So excited to have a Paris baguette in short pump! I love bakery like this. There are a million choices and you cannot go wrong with any of them. After I'm done being pregnant I can't wait to try the amazing looking coffee. It's definitely a busy place but the service is fast. If you're looking for a quiet bakery this is not the place. Everything we tried was delicious. My only qualm was it was a hot day outside and very warm inside.

I was excited to try Paris Baguette as I've heard good things about it. There are several pastry cases when you walk in. You grab a tray and tongs to choose your items which is pretty standard. They also have a cold case with prepared sandwiches, salads, and bottled drinks. I saw the salad on their site, but didn't realize it was something that was already packaged and not made to order. I got a chicken curry bun and a cheese tart. Neither had much flavor. I'm honestly super disappointed. I bit into the curry bun thinking it would be as flavorful and full of protein as brecoteas. That was not the case at all. First bite and got a whole lot of air. The cheese tart has zero flavor too. I'd call this visit a bust to be honest. The store was clean and there was someone restocking pastries while I browsed. Everything was fresh. The tables were all full. I'm glad business is going well. She said they're hoping to have online ordering soon. It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.

If you've visited the bakery at Lotte you will understand this setup. My husband and I were up early. I was going to go to exercise but wasn't feeling it this morning so we decided to try the new Paris Baguette near our house. They open at 6 and we arrived around 6:30. Most of the cases were still empty but they had some stuff out. They also had trays loaded on a cart so I think they were still working on set up. So you grab a tray, put a wax paper liner on it, grab some tongs and pick what you want. I picked a sausage in a croissant, my husband got an apple pastry and we bought two Nutella pastries for our daughters. For drinks I got a coffee, which was delicious, and my husband got a latte. I downloaded the app so I got a free pastry with purchase. I had her heat the sausage croissant and it was delicious but I only ate half and made my husband eat the rest. He says that's why he doesn't always order food because I never finish what I order. ; ) This is a chain. I don't mind that as long as the food is good. It's a franchise too so that means someone owns it and not a conglomerate (at least that's how I want to think of it). It was a little pricey but to me it's not a place to visit daily or weekly. The cakes look amazing and I'm definitely coming back for a slice and a solid cup of joe.

Delicious pastries and excellent service! 10/10 recommend. Paris Baquette has perfect balanced sweet treats and savory pastries as well. They have a delicious egg sandwich with cucumbers on a soft milk bread. Best Egg sandwich Ive ever had

I decided to stop by this morning to try some of their pastries as I'm a big fan of croissants and other French baked goods. It was packed when I arrived and a bit confusing as after standing in line for a while, we learned that each person had to get out of line, get a tray, pick out their items, then get back in line to pay. The line was so long that we couldn't get to all offerings without losing our place in line. I opted for a pain au chocolat, a pain aux raisins and a raspberry almond croissant. I noticed after I got back in line that they had sandwiches and salads, but I didn't want to lose my place in line to check them out. I also would have loved to have gotten a drink and sat down to eat, but there were no seats available. Here are my thoughts on the items I purchased: Pain aux raisins was doughy instead of being flaky and lacked flavor. Pain au chocolat had hardly any chocolate in it and was very bready instead of being flaky. The raspberry almond croissant was the best of the three, but again, was bready and not flaky. None of the three tasted like they were freshly made. Instead, they tasted like they had been made prior and then refrigerated. I know they just opened and have some things to work out, but it's obvious that this is a chain with baked goods that are made in advance.

Beautiful cakes and tasty pastries!

Almond croissant was disappointing. Lemon Custard Tarte and plain croissant and raisin spiral pastry were good.

I stumbled on their white golden pearl tiara cake. I immediately ordered it for my daughter (make sure you request for the birthday sign if you want it!) and put in my date of pickup and time. pickup was easy at the front by the cash register. she pulled my cake and it looks just like the photo on the website! my daughter was delightfully excited when we surprised her with the cake. her and her cousins enjoyed the cake together after singing her a little birthday song! super excited to come back here and try their baked goods.

Whether you're planning a breakfast or lunch date with a friend, grabbing a coffee, or just need a cozy workspace to get some things done, Brecotea is the place. This bakery offers both sweet and savory treats! I ordered the Bacon Stick, which was to die for-- the cheese and bacon combo just melted in my mouth., The Savory Chicken Sandwich, which now lives rent-free in my head, was perfectly seasoned and toasted to perfection. Finally the Strawberry Danish, which was just okay. The minute I walked through the door, I was greeted by both delicious treats and friendly service. The staff was efficient, attentive, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this bakery and definitely plan to visit again soon!

You can't miss it. Step inside and the corner location pays off -- gorgeous afternoon light pouring through a row of vintage stained glass set above the front windows, throwing color all over the pink-and-white interior. Chandelier with little fabric shades, topiary along the ledge, counter seating to watch the street. Charming spot. One small heads-up: the menu is a digital screen, and it wasn't working when I visited -- so you're ordering a bit blind, leaning on the bakery case and whatever the staff can tell you. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing going in. And you're really here for the baked goods, which hold up. The kouign-amann was the standout -- deeply caramelized, lacquered, shatteringly flaky with that signature sugar crust. I also grabbed two macarons (a berry-pink one and a teal with chocolate filling) that were exactly right: crisp shell, chewy center, generous filling. No complaints. The case is stocked with range -- lemon bars, quiche, chocolate cherry walnut cookies, confetti sandwich cookies, Florentines, a vegan peanut butter option, pineapple upside-down, and more. Plenty of GF and vegan labeling, which is nice to see. You can watch them pulling fresh trays from the proofer behind the counter. A few other notes: it's a small operation, so selection depends on what's come out of the oven that day, and the working area behind the counter is tight and a little cluttered (charming, but not polished). Corner parking is street-only and that intersection gets busy. Bottom line -- a genuinely good Richmond bakery with real pastry chops and a beautiful corner space. Get the kouign-amann before they sell out.

Overall, this location of Brecotea has standard drinks-- I especially enjoy the fruit tea and milk cap selection. Regardless, I have to take off a star for the boba quality the last time I went. It was a little undercooked and too firm. I ordered it with the Oreo milk tea (half sweet) and it was sadly lacking in the Oreo department.

It was sweet and creamy and the cake topping was smooth and sweet and foamy. They boba were squishy and chewy and you could actually TASTE the brown sugar flavor in them which I loved, bc I'm *picky* about boba. Nothing worse than a flavorless ball of nothing. After dreaming about this drink literally all week, l returned on Sunday afternoon with my partner. I got the same exact drink but it was nasty this time. (A different person was working, which is likely why, but It was still disappointing.) I only finished it bc I paid for it, but it just was not good. The boba were HARD and when you bit into them, you could see the lack of moisture in the middle. My partner got the pineapple passion fruit tea and liked it, aside from the boba being too hard. They have a gorgeous selection of baked goods, so I also tried the french cheesecake. It was...different. Less rich and way less sweet than your average cheesecake. You can really taste the cheese aspect. Not for me. This place is like a 20 minute drive for me, so I doubt I'll ever go out of my way to come here again.
