When I arrived on Saturday to have this service performed, the guy at the counter informed me that they charge $25 for bringing my own parts. i understand that policy, however was never informed of this when I called and set up the service. Very unprofessional not to tell me this policy in the phone and then magnified by not honoring the quote on the phone. Seeing as I drove 25 min to their shop to give them business instead of the dealership. And that I will now never give them business or suggest them for work because of their poor customer service.

The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !

Had no choice but to find the money to get my bike back out of hock because you would not release the bike till I paid for it in full. So After having had work done with new valves new cam lifters pushrods cylinders bored out 11,000 miles later pushrod let go. Brought it back to him for him to look at told me he didn't know what was wrong but was going to cost A minimum of $2000 to repair. I asked him how could you tell me how much it's going to cost when you don't even know what is wrong. Just looking for quick cash? What was really upsetting is that he wouldn't stand by his work after 11,000 miles.

Initially, I was patient because my calls were made around July 4, however I lost patience when I called more than five times over a period of three weeks and they never returned a call. In several conversations with other motorcyclists, I learned that that has been a drastic change in Barnstorm. It is perceived they are custom shop, at this time but they do not communicate that to the public. While I received an apology as a result of this poor review, Nothing changed!

I dropped my baby off and was picked up by Enterprise Rental and they drove me to the lot where I was given a car for the week. I was really missing my car so the week dragged on. On Friday, when I went to pick it up, all that waiting paid off. Rick's straightened and buffed out the front bumper, took out the rust on the passenger side door, repainted it and cleaned off the chipping paint on the rear bumper. In additional to all of that they replaced the hood ornament, cleaned the grime off of the wheel hubs and gave it an overall detailing. The results are nothing less than stunning. What an amazingly professional job they did. I don't think the car looked this good when I bought it. You can't go wrong with Rick's Auto Body. Their attention to detail is meticulous and their customer service is exemplary. You can tell by the lobby which is filled with motorcycles and the Blues Brothers statues that these guys are something beyond your typical garage. It's a place where they treat you car as if it were their own. No question in my mind, you have a customer for life.

I called right when they opened and explained that I needed a blade swapped out and that I had tried myself and was unsuccessful. They said to go ahead and bring it on by and they would get it changed out, as all of us thought it would be a quick and easy job. Well, they had to pull out all the tricks in the book minus cutting off the bolt to get the old blade off and new blade on. They finally did it and then cleaned it up and put it back in my vehicle. Top notch guys and if I had any other small engine works that needs to be done, I will be going back to them. Thanks for squeezing me in for what should have been an easy job during the snowblower maintenance season!
