The place has a good mix of people but typically holds a younger crowd where everyone is pretty good, no trouble makers. Good drink selection and good service. Just moved to the area and found my new go to place. We have been here twice, and both times were great, First time was a Saturday. They have a 2 for $22 special. One appetizer and two entrees for, you guessed it, $22. It was a lot of food. With several adult beverages, the bill was less than $40. Service was great. Sieberts has the best authentic (no pre-packed sandwich meat) Reuben in the entire county. No question about it. Their French Onion soup, appetizer selection and fish fry are outstanding. Went there Friday last because Bristol Oaks stopped their fish fry. Very busy. Sat at bar and ran a tab. Ordered jack & water and a long island. Long Island sucked, jack & water was mostly water. finally got seated and switched to soda. Bread was good, French onion soup was good. Cod was great, as was the coleslaw and house chips. Service was slow, but they were very busy. Overall would come back, but stick to beer or soda - they can't pour a good drink worth a damn. read more

Came here for reuben sandwich and a half pound bacon cheeseburger had regular fries and sweet potato fries. I asked for my burger medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! The reuben sandwich is a piece of corned beef. not sliced like you get in the deli. It was super tender and flavorful. Can't wait to come back here. waitress is very friendly. This place is an excellent choice for a good sandwich or a meal and a nice cold beer. Several kinds on tap and in bottles. Great sandwiches and appetizers, try the Monkey Fries, your cardiologist will thank you for the business. Bartenders are great too. Everything we had was excellent. The monkey fries are a huge, delicious appetizer that we would get ever time. The Reuben was outstanding. The brisket was tender and very flavorful. I was very impressed by this small establishment! We went for lunch. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with Siebert's famous chips and my husband had the Jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich with coleslaw. Both were EXCELLENT! I'm not usually a fan of BBQ pulled pork but this was done exceptionally well and not overloaded with sauce. The chips were pretty good. The jalapeño grilled cheese had bacon so it made it fantastic according to my husband and the coleslaw was awesome as well. Nothing bad to say abut this place. This was a great find! Great food and great service. The Rueben egg rolls were delicious as was the chicken salad wrap, fried cod, potato pancakes and cole slaw. I have been the Seiberts many time over the years. I have lived in Salem since 1975 and there has been a few different operators. The current owners have done a great job with the staff, facility and most importantly the food. Way about average Pub food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. My wife and I have had a good meal sharing some of their top notch apps. I would recommend anyone in the area to give them a shot and enjoy what they have to offer.
