Very surprised that this was a great experience. The food was very fresh and delicious. I had the spicy tuna roll, dragon roll and crawfish roll & miso soup. All three were full of flavor and soup was hearty and different from what I'm use to. It had bean sprouts, carrots and looked like fish..

The food is excellent and the owner / staff are great. Prices are reasonable and the quality and freshness is excellent.

Wonderful experience!! The food was fresh and the service was fast and attentive. Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is, the chef came over to us and told us about this really good tuna that was very fresh to try and we said oh yes we will try it. Well it was extremely fresh and good. We didn't expect the $14 extra charge for two pieces of tuna. I guess it's our fault for saying yes but it felt a little deceptive.

My daughter has been asking for sushi for days. Decided last minute to eat dinner out and this place was near (been before too). The restaurant is small with maybe ten tables and one bathroom. There is a sushi bar as well but more for looks than sitting at. The waiter was super kind, patient and helpful. The food came out quickly for how busy they were. Door dash people came in consistently for pick up. The presentation of the sushi was beyond expectations and we all loved every roll we got. Captain crunch, OMG, Naughty Girl and Spicy cowboy. The fried spring rolls were really good as well and they even gave us free soup.

Was greeted with a friendly smile when I walked in. Ordered a lunch bento box and a roll. Everything was delicious and at a good price. The sushi chef brought me a bluefin sashimi with truffle sauce, sprouts and some gold flake on it. He was trying out a new combination and it was very tasty!

Great experience! My friend and I shared four rolls plus an order of crab Rangoon. We also got some miso soup. It was quiet on a Tuesday evening, so service was prompt and we got our food pretty quickly. Everyone was very friendly and we were well taken care of. It's a cozy little spot in a strip mall. The crab Rangoon was amazing! Crunchy, generous filling, fantastic presentation. The Eating Nemo roll was fresh and really enjoyable. The Philly roll was good as well, very creamy. The Firecracker roll was definitely spicy! But not spicy enough to warrant a spicy rating lol. The volcano roll was also very good, and definitely great for people who prefer cooked sushi rolls. We definitely will be back to try more things! Please note: no drink menu (cocktails) and you pay at the counter.

Craving sushi so we found this place based on local reviews. It's located in a strip mall and looks a bit outdated but we were greeted warmly and quickly received service for lunch. We ordered a few rolls and they came out displayed nicely. The taste was good. Flavorful and some had a kick of spice. Left full and didn't get sushi belly. I recommend giving them a shot if you're looking for sushi. Great options. Great prices

We have been driving by this restaurant saying, "We need to try this place sometime ." Well, today was the day. This small family owned restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere appears to be a family owned restaurant. The diverse menu offers something everyone can enjoy. In addition to an extensive sushi menu, they have all the noodle, rice, curry, and bento box dishes you find at most Asian restaurants. Something I really like is they have lunch portions and dinner portions on the same menu. You can get reduced portions for a lower price on most dishes. It's my understanding you can order the smaller portion at any time. The price of lunch portions is about the same as most local restaurants. Most lunches are $11 or $12. Sushi rolls run between $8 to $16. You can get just one piece of nigiri st Siam. Its 2 pieces per order most places. This gives you a chance for more variety. Dan got the lunch bento box #1, which is a small piece of salmon in Teriyaki sauce, sesame chicken, dumplings, and 4 pieces of California roll with pink ginger slices. Pink ginger is a lower quality than white ginger. Dan said it was good but not wonderful. I got Pad Thai. Some reviewers said the Pad Thai was the best they've ever had. Maybe it's a matter of taste, but I disagree. I thought the noodles were a little over cooked and the sauce lacked flavor. Perhaps the noodles were just cooked more that day than usual or maybe it's like spaghetti, some people like their spaghetti Aldante and others like them cooked enough that the sauce cooks into the noodles. Some people also like mild flavors. I like my Pad Thai with firmer noodles and a stronger flavored sauce. Miso soup came with both lunches and was quite good. The hot soup was welcomed on a hot day. In summary, this cozy little family run restaurant is very welcoming. The food is good but not outstanding. Prices are comparable to other similar restaurants and lower than some. It has potential. I would suggest offering choices in the doneness of the noodles and the amount of heat in the sauce.

