I love this place. It is my go to when I'm in Williamsville/Buffalo area. The food is incredible whether it's a wood fired pizza, the special or something from the menu. Pastas are great, fresh seafood (I prefer the halibut) or a steak or braised rib. The staff could not be more wonderful. Welcoming and friendly. I usually sit at the bar where Angela or one of the other bartenders takes excellent care. Highly recommended for dinner with friends or business. read more

Fancy restaurant where you definitely want to dress up and you're paying extra for the experience of fine dining and walking by a giant block of cheese for grating fresh. What drew us to the restaurant was the wide variety of gluten free options. Not all are listed on the menu, but upon asking, the waitress let us know which dishes could be made gluten free and recommended her favorites. We got the penne romano and white pizza and they were good, but the crust on the pizza was quite burnt. Upon looking around the restaurant, it seemed they all were and it wasn't just the gluten free crust. It was impressive that the waitress could say where each ingredient came from, like the lamb from Australia (I think), but unless your palate can taste fresh ingredients (unlike mine)... It's just a nice story and experience for decent food and drinks. I always amaze coming to this restaurant. I came here couple days ago. Had wonderful time! As a starter we had chicken pate, mozzarella . I had filet mignon was unbelievable. We also had pork chop with spinach & finger potatoes on the side. Of course it's a summer night we wanted to have White wine. Vermentino! I had this wine before when I was in Sardegna and this is even better then I had it. It was aromatic, floral notes, citrus fruits, white fruits and a nutty quality. Very summary and refreshing. Only thing that knocked off a star for us was that they put us at probably the most claustrophobic table in the whole restaurant. It was very crowded and we literally couldn't move our chairs in or out or we would get elbowed by the table behind us. The waitress even kept bumping into my husbands back trying to serve the tables around us. As for the food, it was fantastic. No complaints there. The service was wonderful from the time we got there until the time we left. They had diverse drinks to choose from and a nice variety of appetizers. We got the charcuterie board and the stuffed peppers. The peppers were very spicy so we were glad they brought bread to start. They gave us enough time to enjoy those before they brought out the entrees. We got the short ribs, the chicken & sausage and the rigatoni Arrabbiata. The portions were just right and they all were flavorful and delicious. We saved just a little room for dessert. the peanut butter pie hit the sweet spot and ended the meal perfectly. Sadly, very few upscale restaurants in the suburbs are open for lunch these days. Sienna happens to be one of them though. We wanted such a place for a special celebration. The food? Actually quite good but took a very very LONG time to get. The downside? Our older female server was impatient, RUDE, and did an amazing job ruining the moment with her superior and flippant attitude and inattentiveness. She was additionally clueless about wine service. Everyone has a bad day now and then but after reading other recent reviews posted elsewhere, the way we were treated may be the norm here. Majorly disappointing experience that will be remembered for a very long time. The table we were seated at was very cramped and chairs uncomfortable. Unlikely we will be returning any time soon. My mom won a dinner for 8 from donating at a local school's fundraiser. This was a chef's selection tasting menu so we did not order off the usual restaurant menu. The courses were huge! Each course had a delicious wine pairing. We started with salad with fried goat cheese on the side. The breading on the cheese was crunchy and delicious, and the cheese inside was so soft and creamy! Next up we had shrimp scampi which was also delicious. I loved the butter wine sauce it was in. The main course was surf and turf. The lobster tail, veggies and barley were amazing. The steak was great also - however they called it a filet and it was quite stringy. The meat was good I just wouldn't consider it a filet. We finished up with a brookie - a brownie and cookie baked together with ice cream! So delicious. The wait staff was amazing - kind, knowledgeable and very attentive. Went for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday. Food is always wonderful! Staff were professional, attentive and friendly. We ordered a charcuterie board, the small, for 4 people, and doz and a half of oysters, delicious, and beautiful! Dinner was seafood scampi, pork shank, sausage and mushroom porcini, and short rib with wide noodles! Everyone was