Came in on a Friday early afternoon and had the best time because of the staff! We had plans to visit other wineries but pivoted once we realized how much we liked it there. We started with the Chip Tasting that pairs wine chips with their wine. The idea is fantastic but the chips were not our favorite. I would recommend a lighter crispier chip to pair with their amazing wines, these are too dense with fake flavors that tasted off. We had a cheese plate which was premade but still wonderful! Great cheeses and exactly what we needed to remove the memory of the chips. We bought a bottle and one of their candles poured into a wine bottle on our way out. It smells amazing! Beautiful property that can be seen from the windows inside the tasting room. Thanks again to the fellas working that day that made it so fun!

It's basically that now as we've been enjoying it for years and years. Each visit is alway nice. Right from driving through the gates and up the hill. The property is beautiful overlooking the valley from on top. Both indoor or outdoor seating available. This visit, it was somewhat chilly so everyone was indoor. It wasn't that busy when we arrived but alway so great to see familiar faces. The vibes always turns to hanging out with friends and catching up from the last time. And you can't forget the wines. Yes, that's the whole point of us visiting. Everything is alway refreshing and delicious. Of course that's bad in a sense as it goes down so well....lol... Some new releases are alway a good start. My group tends to stick to the reds but sometimes a white or rose comes into the pictures and makes a lasting impression. There's been loads of time when we stopped by and the patio is bustling with people and a live bands. Summer is approaching and the fun is about the start. Plus, lately it's alway been a miss with the members lounge. Either closed and this time it was reserved for a private event. Ugh sucks on our part I guess. It wasn't really the hotel's fault, but they made the situation much worse by not accepting the virtual credit card information at the front desk, and I wasted about 40 minutes dealing with payment issues--after a long day of traveling and working. The hotel room had no closet or hangers for shirts, and they didn't provide any bag for laundry. On the morning of checkout, the housekeeping lady was making obnoxiously loud noises outside my room, e.g., banging on the wall. I've had issues with housekeeping trying to hurry you up and get you to leave sooner, even though checkout time is 11am, but this one was the worst so far. So rude and unprofessional. And they had the audacity to leave a card in the room with a QR code to ask for a tip. I tore up the card and threw it in the trash for her to see.

(The town car was taken so a limo showed up, but the fee didn't change.) He picked us up at our Hotel in Solvang, and planned a 4 winery visit tour for us with lunch included. (cheeses, olives, meats & bread) It was delightful. The tasting fees are included in the tour fee, and he knows everyone! So it was absolute luxury while also being really comfortable with Bill, who really knows what his clients want. Also, the combination of selected winery's along with one eclectic tasting room was the perfect combo. If it's your first time doing a Los Olivos area wine tour like it was ours, I can't recommend a better choice than this. The price is right.

The food was incredible--both breakfast and dinner were beyond amazing. Enrique, Rafael, and the entire team (I wish I could remember every name!) made us feel so special. The level of care, attention to detail, and overall service was easily 1000 out of 100. Kat, thank you for everything--you truly made our stay unforgettable. The stables were just as impressive. Jack and all the handlers were not only knowledgeable about the ranch's history, but you can clearly see the love and care they have for the horses--it meant so much to witness that. I'm a little timid around horses, but Russell made the experience so comfortable and special for me. He paired me with Tator Tot, and I can't even describe the connection--he could sense when I was nervous and responded so gently. It was such a beautiful, unforgettable moment. My husband rode Big Elvis, and let's just say... the name fits perfectly--what a character! This ranch is truly one of a kind. An unforgettable experience from beginning to end. We recently stayed at Circle Bar B Ranch for the weekend, hoping for an experience comparable to…read moreour prior visit at Alisal Ranch, which was exceptional. Unfortunately, Circle Bar B fell far short of expectations in nearly every category. We booked Cabin 18, a two-story unit with ample space. However, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floors were visibly dirty, with cobwebs in nearly every corner and overhang. The shower fixtures were covered in grime, and it was evident that the cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. While we appreciate rustic environments, there is no excuse for lack of basic hygiene and maintenance. A major concern was the food situation. While breakfast and dinner are included, there is no menu provided in advance, and front desk staff must "get back to you" with meal details. There are virtually no accommodations for guests who do not eat meat, and meal planning seems completely random. If the property chooses not to serve lunch, that is understandable but to then offer only minimal snack options is completely inadequate. Guests are isolated on a remote ranch and should not have to leave the property just to find a proper meal. Even simple items like sandwiches, hot dogs, or salads would be an improvement. The lack of child-friendly activities was also disappointing. Aside from horseback riding, there is very little for families to do on-site. The pool and game room are the only options offered. There were no organized outdoor activities for kids no open play areas, no nature programming, no campfires, no stargazing, nothing beyond a dilapidated horseshoe pit that looked untouched since the 1940s. Several buildings around the property appeared neglected and unstable, further contributing to a feeling of disrepair. Staff were polite and well-meaning, but clearly overextended. When the same person checking you in at the front desk is also mixing drinks at the bar, it's clear the ranch is understaffed and operating well below an acceptable service standard. In short, we spent more time leaving the ranch than enjoying it. Circle Bar B might have potential, but in its current state it feels neglected, understaffed, and not designed with families in mind. We'll be returning to Alisal Ranch for future trips a property that clearly understands how to deliver a polished, welcoming, and activity-rich experience for both children and adults.

The front desk staff at this Marriott hotel was fantastic, but the rooms were extremely dirty…read more Upon entering our room, we found two beer cans. One was inside, near the bed next to the balcony door, and the other was outside on the balcony, next to a small pile of cigarette butts. The sofa had a large dark stain with what looked like chocolate shavings. In the bathroom, fresh towels were placed on top of an exposed dirty pipe in one of the cubbies under the sink vanity. I'm curious to know why there are any exposed pipes in the first place. I'm sure having exposed pipes violates multiple city and health codes. One unique thing I noticed at this Marriott hotel was that the room had Febreze Car Clip Air Fresheners attached to the AC vents. I've never seen this at any other hotel. I'm not sure if this is standard practice at this hotel or if it was added to this particular room because the previous guest smoked in it. I emailed the hotel general manager, never received a reply or courtesy call. This is not what we expected from a reputable brand like Marriott.