I am confused. When I hear the name "Sian" I don't associate it with Japanese. Yet the bulk of the menu is Japanese food. When asked the server what people typically get, she said sushi or poke bowl. It doesn't seem like the curry or noodle are the popular items but they have them on the menu if you want to break the norm and try. I went with the recommendations and got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll along with the yellowtail jalapeño bomb. The yellowtail jalapeño bomb is basically 6 pieces of yellowtail sashimi on top of lettuce, a salad arranged differently. It was good but not the best salad I've had. The spicy tuna roll and the spicy salmon roll were better than expected. I think my expectation was not too high coming in. The place is small inside but looks even smaller from the outside. I wasn't even sure if I should come in. I am not sure what this restaurant really specializes in but it looks like sushi. However, the name just confuses the heck out of me. Is it 5 stars? Nope! Does it have the best sushi? Nope! Is it worth a try? Yes at least once! So why are you still reading, just go, try, and be the judge yourself.

Sian is a clean, quiet restaurant. I enjoyed the simple decor and atmosphere. The service was friendly and fast, and we had no issues with our order when it arrived. We tried several items, but the meal started with some complimentary Miso Soup (I really enjoyed it, but my wife isn't much of a fan). Then we received two appetizers, Crab Rangoon Spears (delicious) and pork Gyoza (really tasty!). For our entree, we shared a Yummy Roll (which was my wife's favorite), it was excellent, and the Pas Thai (level 4 out of 5). It was the perfect heat level for us, and was really great! I felt like it was a good value for what we ordered, and I would certainly recommend visiting.

Not bad but not great. No wait to get a table, however service was really slow for only having 4 tables having dinner. Order was incorrect but the corrected it without a big deal. The gyozas were very full and delicious. We ordered 3 rolls but the only one I would order again is the naughty girl. Super yummy! First time was awesome, Went back a second time....my thoughts, Hidden gem! Just go there To sum it up, they have good sushi and other good dishes too from Singapore noodles to pad Thai and various Asian fusion dishes. This is THE BEST sushi I've had in Tulsa since moving from Southern California. I've been to trendier places like Yokozuna but sushi chef Sian blows them out of the water with his genuine personality and passion for the food. Sian and his cousin Suan make the place feel like home. It's the kind of place where you can go to enjoy top quality food without having to get super dressed up, and pay 15+ dollars a roll just to be in a place that feels cold and unwelcoming. Everything is made to order fresh, so sushi comes out all together, but if you order the pad Thai or other hot dish Sian will make the fresh for you as soon he finishes your sushi/starters. They ALSO have a hybrid miso/eggdrop, which tastes amazing and is a testament to how creative and customer focused they are here. He said that customers complained about tofu, and being allergic to it, so now he drops scrambled egg into it and it is the most delicious "Asian fusion" dish I've ever had. All in all, I had an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this place for people who want great sushi in a low stress environment with sweet sweet people. read more

Impressed by the salmon/tuna spring roll! Very light and healthy without too much carbs like the rice noodles Vietnamese restaurants tend to use. Creative! I love the spicy flat noodle but probably should have dialed it down to 2 out of 5. I was shocked they served complimentary miso soup to begin and I like the small fruit candy they gave out at register when we paid. All the other customers were happy when they left and I appreciated the worship music overhead. read more

When arriving restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Wanted to try due to the high reviews. Starting service was very slow so decided to Change my order and just get a sushi roll. Roll was made in a decent amount of time but then was sitting there waiting for someone to bring to my table. Roll was decent not bad. The sauces on the roll complemented it well didn't even need soy sauce. Miso soup was given after I received my roll complimentary so that was a nice added touch. All in all for what I got the food wasn't bad at all the service could use a little work not a fan of the kids working in the restaurant. Ambiance was clean and spacious for the space given. read more

