For any burger enthusiasts out there, the town of El Reno is a must. El Reno is the birthplace of the Oklahoma Onion Burger... Again, for a burger enthusiast, this needs to be crossed off of the list. It feels like you just crossed through a time warp as you enter the town, right off of Route 66, very cool! There are three old-school burger joints within a mile or two of each other serving the Onion Burger and Coney Dogs. Sid's is clean and the service is top notch. Believe me, your beverage will not go empty. I sat at the counter and watched a young lady cook up my onion burger with cheese and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing. Her time management with the flattop was spot-on. My burger was served up steaming hot and cooked to perfection. This was the experience I wanted. I went to the oldest joint while I was there, to get the full experience and although the food was good, it was very dirty inside. read more

If you're looking for a great onion burger to eat, you need to go to Sid's Diner. I live in El Reno and I would say that this is the best onion burger in the world. I guess it has to be, since it's gotten attention from Food Network's Guy Fietti and Adam Richman, and Travel Channel's Andrew Zimmern. I also personally know the owner, who goes to my church as well, he's a great cook and a great guy. El Reno also has the biggest onion burger festival in the world, Burger Day, where they showcase the biggest onion burger in the world, which which is, on average, 750 lbs. and can feed up to 1,000 people. So if you want a quick bite and a great atmosphere, come on to Sid's Diner! The burgers won't eat themselves. read more

El reno oinon burgers are great i still like eating them even after 30 plus years i enjoy cooking them the most i love my customers and working with a great staff.working with my dad (marty) and (mom) carlynn is a blessing and my wife (courtney) makes this family business successful i believe becuse were working in unison and are proud of the name Sid because that was my grandfather who passed but his memory reminder everyday i walk in. The reason this is a 5 Star? Because you get exactly what you expect. Small diner style Onion burger, shoe string fries and shakes at low dollar. It wasn't too long ago that they would take cash only. I hear a lot of people say "I don't know what the hypes all about, it's just a burger". But that's the thing, if you are going for a burger multiple times... you will get the same, simple burger, multiple times! Consistency is everything and they got it down. read more

I'm obsessed with their chili cheese fries. This place is the only one that I go to on the regular ever since I moved seven states away from home far more better than Braum's and far far more better than anything else that they have around Oklahoma I come here a lot because it's very local there's a good place in the city 2 but I got to say SIDS is probably the best in el Reno. read more

Yes the burgers are that good! We had lunch there today. The place was crowded with locals who seemed very happy to meet two visitors from the great State of Florida. The service was excellent. I had the double burger with fries (my cardiologist just dropped me from his practice). If we lived in El Reno we would probably have lunch there every day. read more
