The flavor was good, but the bread was soggy as well as the fries. Not toasted long enough. Has no affect on future visits, but a swing and a miss on this occasion. Had a pretty surprising meal at Sidewinders this evening. Given all the positive reviews and the massive crowd think my experience may have been an outlier. My wife and I are driving across the country and stopped here to get burgers after driving all day from Seattle. We order one burger medium and one medium well (with a gluten free bun). We got two burgers medium rare (more red than pink to be honest) and didn't get a gf bun. After checking the order the person didn't enter the gf bun request despite speaking it back to us, but did enter the temperature preferences. Unfortunately we didn't notice any of the mistakes until we got back to the hotel. Under normal circumstances probably would have given them one star but given the world is crazy bumped it up to two. Potentially a better place to eat at in person rather than takeout. I'm sure they would have made it right if we raised the issue in person. Given we were not interested in seeing the inside of our car for at least 10 hours that wasn't an option for us. read more

Happened to Yelp this place on our way to airport and so glad we did. We had the most friendly waitress and she was super helpful with giving us suggestions. We decided on the slice of pizza and so glad we didn't buy the whole pizza. One slice is well enough for one person. Very tasty and think crust and so filling! Great beer selection as well. I wish this place would open up a restaurant in the Kansas City area! read more

Good food? Roger that. Great service? 10-4. The military theme is just right, and I like the fact that they are family friendly. On my first tour, I enjoyed the pot stickers appetizer and they were right on target. Had the fish and chips this visit, and the fish was nice and meaty, not a pile of batter like some places serve. Cool spot. Love Old Glory hanging from the wall and the decor is excellent. But above all else I possibly had the best burger I've ever had (or lEast best I've had in a long time)- Cajun burger with a bison patty substituting the cheddar for their ghost pepperjack cheese. Waiter was good, but food was absolutely terrible. Burger was a frozen patty with the "fake" charred grill marks. The underside of the patty was just barely warm while the top was still cold. Tomatoes were mealy and lettuce was wilted. Fries were cold. Had some chicken fingers that tasted like they were cooked the day before Christmas and served the day after. Waiter was super nice and apologetic, but I just cannot recommend this place for their food. Very subpar. read more

Last year when we came through the food was ok and the service was fine. This year when we came through the service was great but we didn't get food we ordered. Someone took the info from me and we saw them one other time to confirm what we were missing then never again and we never got our missing food. At least it didn't end up on my bill. But the experience has soured me and I won't be returning. read more

They get 5 stars for their patriotism. The get a 3 for the pizza. When the very limited amount of toppings are in the middle of a huge pizza it makes that pizza super small!!! A 16" pizza with less than 20 olives!?!? They put on enough CLUMPS of garlic to kill a vampire!! You definitely need to go in and pay respect to the Military table but maybe pizza isn't the right choice. Cozy decor with a fire place which is nice in the winter I thought I'd give the place a try since I pass by it all the time. I had the sidewinder pretzel I've never seen one in the shape of an S makes sense since it's sidewinder. Also had the Reuben sandwich was good. Great stop for dinner. Service was great, restaurant is clean and the menu has a nice variety. The food was good, not the best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst. They strongly support vets, which is nice and cause in and of itself to stop in for a meal.