happy and satisfied. Absolutely delicious. We absolutely love when they bring us the olives and aged provolone to taste before any food comes out. One minor issue was they did not bring out a dish or bowl for the oyster shells. No big deal! Siena is one of our favorite restaurants. Service is always exceptional. The food is always top notch, too. I had the chicken cacciatore which was on special and it was absolutely fantastic. It was an extremely busy night and we were a larger table, but always felt like we were checked on and orders came out in a timely fashion. There was a slight issue with one of our orders, but the manager was sweet and took care of it right away. Also, if you're a larger table, use Venmo. Don't be extra and make a scene if their computer system can't accommodate separating an itemized bill (also stay home if you're going to be that knit-picky) . The LAST time we were there we were overcharged TWICE in the same night--first at the bar where they added an extra drink and then at dinner when they added an additional entre that no one ordered. Siena is a Buffalo classic. It's a romantic, intimate restaurant located in the heart of Snyder. They do not take reservations for groups under 6, which results in a wait of usually 30 minutes on the weekend. The Italian food is top-notch; it is one of the best in the City. They have a variety of options from traditional pasta dishes to pizza to meat-based entrees. I tend to order the chicken cutlets parmigiana, because it's delicious. I still love this place. Even with all the new options around town I find myself back here often. Even for dinner sometimes. The menu changes every so often, but not too much. The staff seems very consistent - usually the sign of a "good place to work". I love to see that. You can eat at the bar, which I've done. I've also eaten at tables, I prefer that to be honest. While I love a "bar stool", this bar can get busy and it's easier to be at a table, especially if you want to talk to your companion. There is more parking around the back. Today is my last day of work and my supervisor took the staff out for lunch! The food here is amazing! We got here around 12:15ish and it was PACKED. We got two pizzas for appetizers and it was amazing! I only stick to foods that i know, but i was encouraged to try new foods here and I'm glad i did. The wine is tasty as well. For my meal (I'll update my review with what i ordered) it was okay. It was not as good as the pizza. For dessert i had a Brookie and it was nothing less than delicious. One star is taken off because our waiter was not as nice. She started being friendly in the end, but in the beginning she was really not that welcoming. Overall, I recommend eating here! read more

My husband and I had lunch there during the work week and we absolutely loved it. There were only a handful of other people there, my only complaint here in the past has been it can get very crowded on evenings and weekends. I started with a Caesar salad to start I have a seafood allergy so dressing options were limited but whatever they used maybe a lemon vinaigrette was phenomenal. Best salad I've had all year! Then I had the spicy chicken cutlet which was delicious, perfectly seasoned and not too spicy. My husband got the Italian tuna which was absolutely huge and he really enjoyed. We ended the meal with a brookie which we absolutely did not need because we were already so full but it was sooo good. We went here for a date night dinner after a Sunday matinee. I am so glad we came here!!! Honestly, the group of restaurants this belongs to (800 Maple, JT's on Elmwood, etc) we're the only places open on Sunday! If it wasn't for that, I don't know if we would have ventured out here, but I am so happy we did. The food was excellent and the service was great. I ordered two desserts because I couldn't choose between two! The pasta was definitely home made, and so were the sauces. Our portions were generous but not over the top, which I prefer. Well how do I begin. Watery drinks, had to ask for bread after antipasto delivered, main course no flavor. My son's 25th Birthday says to me let's go to Sienas on Main St, we liked it last time. I made reservations of coarse theses days, we had to separate our party of 5 no biggie. I ordered the Frutti De Mare and ask to have it kicked up, still waiting for any kick, taste, flavor. My husband order a veal chop, stated nothing special, my brother ordered Salmon said it was good but didn't knock his soxs off. I have no problem paying for good food that makes my mouth happy but Sienas didn't do this for my family and I tonight. Price to value was NOT there. This is a great restaurant typically. Our table of 6 had four different meals. All were delicious except the lamb which was gamey and a bit tough. Great wine. Not impressed by our waiter.