BOMB SUSHI AT AN AMAZING PRICE!!! Will 100% be returning! The service was fast and very friendly!! Owner was extremely sweet . I'm from Seattle and I'm used to very authentic asian food and very fresh fish, I won't eat fish anywhere not near a coast line by personal preference so I didn't try the raw fish, but my boyfriend had a poke bowl and said the salmon was ok, coming from seattlites I think that's a good thing because we're very picky with raw fish! Over all 10/10 for a Midwest sushi restaurant! 46$ for 2 rolls, a poke bowl and an appetizer! read more

I am definitely a hole in the wall type place and this was IT! We sat down and quickly had our drinks. (They do not serve alcohol, but that's okay!) The Mussels were absolutely perfect! The sauce combination was delicious and they were not fishy at all! I was definitely skeptical at first, because I've had some bad mussels here in Ok. I would definitely order these again and again. Miso soup was miso soup. Now for the Sashimi Deluxe which is 12 pieces of fish and we had a volcano roll that was on the bottom of the tower. That Volcano roll was packed with so much meat, it could definitely be a meal of its own. It's HUGE and so freaking good!! The size of the slices of fish that they brought were HUGE! Absolutely worth every dollar we paid. This will definitely be my new go to spot for sushi! The prices are so fair and our entire meal was only $54 with tax. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Really like this place. Both the sushi and kitchen dishes are great. My little ones love their dumplings and stir frys . We tried the heaven roll tonight, based on reviews, and we were not disappointed. Excellent. I love live live this place! The quality of the food has always been exceptional. From the sushi to the food, I've never had any complaint about it. What drew me into this restaurant was the high reviews however when I first pulled up I was a little skeptical. The ambiance was nice if you disregard the flickering lights and it being near a weed shop. However the food definitely made up for it. Absolutely mouth watering. The service was all right although they didn't bring one of my meals. They did apologize and take it off at the end so all in all no harm no foul. Overall very nice and definitely recommend getting takeout here. read more

I might not have tried this restaurant because of its location in a slightly run-down old strip center, but after my sister's dinner group raved about it my husband & I gave it a try for lunch. It was so worth it! My husband's tempura shrimp poke bowl was nicely presented. The tempura batter was crisp without a hint of oil, & light as air. Large portion of chopped crab meat. Two yummy bowls of sauces. My bowl of mixed vegetables with rice on the side was well-seasoned & the large variety of veggies seemed freshly cut. My sister's group said they loved the sushi & it looked very fresh today too. Clean if modest interior, very pleasant wait staff & cheerful chefs behind a low counter. Highly recommend! read more

Meh, not impressed. This was our first and last visit. Not sure why the high ratings. For starters, we asked what levels of spice they offered on the dishes. They don't!! That should have been our first clue to leave. My husband ordered a spicy tuna roll for an appetizer. It didn't arrive with the meal. When he inquired it seems they forgot or didn't write it down. They brought it after the main meal. He loves spicy tuna rolls and left half of it. Not so good. The Thai basil was a a box with a small serving of Thai basil along with three fried pieces of chicken and two fried dumplings, which wasn't what I thought I ordered. Each portion was about three bites. The Pad Thai was bland and my husband left 3/4 of it. There are better places we will go for Thai. read more

AMAZING! We love this place! We were just in Napa last week at a Iron Chef sushi restaurant- and this was better. The chef and workers are so friendly and nice. I just moved here from Dallas (where there are many sushi options) and this was by far the best sushi I've had and they pack so much fish in the rolls! They also have great apps, soup and other dishes on the menu if sushi isn't your thing. Definitely recommend this place! read more

She was witty, and attentive, refilling our drinks, checking on us, providing suggestions. I ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes. She offered to bring complementary bread to go with that which was really thoughtful of her. My sister ordered the bowtie pasta while her husband ordered the Cajun chicken.
