch specials, sweetest ladies and clean restaurant BUT the food wasn't that great. A bit bland for Thai food. Thai food is known for its flavors and spices and unfortunately I didn't get that here. Fried Rice had too much oil and lacked flavor. Pad Thai was just ok. Sorry, I really wanted to love. Love this place. The pad see ew is exactly as it should be. The orange chicken is exceptional. The best orange chicken. It isn't overly goopy like chinese orange chicken tends to be. It comes lightly coated with sauce while remaining crisp. Can't say enough good things about it. I also love the chicken fried rice and the chow mein. I didn't know thai restaurants did chow mein but it is so yummy. Lots of veggies in it too! I have only eaten inside once, mainly do takeout so can't speak to the service, but takeout service is great. read more
