The place is just okay. Brand new at this point. Staff: They appear to have just hired the most attractive gals they could find in town. I'm certainly not complaining about good looking girls, but customer service, smiling, and conversing with your bar patrons are ultimately more important. Our bartender was pushy, and not particularly friendly. Atmosphere: Also, just ok. It's new construction in every way. Manufactured concrete facade (fake stone) on the fireplace, and the bar is made of that cheap plastic stuff they put in low-end condominiums to mimic hardwood floors. The high, industrial cielings were a nice touch though. A painting/sketch of the Air Force guys who started it was kinda cool. Overall, a sterile feel. Beer: I was excited when I heard they had something like 100 taps. I was really disappointed when 95% of those beers were the same mass-distributed beers available at the gas station next door, for 5x less money. I'm perfectly willing to pay six bucks for a beer -- but only when it's something that's a little tricky to find on your own. These guys have the exact same selection as the huge national chains like Old Chicago. Ale Works (the local pub with many beers) also charges $6 a beer, but you're getting a lot of stuff that's not readily available at every other bar in town. Not so here. Food: Didn't try. Menu was basic -- burgers and such. Bottom Line: The place is pretty similar to the other west-end restaurant, Red Chair -- with similar price points. For starters I got on the 45 minutes waitlist which was fine because it was a Friday night, but once I got there I waited another 30 minutes before getting seated. My 4-person party was sat at the tiniest square table I've ever seen, there was barely enough room for water cups. After having a decent appetizer we got our main entree, this is where my experience went to hell. I ordered a margarita pizza, now if your expecting good typical pizza seriously DO NOT waste your money here. This was honestly the most irritating part to me, it was late and I was starving and my "margarita pizza" was an odd shaped cracker with craft cheese and a few tomato's on it. Why even classify that as pizza? No where on the menu did they say it was flat bread/no bread. Took a chance going here, will definitely not be returning. read more

My favorite Bozeman restaurant!!! I visit this place once a week. The decoration and vibe is great. It can be a family or date spot. My all time favorite is any salad with carne asada. Sidewinders is a go to for us as it is close to our house and has amazing apps (tasty and great portions). But I was incredibly disappointed with my meal on a recent trip. They have some amazing food but I do not recommend ordering the Cowboy Mac & Cheese. On the menu it is listed as "piled high" with pulled pork and crispy bacon. There was about 2oz of pork in the whole dish. I felt incredibly mislead. There was also no bacon. And the house made cheese sauce?
