Where do I begin.... I traded down from a 2007 GMC Yukon XL 1500 to a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 to get lower payments and still be able to haul my family of 8 around. I know I bought it AS-IS but I doubt very much this thing was ever looked at when it was with Sid Dillon. For starters there were three kinds of tires on the suburban. The rear two were in great shape can't complain. but the front two were mismatched and were bald bald. You would think at a big dealership they'd at least notice that or correct that. Since it was used "AS-IS" they wouldn't work with me on getting matching front tires. would have to pay way too much. so I opted to go to Wal-Mart. Great experience there!!! I did notice the intermediate steering shaft was clunking. I know its common in those years of GM trucks. I fixed that not a problem. BUT the biggest thing was once I got it home about 4 days later when I went to work at zero dark thirty I noticed this funny orange glow on the dash. Once I got to work I flipped on the dome light and seen there was black electrical tape covering... (wait for it).... the check engine light. Don't know if it was the dealership that did that or the previous owner that put it over it to hide the eye soar. I took a pic of it and I checked the dealership website. What do you know it was on their very own website photos so I took a screen shot of that so I could show other people. Then to top it off SD would only fix one of the two problems for that check engine light being on. The one issue was going to require two much labor time to fix. Yeah, I checked YouTube to see how to fix this issue and its about 1-2 hours fix for an experienced mechanic to fix and about a 40.00 dollar part from the parts store (probably 200.00 dollars at the dealership)... I was told that the knock sensors that are not working won't hurt the engine. If that's true then why are there "sensors" for it!!!! Of course when I did get to SD to have them look at the check engine light they didn't even have the part for the one issue they were going to fix. so i had to come back a second time just to fix that. remind you I live in Omaha and its about a 35 mile drive (one way) from my house in Omaha. Then all the fluids were low, had to top off all of them. oil change needed done, new wiper blades, new air filter, the a/c heat controls stick so I have finagle them just to turn the heat up. Like I said, I know I bought it "AS-IS" but some of this could have been looked and at least addressed to me. at the time of the test drive. if you're thinking why didn't I check all these issues before I drove off the lot... I didn't think I had to run my own inspection top to bottom on a car from a reputable dealership. apparently I should have. I didn't notice the a/c controls being all messed up till I went to turn the heat up and it kept going down. then to top it off and this isn't the dealers fault the alternator went out and I had to replace that as well. after a few days of driving it I noticed the brakes were squealing pretty bad. I ended having to replace the front brakes because they were worn down to the metal. no I'm stuck with a vehicle that I was hoping to save a little each month on. I'm probably going to have to replace the power steering pump at some point because that's been leaking like a stuck pig since I got it. I've bought a used pick-up truck from a guy on CL with 230K miles that was in better running condition than this SUV. Then to top it off, I tried to plate it today 10/29/14 before the in transits were up on the 1st of Nov. The title I had wasn't signed correctly so I have to make a special trip out to Dillon's Brothers Harley Davidsons to have that title clerk sign it. I've given 2/5 stars because they did fix one issue that was addressed and I have bought one other vehicle from them in the past and that was a good experience then. this will most likely be the last time I ever deal with SD Fremont and any other SD stores for that matter. Over all it was by far the worst experience I have had so far and I have been to a lot of the local BIG dealers around here. read more

I LOVE this dealership!!! I bought my first brand new car in 2012. The sales team were great! They dealt with my hemming and hawing over whether or not to pull the trigger, and walked me through my car from top to bottom front to back so I knew what I had bought and how to use it. Then the service team has been awesome as well. Each time my car has been for an oil change they check over everything and tell me about anything that "might" even turn into an issue. When I have had to have repairs done they get me set-up with a rental, and keep me updated on the progress. They are always super nice and helpful, and don't treat me like a dumb girl. We have bought other vehicles from them and they treat each time like the first. I recommend them to all of my friends, and will not go anywhere else.
